I love the stylus phones because I'm older and have problems like arthritis, etc with my fingers so the stylus is Very handy for me. With that said I'm super bummed that there aren't more phones with a built in stylus like there used to be. So basically this is the only affordable phone with a built in stylus now available.
We did know for a while already that the s22 ultra would be the new Samsung note phone. I don't have any joint issues and I'm fairly young but I've been using note phones ever since the note 3 and can't do without my stylus. Use it all the time and absolutely love it. And now it even allows you to use it as a remote picture button so you can take much more accurate pictures, selfies and group pictures without having to set a timer or ask people to hold the phone and take a picture for you Unfortunately Samsung does not offer an affordable alternative to the flagship note/s22 ultra phones. But where I live its actually quite affordable despite the high price as long as you get it with a 2 year contract (50/60 euro a month)
I've had the 2021 version for 4 months now and I'm in love with this phone. A bit powerful, very good battery, built-in pen, and very affordable, I would say. It's a real deal if you're into Motorola phones and you like drawing and more.
@@zerotoux It should be really good I suppose, I used to have an Moto G6 Plus Limited Edition for about 2 years, the battery was hardly dropping to 40 after almost 6 hours of UA-cam on medium bright. Sadly got robbed ☹️
I owned LG Stylo 2-6 and it's not perfect, but I do like this stylus phone from Motorola a lot. I use the stylus for my shopping lists, draw myself diagrams when I do construction projects and circle important information and add notes/draw pictures when I send screenshots to people. Lastly, EVERYONE always becomes extremely jealous of my stylus whenever I get together with friends/family to play Drawful, a ridiculously fun drawing game from Jackbox games where each person's drawings on their phones end up on the TV for everyone to judge/guess what that person was attempting to draw. While everyone else draws with their fingers, I'm creating masterpieces with my stylus. I've always loved my stylus phones and it would make me very sad to find out that stylus phones have become extinct. For now, thank you Motorola for keeping the dream alive!
Hi Michael, I currently have the LG Stylo 4 which I've had for over 3 years and I am looking to upgrade, maybe to this Moto. I can get it for $249, would you say that it would be a worthwhile upgrade? Thanks.
@@Ass_Burgers_Syndrome I bought my Moto G Stylus 5G a few months ago for only $200…but even at $249 I definitely recommend it over ALL of the LG Stylo models because of the superior processing power. It also has some fancy new modern features that I now don't ever want to live without, for instance: 1. Placing the phone face down silences all notifications except alarms or calls that you deem important - no more annoying, unnecessarily interrupted sleep. 2. Turning on and off the flashlight can be done by shaking the phone vigorously twice - when you need a light fast, this is so incredible and fun to use. People get jealous of this feature! 3. Turn on the camera by rotating the phone rapidly. And once the camera turns on, rotate it again rapidly to switch to selfie mode. The camera comes up quickly and this is extremely useful to catch that priceless photo/video that you will miss if you're not ready. I love my Moto G Stylus 5G!
Umm I have a LG Stylo 5 phone also but I found out that the LG Stylo 5 isn't gonna be much of LG phone anymore cause of other companies using LG for other things and NOT phones and my LG Stylo 5 phones battery was draining while charging the phone and just couldn't get up to 100% and only went up too 50% charging n then it kept draining Soo I needed a new phone n got the Moto G Stylus 5G phone instead. Haven't much played around with the phone yet since I just got it on Friday the 15th of October. I'm new to this phone.. it's cool as it looks but don't know much of the features yet but do u know some of the features ????.
Didn't know u could play jack box tv on the Stylus phone.. I've played it before on my tablet with my family but never knew u can play it on the Stylus phone..
I used to carry a pen everywhere and grab whatever paper was handy (napkins, backs of receipts) to draw short comics whenever inspiration struck. My Note 3 changed my life, and I kept it for almost six years. I finally upgraded to a Note 10+. I can't see myself without a stylus phone. If anything, more companies should be adding them.
