For half the price you can get a oneplus n200 for half the price with a high refresh rate display, or if you want something that will actually last with better cameras get a pixel 5a, iPhone se, or even a Samsung a52.
What's wrong with this phone is that you can get the same specs for half the price(nord n200), and that Motorola has really shoddy software support. For the same price something like a pixel 5a or a52 will have 4 or more years of software support with better performance
I just brought this device from metro pcs for 300$ I definitely like the phone but here are some observations I made after a day of using 1. Fingerprint scan works really well 2. This device can definitely game. It runs codm smoothly on the highest graphic setting with no lag or overheating 3. It's a massive screen. It's almost 7 inches & you can definitely tell. It can get a bit uncomfortable to hold after a while but it's nothing that bad. Makes gaming and streaming really nice 4. Battery life is not that great. Even with light usage. I've only had this device for a day but the battery goes from full to 0 in less than 4-6hrs. You definitely aren't getting a full day's use from a full charge. I feel it's about the same battery life as my lower tier old Samsung galaxy a01 5. Stylus feels really nice. Writing is nice but I wise the point was a bit smaller for more smoother experience 6. The speaker setup isn't a big deal for me as I rarely use my phone without headphones. I still haven't really all the setting yet but it's definitely a decent quality phone Overall 8/10.
I will have to check back and see if there was an update for the battery because the battery life was insane for me. Closer to 8 or 9 hours at close to full brightness...so your usage might be heavy but I will double check it. Definitely worth it for that kind of money though. No question.

I want this phone 😊
Excellent design! A very nice phone! Thanks for watching!
The phone remembers your GPS position of where you last took the stylus out.. I do not like that At All. It's a huge security risk. If I had my way, I'd disable the ground positioning system entirely.
That's true but that's so many things on so many devices that it would be so tough to put that rabbit back in the hat so might as well have it work to your advantage sometime.
I love this phone so much
love Moto phones
Absolutely...always good value and they support them well! Thanks!
I had good hopes for this phone so I ordered one and when I received it I thought it was great till after using it for a little over a month...then I started getting complaints that calls were not going through I mean alot of calls and the phone is thick and a little heavy and the pictures do not come out that great and the screen brightness is a flop I work outside and you can't hardly see the screen on it if your outside and for the 8 gigs of ram and a 5g phone it's really not any faster than my old phone that only had 6 gigs and was 3g and 4g so don't waste your time on this one I returned it for a refund ...I purchased a new galaxy note 10 plus cheaper than what I payed for the Motorola G stylus 5g...full brightness on the moto only compares to not quite half the brightness on this note 10....so shop around and pass on this moto 5g
And not to mention how many times I had to restart it during a day because the screen kept locking up I had to restart it like 12 to 15 times in 1 day come on now
Wonder if you just unfortunately got a bad phone or something wasn't made properly on your phone?..It's like getting a bum car..hope you finally got yourself a better phone.
@@jamiegore4192 u the only one hanging trouble this a good phone
Nice review. We now know that they only promise one year of os and only 2 years security updates. That's the real issue with this phone.
interesting
I just bought this phone for 49.99 Black Friday sale.
That's a great deal for this for sure!
For half the price you can get a oneplus n200 for half the price with a high refresh rate display, or if you want something that will actually last with better cameras get a pixel 5a, iPhone se, or even a Samsung a52.
Its now a buck fifty and seems to be a solid phone for sure.
Oh absolutely for that. Absolutely!
Is nothing wrong with this phone i like it
I think it's great and quite solid! I have not have issues with durability but I haven't dropped it yet! I think once but on carpet!
What's wrong with this phone is that you can get the same specs for half the price(nord n200), and that Motorola has really shoddy software support. For the same price something like a pixel 5a or a52 will have 4 or more years of software support with better performance
Notification noise for no reason.u think u have a message and nothing is there grrrr
The 2021 model is the one to get. You can get it for cheap if you buy it with some sort of plan. 5G is unnecessary.
I will have the 2022 one here in a week or so to see what you get.
Moto cool 👍
Absolutely!
I just brought this device from metro pcs for 300$ I definitely like the phone but here are some observations I made after a day of using
1. Fingerprint scan works really well
2. This device can definitely game. It runs codm smoothly on the highest graphic setting with no lag or overheating
3. It's a massive screen. It's almost 7 inches & you can definitely tell. It can get a bit uncomfortable to hold after a while but it's nothing that bad. Makes gaming and streaming really nice
4. Battery life is not that great. Even with light usage. I've only had this device for a day but the battery goes from full to 0 in less than 4-6hrs. You definitely aren't getting a full day's use from a full charge. I feel it's about the same battery life as my lower tier old Samsung galaxy a01
5. Stylus feels really nice. Writing is nice but I wise the point was a bit smaller for more smoother experience
6. The speaker setup isn't a big deal for me as I rarely use my phone without headphones.
I still haven't really all the setting yet but it's definitely a decent quality phone
Overall 8/10.
I will have to check back and see if there was an update for the battery because the battery life was insane for me. Closer to 8 or 9 hours at close to full brightness...so your usage might be heavy but I will double check it. Definitely worth it for that kind of money though. No question.
I'm buying it for the battery life so I hope you're wrong
Got it for 200$
Great price!
Straight talk $ 239.00.
Garbage..had it for a few hours And took it back for the nord n200...good decision
Certainly not garbage but not for everyone. Glad you like your Nord at least.
The video on the moto 5g stylus is *HORRIBLE!*
SD 480 right away into trash 🗑️
Boom
Why? Battery life is amazing and the performance for the price is quite good.
@@StevealiciousTech ever heard about Chinese smartphones ?
Xaiomi poco realme OnePlus
Thanks for the review Steve. Kumar, this IS a Chinese phone. Lol. Lenovo owns Motorola now.
@@neologicspasms it's a old news.

@@SeanEricSpearman This is actually the third version of this device I've had the first two. The first one was the best in my opinion.
I think it's good for $99.
No phone has any business being over 200 bucks
