I'm still using the 2020 Motorola G Stylus with Android OS 11, the 2021 5G variant does improve things with a larger battery + larger screen + improved Stylus (design & software) + sets you up for 5G with an Android OS 12 Update later + 6gigs RAM 256gigs ROM. It doesn't have NFC (which the Motorola One Ace 5G has), camera has it's moments (they've gotten better), put a screen protector on it (I always do) and case (a clear case to show off that back Emerald colour), don't expect more than 1 OS update (but do enjoy the stock Android).
Phones with included stylus are very useful, especially for digital signatures, take notes, drawings, construction, cad related applications, or any use that needs more precision than a finger.
When on idle mode, the battery percentage does go down (slowly), so I turn on battery saver mode on, to extend the battery. It was slower, but the battery percentage still did go down. 😩
Cons: not a private phone shows recent apps used and also ringtone and notification shares the same volume key which I do not like. I don't want the notifications as loud as my ringtone.
I just got this phone a week ago, and I've been trying to figure out why the ringtone and notifications sounds kept equalling each other. Lol. Now I know why. And It really sucks.
Metal case would add to the weight - it's a big phone - when adding a case to it this would make it even heavier. In regards to the 4K video - how many have the equipment that they can readily see the difference between 4K and the high resolution it takes? I submit relatively few. While I agree t a point in regards to stereo the distance between the speakers doesn't add a great deal to the sound - and having a way to connect earbuds to it and with Bluetooth that is becoming less of a negative.
Thanks for your great video!!! For me, the most disappointment about this phone is that I couldn't "Cast" it to my TV, and also couldn't find a HDMI/Type C device to mirror image.
Sorry if this isn't what you meant, but even if the phone doesn't have a cast option in the pull down notification area, you should be able to cast your screen from within Google's 'Home' app. Select your tv and there should be an option to "cast my screen". Hope that helps
@@jamess4511 That only works with Chromecast or Google TV as best I can figure. If you have an Amazon fire TV or fire stick you seem to be out of luck. That's my situation anyway. Weird that I can cast my laptop no problem, but it appears to be impossible with my phone. And I'm not about to buy Chromecast just to cast the occasional video to to my TV.
Yes he showed us in another video. Tips and tricks. Go to settings and type in navigation. I just changed mine from gesture to the 3bar. I hated that long bar.
Everyone... This stylus phone is LEAPS and BOUNDS better than the LG stylo 6,..... Lol Better cpu/gpu And the company didn't end its smartphone division! Lol So.... THAT'S A PLUS!
I got this phone from Boost Mobile for....ready?..........$200! BAM💥 And to me personally, none of the cons expressed in this video, really affect me in the slightest, well except perhaps the NFC feature which it would've been useful to me since i live in NYC, and i use public transportation (subway) on a daily basis to get to and back from work, and making wireless payments using that NFC feature, would've been a useful little feature to have! But oh well...no biggie!!
I just got one of these FREE from Cricket (128 memory 4gb ram version) because one of my 5 lines had a phone that only worked with 3g and Cricket will no longer support 3g so they had to give us a 4g compatible phone.
@@lincolnw.1 I don't think so, my carrier locked Samsung Galaxy A11 from Cricket Wireless got it's Android 11 update a few days ago. Which carrier did you get it from?

It didn't take long to get into developers options. However, the hotspot on this device is seemingly so slow.

Like the big screen! The stylus is a must for people like me who have fat fingers. No stereo speakers is a disappointment.
Great video bro I have this phone got this phone last week love this phone
can we get rid of the bar at the bottom ? what is nfc?
is it like cash app or bill pay?

How do I remove the lower recent widgets ?

I have the 2022 version of this phone. I love it.
Kevin like always it is a Brezee your Great video thanks...👍
My one huge complaint is no LED notifications blinking light. I depended on that.
I know... Had that on a phone that I lost 8 years ago, never had it again, still miss it.
Can get a app to make it flash
"Mid-range device", great battery capacity, very large internal storage----------that is why about $400
It will definitely be $300 at Carriers like Metro 👍🏻
It's gonna be 249$ on boost mobile but 4 gb ram and 128 storage

I got mine from straight talk for 200... waiting for it to come in the mail
I got mine for 250 at mobile this is a year later tho it's still an amazing phone
Does it have stereo in the headphone jack?

Hey i just got a samsung a12 yesterday, does anyone know if it will receive android 11 anytime soon?
Carrier or Unlocked?
@@gamingperro1469 carrier, would that affect it?

@@gamingperro1469 I got mine from cricket as well, but what I'm thinking is that it will take a few days to get in the system or something
@@lincolnw.1 Yes, since the Galaxy A12 is still a bit new at Cricket you might have to wait a bit.
i had a Sony XZ with NFC never once felt it necessary so i won't miss it
Try OnePlus 6t
Also screen cast does work, but with the caveat of needing to be on the same WiFi router. Also Direct WiFi not work
But can it screen mirror
No NFC is the deal breaker for me

I think the battery is terrible . It was fully charged and already gone down 3% in 15 minutes .
constantly
reading and not reading SD card
It needs a freaking 4k screen. I'm tired of not being able to enjoy that... All I need is a good camera and screen.
Cool phone
This phone I like it is closes to my old LG Stylo 4
Thats the phone im still rocking 😆
Hi
wow im so early im second

buuuuuuut can it play genshin impact????
No sadly
does it really matter if it does or not? you ask that on every single video it's getting annoying.