I dropped my iphone 12 Pro Max for this. I became bored with not being able to customize and feeling underwhelmed at each release. I love this phone and do not regret it. The phone itself is beautiful and I'm having a ball customizing. I do wish it had dual speakers and I am missing iMessage. Overall, I'm enjoying this Motorola! Got it free by switching to Metro. iPhone would need to do something pretty intense for me to switch back.
Personally, I use the stylus almost always. Its extremely convenient for quick notation, especially using the gesture function in text. All in all, Moto should bank on the stylus because it can still be a fashionable thing for many people on the go these days.
My wife didn't know my phone has a stylus until this past week when went to get a new refrigerator and they sent paperwork to my phone. When I had to sign I took out the Stylus to do it. The clerk was also a bit surprised. I do miss the UI of my LG Stylo 4+ though. Every time I see my sister I want to take her Stylo 6.
I just got the Moto G Stylus 5G phone and I haven't played around with yet so would u know the features and stuff that it has to where I can play around with while getting use to it for the first time ??.
Same here I've had Samsung Galaxy phones for the past 10yrs and on day 2 with the Moto 5G Stylus. It's smooth and powerful! The only downsides I see so far is the weight and possibly the charge time. I love the fingerprint scanner functionally and visually!! I don't think it's misfired once since I set it up. Very happy so far that I made a switch to this Motorola phone.
I took my phone down to 13% (it took me two days to get it down there) - plugged it in and started the stopwatch. It took 2.5 hours to fully charge. Essentially just over 1 hr for each days use. Since everybody has to sleep I don't see a 2.5 hr charge time as a negative. Plug it in when you go to bed and it will be charged when you get up - and the battery lives up to it's billing. On time I used it pretty heavily throughout the day and then used it for 2.5 hour TEAMS meeting in the evening, it was just under 20% battery when I disconnected.
I currently have the previous gen Moto G Stylus and I just wanted to share my thoughts real quick on the stylus. I mainly use it for photo editing or if I'm playing Drawful with friends.. often times I forget about it but when I get a chance to use it I'm always really happy I have it with me. I know that's not good enough for a lot of people but I value versatility very highly so between the stylus and the motion commands that Motorola has on their phone I think I'll stick with this brand for a while
6 or 7 months later and I still love this phone really good buy. Starting to use the stylus more than I use too. It's still fast , huge screen, speakers are loud ,battery is really good.
Yeah true I've had it for a year I got it the day after the vid came out and went straight to it and I am coming back to it because I found it in my recommendations and u are correct in what u have said
Thank you for such a great review. True story, wife and I were driving home on Easter Sunday with my parents from dinner and I saw this getting thrown out of a car waiting at the light and went into some bushes. I didn’t think anything of it thinking it was some burner phone. Went by the next day to see if it was still there and to my shock it was still on and usable. I was able to wipe the device and enjoying the stylus and other apps on it. It is sad to see such a nice piece of hardware like this go to waste. Thank you again for providing such detail for the features this phone has.
It makes me wonder if the actual owner of the device is the one who tossed the phone out of the car window at the light. I've actually been kidnapped and the guy tossed my phone out the window when he saw me take it out of the glove box 2 try to make a call for help. So the owner may not have been the one who actually tested out the window it could have been a jealous kidnapper or jealous boyfriend.
I had to upgrade to a 5G phone due to network upgrade, so I got the Moto G Stylus 5G & so far am loving it. Would love to see many of the improvements you've suggested. Thanks for this informative video.
I have no use for a stylus myself, but apparently there's a market for it, so I'm with you. Moto should take advantage of the lack of competition and go all-out with a more premium model next year. That said, I also agree with you that it is unlikely to happen.
Why don't they make the Stylus retractable in the Cell Phone? I lose mine so much. I only want a Phone with the Stylus. Please make it retractable, to pull out and retract in by itself.
I'm definitely going to be getting one. And when you use the night vision mode on a clear sky night,. Go to photo editor and raise the bright up a little. You will be surprised at what you can see in the dark
I chose to get the Power model since I didn't think I would use the stylus, but 2yrs later I have realized there are occasions where the stylus would come in handy. I will probably get it next year when my phone starts to slow down.
Broke my s7 this week and wanted something somewhat cheap and bigger to replace it. It was $239 at Walmart. I'm very impressed so far with this phone especially for the price. I don't mess with the stylus (actually can't even grab it with the case I have lol)
You can also use a higher watt charger to speed up charging times, I'm using the fast charger that came with my Moto G7 and it works great, it shows the "TurboPower connected" message which doesnt appear when using the stock 10W 5g Stylus charger.
@@mathesar That's interesting - as the reviews usually point out that it won't matter if you use a higher watt charger on the phone... just for curiosity sake have you timed it with the standard 10W vsers the higher wattage charger?
@@rockymarquiss8327 I'll time both chargers and make sure both are close or at same battery % remaining when starting the charge, the phone does feel warmer during charging if I happen to pick it up with the fast charger plugged in but may as well get some actual numbers to confirm.
@@rockymarquiss8327 First result using the stock 10W charger: It took 2 hours & 26 minutes to charge from 14% to 100%, that definitely felt slower than the G7's fast charger but it'll take me a day or so to confirm & report back.
Just got this phone yesterday. Love the stylus! It's the reason I went with the phone. For me personally it's amazing for work being able to take notes with the pen
What is the non-Gorilla Glass like on the new Moto's? They only seem to use GG on the Edge series now, and everything else with glass screens now has some sort of generic "scratch resistant" glass. Does it at all compare to GG?
So I personally haven’t experienced any scratches on this Moto G Stylus (which is surprising because I literally scratch everything) but I can tell the glass is “softer” if that makes sense - lower quality - and the glare is more noticeable/significant than a higher end glass. Hope that helps!
For me the stylus would be more functional if it came out with a more useful type of software. Their notes program could auto detect a written alphabetical or numerical value and auto transformed it into a refined type of font and even point size number defaulted/adjustable. Mainly because my notes turn out sloppier due to lag and this would clean it up while saving time from pecking at the tiny keyboard. Another useful tool for the same program would be a translucent box appearing after every written word to arrange them to a snap-to grid pattern or free floating. And last simple shapes that could be dragged and dropped, manipulated with several nodes representing dimension diagrams, say if you were building something, or needed a visual diagram. This is what I mainly use the stylus for so yeah these tools would be useful.
I JUST bought this phone for me and my dad on sale. He needs a BIG chonky phone that is fairly cheap, and I need a Stylus for writing and doodling on my phone as well as a lot of storage space. So, this phone will really suit our needs. The camera from what I have seen of pictures people took on it, is AMAZING. About comparable with the pixel 4a which is also a fantastic phone.
This is definitely a phone Samsung should take note. They should make something like an A52 5G with stylus and digitizer from the Note10 for around $600 like the Note10 Lite. The only other company that has real digitizer for stylus that I can think of is Infinix with their Note series, but sadly they stopped including them in Note 7; the last one to have stylus was the Note 6.
I had two features that I wanted out of a phone that was the karate chop flashlight and a good-sized screen so that's why I got this phone and it seems to be worth the money so far but great review thank you for all the detail
Absolutely amazing, karate flashlight is goated. I used an app to replicate it on a non moto phone and it isn't as good. The 128 gb isn't too shabby either
@@heavensennamon1938 Me too! I was excited to see what LG was going to do with the next Stylo. I was really hopeful for a good camera and willing to pay a few extra hundred for it too. Ugh! It's like you either compromise with not much for storage and low grade camera or you pay the obnoxious amount for the highest end stylus phone. I'm so mad that LG just dropped the ball. I was a huge LG fan. Had the G2 & G3. Was obsessed over the knock feature. Refused to switch over to something else and not have the knock. Lol! Now all the phones have it, it seems. It's the little things. But then the Stylo came out and I had to have every Gen. Oh well! Wasn't going to go from my Stylo 5 to the moto g stylus. It seemed like a side step instead of an upgrade. We'll see what they do in the future with this one.
@@briannajulien3549 definitely a better battery and better camera! Other than that it's almost just like the Stylo. Although it doesn't have the knock screen.
I have the moto stylus with the dual speakers...I LOVE phones with dual stereo speakers. I was wondering myself why this stylus didn't have stereo speakers OR why companies don't make more phones with stereo speakers?! One speaker doesn't cut it when it comes to good quality sound...just like TV's.
Literally just got this phone, coming from a iPhone 12 I was down about the downgrade but so far I'm loving this phone and over only had it all of 7 minutes lol, sitting here at Popeyes in the drive threw playing with it and watching this video
You can always buy a wireless charging adapter that plugs into your phone and easily hides under your phone case, might as well buy a magsafe ring magnet for it while your at it
i bought the one with 6gb of ram and 256gb of storage and its is very fast and doesnt lag the camera is good ive always liked moto phones i had a droid turbo 2 back in the day that i loved if i plug in my google pixel 2 charger it will enable turbo charge on my stylus
I currently own this stylus phone, and had a lg stylus at one point. I personally do not use the stylus for anything at all. They just happened to be the best phone available for the money I wanted to spend. I'd be curious to know how many people actually use it, and what for.. 👍
I have a 2020 model. Got a new Samsung at the beginning of the year and was disappointed with it. It's missing FM Radio, home screen looping like my old Samsung has. There are a couple of games that I use the stylus for and also for jotting down notes when I can't find my notepad.
I have a stylo 6 and really enjoyed it as well as the stylo 3.. Im old school I am going to try it out cause of 5g..I think they will keep this line for a while it seems popular... Keep it I like your review
I got a motorolla for free a couple years back with my service and it hasnt died yet (despite me working at sea in wet/cold/salty conditions using it as a music player). I'm definitely thinking about getting this phone next.
I've had the phone for about a month now. I'm very happy with it, but there are some nit-picky things; -why no gorilla glass at this price level?? -the screen is a bit dim. Often need to brighten it considerably to view, which takes away from the awesome battery life -volume is just ok -it's a little too thick
I had an LG Stylo six. It has a warranty it started acting up without me doing anything, so I was gonna get a new one, then I broke the screen. Now it's off the shelves, so I had to downgrade big time til I could afford something nicer. I'm glad unlike the Stylo 6 this phone has gamer settings. So you can record and link your discord. Love the big screen, and I love the pen bc I'm horrible at writing important things down. I always have my phone though. So while I'm on the phone I just whip the pen out and I don't have to worry about losing the info I needed. Can't wait til mine gets here in a couple days!!
I loved this phone at first ironically but now it's definitely in my top 5 phones lol The 5g bums me out I was ok with 4g and would like the option to revert back T he stylus is a forgotten about feature but still loved by many and I think it's hopeful they keep doing it but they probably don't consider it a smart investment anymore All the manufacturers are melding into one and it's sad the lost art of phone making is being autonomized instead of innovation and imagination creating a cause and effect that inspires more intelligent tech
At 0:35 you can see that the phone literally says 103°. I want to know why it was over 100 degrees even though it was only August. I know August is really hot but that's like the end of summer
Not sure where this video was filmed, but I know here in Portland Oregon we hit 104 degrees on August 12, 2021. If I recall correctly there was a heatwave going on both nationally and around the world.
i do own an ipad but i have to say i am still interested in smartphones which include a s-pen or a stylus with it even though i may not using it for everyday task etc. but still. I just wish there is a way to make all this stylus a little bigger or thicker and not so thin like pocky stick, it does not look that robust. 😥
I've had the Moto 5G stylus 2021 for well over a year and I love it. Cricket upgraded my old 2015 LG Stylo to the Moto 5G stylus 2021 for just $75 including tax. That deal included a heavy duty ZIZO Transform Series case and HD tempered Glass. The HD glass is a necessary and important addition for the Moto 5G Stylus 2021, because the Moto 5G Stylus 2021 does not use tempered Gorilla Glass --- just plain glass! The battery lasts for 1 1/2 days to 2 days. It takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours for a full charge.
I just got this phone on a upgrade so it was free for me, so I was & still am real happy about that! I was using the Samsung Galaxy S8+ so I would say for now is almost the identical phone other then the stylus obviously & it's just a newer phone w\ some pretty cool features that my Samsung didn't do. I haven't used the stylus yet (only have it for 3 days) or it's special apps that come with it cause I'm always playing Modern Strike pvp on-line game. I love the huge screen! The one speaker on the bottom was a bummer cause I'm a fan of dual speakers & think that every phone should come with dual speakers but upon checking out some features I noticed that there's a few settings that you can use to make that speaker get louder or more bass punch or less bass and more treble or you can manually adjust the speaker settings however you like which my S8+ little speaker didn't do. It's also a 5G phone so it's runs much faster & smoother then my S8+. The color emerald green I'm not a huge fan of but once I saw how shiny & transparent it was I started liking it a little but still think Motorola should've given customers at least a few more color options. It doesn't look or feel like a mid tier phone & that's what I'd like to do is put this phone into a low\mid\high tier phone but I just haven't had it long enough to put it in a category yet. Now on to the camara.... S8+ only has one camara lens so right off the bat that's a upgrade. I like the macro and night vision plus the other lenses but the picture quality could've been better I think. I mean you'd think that Motorola would've went above and beyond to make the now only phone with a stylus have the best features that's available on the market but this is more of a poor man's Samsung note. So I'm very very happy with it so far and I would say it's a upgrade from my old S8+. Especially since I didn't spend a penny to get it! What would you say about this being a upgrade from my old S8+??? Agree?
They should keep selling the stylus. I am 56 and my fingers sometimes do not work as well as they use to, I am able to use the stylus for what I need on my phone. it's very helpful
Why did they comprimise so much with this phone? I still have my old one which is the 2020 version and it has turbo power, dual Dolby speakers, and so far I'm finding the battery sucks compared to my old one. At 42 percent it says it will last until around 1. My old one at 50 days 10:30 am. This was at 8:00 pm. I just feel that it was a huge tradeoff for 5G and a little bit bigger screen.
100% facts man. I could honestly deal with the speakers since I rarely use my phones without headphones but the battery life sucks big time. It's pretty much the same as my galaxy a01 that has half the features this phone has
I had an AST PenExec laptop in 1994, with Windows for pen computing 1.0 and it was so good that I can't believe it was almost 30 years ago. The pen is the best pointing device and the most natural graphic input device and will be around for a long time
Phone with included stylus are very useful, especially for digital signatures, take notes, drawings, construction, cad related applications, or any use that needs more precision than a finger.
This is a better stylus phone than the LG stylo 6...at least in terms of processing power and overall usability. Also, moto DIDN'T shut down their phone division....that's always a plus, LMFAO!!!
@CGGS_Gaming Yeah I've been thinking of that too. I don't know if to get the buds plus, the buds live or the buds 2. @TechDaily, what do you recommend?
You kept mentioning it being in the $400 dollar range but I am able to get it for $150 at my local cricket. How would you rate it being in that price range?
Love the features for the price. Kinda makes you rethink spending 4x more on a Samsung phone with a stylus. I wouldn't mind an upgraded version for a couple more hundred bucks. Dual speakers, stronger CPU and more ram, something like that. Well worth the few extra bucks as an option and still half the price of a galaxy
I need your help. Purchased one of these for my mom. Somehow she moves the apps around on the home screen...by mistake. I've set the timer to maximum before a move can happen, but that didn't help. Is there an app that locks apps from moving? Her old phone had a home screen lock...and everything was great once that was on...but really....I've checked everything in settings. And searched the web. All the app locks are to LOCK the app from access...not to lock it from being moved. If there's not one...you have a gold mine suggestion here. Thanks.
This particular Gorgeous Emerald 💚 Phone Model has been selling like a Hot Potato 🥔 here in San Diego. It took awhile to get this phone in stock and even then was barely able to get mine, they were down to the last 2 in stock. It checks all the boxes for me and I didn't have to spend $500-$1000.
The reason I've had stylus phones is because they were affordable and functioned well enough. The stylus never came in handy. It's kinda silly to say the only reason to get this phone is for the stylus, because it's such a minor feature.
I have been using Stylo phones since the 4.. got the 6 a little over a year ago and it broke last night, won't lie, super tough phone....The pen was my only issue, it would always fall out and lost it once and had to buy a new one, cost me 18 bucks...Well, since I couldn't see anything on my screen from the break, I decided to go with this one..so I will know in a few days if it is worth the hype. Stylo 6 only went to 4g and they stopped making them or I would have stuck with it...Not impressed it has a crap speaker, I liked having the top and bottom speakers with stereo sound. Would be more impressed if it also had the gorilla glass...they give you lees to make you spend more....Cooperate for you..they build cheaper, you spend more.
Motorola had me with the stylus and expandable memory...but lost me at no wireless charging! My three must-haves...memory card slot, stylus, and wireless charging. The search continues. Damn it, I was really hopeful.
I hope companies start making more phones with a built-in stylus. I love my Note 10 Plus and have had very few problems with it, during the almost 4 years I've owned it.
Boost is forcing me to upgrade. Would you choose the moto stylus or the galaxy A13. I'm leaning toward the A13 because I feel it has a better processing and I feel samsung is a quality brand of phone. What are your thoughts?
We just started selling this at Spectrum mobile and it was one of the best suggestions for mobile IMO. A lot better than Samsung’s A lines and is a good contender to the A42 for the price. For $275.99 you get a lot for your bucks. I noticed it does chug when you set the device up, the cameras are fine, it is pretty light, 1080p, and basically stock android. Set ups are a major royal b**** when you need to do a data transfer and the main photo app being google photos and they never wanna work with Smart Switch or LG Mobile Switch.
Thanks for info. I've had this for a little over a month and have not been able to finish the set-up, yet. Learning to navigate is the most difficult part, for me. Then when I get to where they ask questions for set-up, there is NOT enough info to know what answer is right for me. Doesn't help at all that I've operated on a tabletop computer for over 22 yrs, either.
Only bad thing about this phone for me is I was used to using contactless pay with my old phone and this phone does not have NFC...I was made to "upgrade" to a 5g phone with less than my old 3g phone which had more capabilities...
I have the 2020 Moto g Stylus and I love it. I do hope they continue to make a phone with it. its a lot better than my fingers when doing something detailed.
I absolutely love my stylus 5G with that deep green color & the quad camera set-up! Only thing needed is a software update not the usual type but an actual update that doesn't affect the phone negatively! I want to keep this phone forever!!👍💯

The SD 480 chipset is pretty powerful. It's about 50% faster than a sd662 and uses a lot less power. Don't under estimate these new SD 4xx chips
My snapdragon 460 moto g play 2021 for 50$ gets like 150k in antutu. The 480 in this phone gets over 250k. Not bad! Just a wee bit high at 400$.

I agree,I like it.
I've had this phone a month and think it's great. Always have had a Samsung so it took some time getting used to. I love it.
I went from Motorola back to Samsung and deeply regretted it. Returned to Motorola with this phone and I love it
Does it have very many font choices?
I took my phone down to 13% (it took me two days to get it down there) - plugged it in and started the stopwatch. It took 2.5 hours to fully charge. Essentially just over 1 hr for each days use. Since everybody has to sleep I don't see a 2.5 hr charge time as a negative. Plug it in when you go to bed and it will be charged when you get up - and the battery lives up to it's billing. On time I used it pretty heavily throughout the day and then used it for 2.5 hour TEAMS meeting in the evening, it was just under 20% battery when I disconnected.
What you do makes a lot of sense. I would think most people charge overnight. The storage on this phone is amazing!
I just plug in it when I sleep and I don't worry about battery at all. Phone lasts literally all day even with heavy use
I bought this phone for 2 reasons:
2ghz
128gb
I rarely use the stylus, but it is nice to have sometimes.
Your reviews are always of interest, not just copying what all the others say
I currently have the previous gen Moto G Stylus and I just wanted to share my thoughts real quick on the stylus. I mainly use it for photo editing or if I'm playing Drawful with friends.. often times I forget about it but when I get a chance to use it I'm always really happy I have it with me. I know that's not good enough for a lot of people but I value versatility very highly so between the stylus and the motion commands that Motorola has on their phone I think I'll stick with this brand for a while
My husband and I get ours tomorrow and I'm so excited. I've actually heard amazing things about it. I can't wait to use this.
Wtf 😂
It makes me wonder if the actual owner of the device is the one who tossed the phone out of the car window at the light. I've actually been kidnapped and the guy tossed my phone out the window when he saw me take it out of the glove box 2 try to make a call for help. So the owner may not have been the one who actually tested out the window it could have been a jealous kidnapper or jealous boyfriend.
I had to upgrade to a 5G phone due to network upgrade, so I got the Moto G Stylus 5G & so far am loving it. Would love to see many of the improvements you've suggested. Thanks for this informative video.
Cricket I'm guessing. I get to choose between this and iPhone se. Which one you think I should get?
Depends if you prefer ios or android.
I love this phone. Just picked one up yesterday, and I have no complaints. Used it to stream some movies this morning, and my audio was amazing.
I personally prefer a stylus because of the design apps I use. It's so convenient for me to be able to draw on my phone.
S7 are the best ...still have mine
The statement that it takes "hours" to recharge is overstated... except I haven't had it take 2 hours, so the time is between 1 and 2 hours.
@@mathesar That's consistent with what I found on my phone. I'm curious to find out the next timing... :)
Just got this phone yesterday. Love the stylus! It's the reason I went with the phone. For me personally it's amazing for work being able to take notes with the pen
As a 90's baby I love stylus phones.
Simple. If you try to break it, it'll break. If you take care of it it'll last longer.
I would say it's 9/10 compared to gg
@@joeldavila4382 hardly noticeable, until you scratch it...lol
The glass breaks very easily from what people have posted, one bad drop and need a replacement.
This is what I mainly use the stylus for so yeah these tools would be useful.
i have this phone for over one year and so far have never used the Stylus but the phone is very good
Awesome video! Do you mind giving me a download for that wallpaper?? It looks amazing 😍
Yes please
@@bhall5732 He never responded to me Betty 😂
Karate chop flashlight is awesome!
Absolutely amazing, karate flashlight is goated. I used an app to replicate it on a non moto phone and it isn't as good. The 128 gb isn't too shabby either
I like the color, reminds me of the S6 Edge's Green Emerald 🥰💚
I've always had a love for Motorola phones, so much value for the price you pay

Me to! I loved the Stylo's 😭
I love the stylus but this phone is so big, I'm going to have to make all pockets bigger...
Is that the 2020?

You can always buy a wireless charging adapter that plugs into your phone and easily hides under your phone case, might as well buy a magsafe ring magnet for it while your at it

Any reviews about Motorola's moto g stylus (2020)?
How about a comparison? ua-cam.com/video/0Agcx-YNi0Y/v-deo.html
I'm still using a Stylo 4 (yeah I know, lol) and wanted to upgrade to a 6, but Metropcs stopped carrying it, so I'm thinking of getting the Moto.
The lg stylo 3 was the best one
I got a motorolla for free a couple years back with my service and it hasnt died yet (despite me working at sea in wet/cold/salty conditions using it as a music player). I'm definitely thinking about getting this phone next.
5:55 Did you ever change the battery for the smoke alarm?
Great video! Right now, this is only ~$76 on QVC with 1 year of service!
I've had the phone for about a month now.
I'm very happy with it, but there are some nit-picky things;
-why no gorilla glass at this price level??
-the screen is a bit dim. Often need to brighten it considerably to view, which takes away from the awesome battery life
-volume is just ok
-it's a little too thick
I got one and I freaking love it
I had an LG Stylo six.
Should I upgrade my 2020 moto g Fast for this?
I loved this phone at first ironically but now it's definitely in my top 5 phones lol
The 5g bums me out I was ok with 4g and would like the option to revert back
T he stylus is a forgotten about feature but still loved by many and I think it's hopeful they keep doing it but they probably don't consider it a smart investment anymore
All the manufacturers are melding into one and it's sad the lost art of phone making is being autonomized instead of innovation and imagination creating a cause and effect that inspires more intelligent tech
My FAT fingers need the stylus often. I also love that they kept the 3.5mm jack. No audio jack is a "deal breaker" for me.
i do own an ipad but i have to say i am still interested in smartphones which include a s-pen or a stylus with it even though i may not using it for everyday task etc.
If this phone had the NFC capability with smart view .... It would be amazing. I agree that the stylus capability needs work. 💓
Does it have the capability to screen record like on Samsung it has it built in to its phone?
I am happy to see the high rez. It's the same as the Moto G Power (2020), and I was very dismayed to see they reduced the rez in the 2021 version.
Has anyone filmed for UA-cam using this phone? I'd love feedback...thanks
I love having a stylus phone! LG really hurt my feelings! I've owned a LG for years! So I thank you Motorola soooo much for keeping a stylus phone!!
Same. Lg stylo 4 and fiances has the 5. Weve had them years. Was so excited about the 7 and they gave up on it!
This is a better stylus phone than the LG stylo 6...at least in terms of processing power and overall usability.
Also, moto DIDN'T shut down their phone division....that's always a plus, LMFAO!!!
In that case it should be way better than my Stylo 4 that I still use hahah

How would this phone do with GCAM mod?
You kept mentioning it being in the $400 dollar range but I am able to get it for $150 at my local cricket. How would you rate it being in that price range?
Bruh your cricket is 150$ damn man . Im jelly
Thanks.
Man, I HATED having to upgrade from my last Samsung Note. Those were excellent phones for me! Glad this came along.
Thank you. Very helpful in making my decision about this device.
Question! Using CPU- Z app, why it Showing Snapdragon 750G ? ?
That's confusing...
What's with these jubilee phones?
The reason I've had stylus phones is because they were affordable and functioned well enough.
The stylus never came in handy. It's kinda silly to say the only reason to get this phone is for the stylus, because it's such a minor feature.
Its not a minor feature for people who refuse to buy a phone without a stylus
It's only minor if you don't have to frantically search for something to write on lol.
Integrated stylus is helpful when you have thick gloves in cold climates, snowy, rain area, or thick safety gloves.
Does anyone know where to buy this phone in Europe or with reasonable shipping costs?
Motorola had me with the stylus and expandable memory...but lost me at no wireless charging! My three must-haves...memory card slot, stylus, and wireless charging.
The search continues. Damn it, I was really hopeful.
I hope companies start making more phones with a built-in stylus. I love my Note 10 Plus and have had very few problems with it, during the almost 4 years I've owned it.
105 degrees? I live in Alabama. Couldn't imagine that type of heat here.
Will there be a review for the Moto G Stylus 2022? Would love to see if they have any worth while updates
Thanks For This!
Going in tomorrow to get this.

Thanks so much Drex! 👍
Boost is forcing me to upgrade. Would you choose the moto stylus or the galaxy A13. I'm leaning toward the A13 because I feel it has a better processing and I feel samsung is a quality brand of phone. What are your thoughts?
how good are the mics for music recordings? like concerts and recording headphones for mixing and separation
I want to keep this phone forever!!👍💯
how is it with downloading apps and storage space? music photos, video's saving projects? right now i have a samsung galaxy a21 and im looking for something different.
Just got it for a few weeks already GREAT phone.
19yr old and I barely use my phone for more then UA-cam and other low power stuff. Need to upgrade from my g6 do to some issues and was afraid to lose the rear finger sensor I love so much. This phone sounds perfect and I'm actually excited to switch
