Try and ignore the mean comments. You are beautiful!
No one's face is perfectly symmetrical. The only reason it has become more noticeable of late is because we all spend so much time seeing ourselves represented 2 dimensionally via photographs, videos & zoom. It's not a big deal & people remarking on it are rude.
Very good point! I never even noticed it before and no one in my real life has ever commented on any of those things before.
This!! Plus front facing cameras emphasise ‘flaws’ that don’t even exist
I don’t understand why people feel the need to make such rude comments. One more reason I’m in awe of content creators who put themselves out there. ❤️
Absolutely! Well said, yensid! You are absolutely beautiful Jen!!! I have severe lazy eyes and my right one is much worse than the left . It’s always bothered me until I hit 47! I’ll be 48 in a few months and now things like that just doesn’t bother me anymore and if it bothers someone else then maybe they should concern themselves with what could be going on with them?!
The foundation trick for a tan look is great! Especially to use up foundation that isn't quite the right shade match.
Hey that's a good idea!! Thanks.
on the topic of botox and filler, only get it if you feel YOU want it. don’t let anyone make you feel as though you need it. you’re gorgeous as you are and i love how natural and transparent you are ❤️
Came here to say this!💗💕
Yes most definitely Jen you are beautiful inside and out! Dont let those trolls plant bad thoughts because they want others to be miserable as they are!
The color of your sweater & the eye and lip colors is so pretty for your coloring, makes your blue eyes pop!
It's wonderful, refreshing and very rare to see someone on YT (and other media outlets) who DOESN'T have botox, fillers etc!! I love and appreciate you being the beautiful you that you are - please, stay gorgeous and natural.
What is your favourite eyeshadow brand? For me Sydney Grace wipes the floor clean. I love their shadows and the colour stories in all their palettes - they're very well thought out.
This was an awesome vid, I loved every second 😊
Love ya 💗💗💗💗
PS : I always watch all the ads in support of you and your channel - well, can you believe that I watched one that lasted 21 minutes?!!! It was incredibly interesting (about planting trees and climate change). I reckon THAT ad ought to be equivalent to 5 normal ads and YT ought to pay you 5 times as much 😉! xx
Wow 21 minutes?? Oh my gosh I feel so bad they put such a long ad in front of my video, but a huge THANK YOU for watching it!! 🥰🙏🏻 That means so much to me Chrissy! You're the best!
I giggled when you talked about whether or not to buy a palette. I debated for about a month on the ND retro palette. I watched every video I could find of women doing tutorials. I would look at it online every day. I finally purchased it at a discount and have been so happy that I did. As far as Botox goes, shame on whoever made the remark about your lips. If you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all. Geez people are rude. You look beautiful just as you are! I loved the video and hope you do more like these. Thanks for all the great info! Much love!🥰
one of the things that i love the most about you is that you prefer to be more natural, and i’m convinced that’s why you you look so youthful. i prefer more natural makeup myself and enjoy your content so very much. ♥️♥️♥️
The one thing that I respect about you is that you have not changed your face or body. This makes you very relatable.
Thank you so much! As of now I don't plan on changing anything. :)
Loving the plants and candles in your background, the ambiance is so comfy and cozy! 💕
OMG Jen, you do not need filler. I never even noticed uneven brows on you. Also, every time i watch your videos, i think to myself how gorgeous and juicy your lips are (not in a weird way). Please don't listen to the negative remarks. These people are just unhappy and insecure with themselves. Stay humble. You are a beautiful person.
Aw thank you Karen! 🥰❤️
Jen…. We ALWAYS find your videos helpful! Thank you so much! 🌷
On the question for a tan. Josie Maran has a illuminating body cream and Samba has body glow oils. Both work great on dry skin. They are not self tanners. Please don't let the haters hurt you feelings. Everyone of us has some sort of flaws, that's why they comment. You are beautiful as you are 😍❤
Dermablend makes actual body makeup so that might be a good product for mixing with lotion for leg coverage. And it is supposed to be water resistant & high coverage IIRC
Sally Hanson also makes a good one.
Since Milani is having a 30% off Memorial sale, I figured I'd stock up on lip oils & try that peach hand cream you were raving about. My hands get pretty dry from hand washing, and you made it sound really good ( especially the smell). Hope you're having a good weekend, thanks for the recommendation!
Oh that's a great sale!! Enjoy them! :)
That sweater is an amazing color on you.
Btw Jen - you don't have to prove yourself to anyone or compare yourself to anyone. I know as humans we do that and those people who make dumb comments are just in a controlled mindset and have allowed themselves to be controlled by the thoughts of other people that need things to look or be in a certain way to make them happy because they don't understand they can focus and direct their thinking.
Love the rose quartz & tartlette juicy for spring too!
And so you should be happy with how you look! You are so pretty and shouldn’t change a thing! And you are correct when to many people get Botox and go too far and then look weird 😞
Loved this you should do like a series on makeup answering questions it’s very helpful every time I get your recommendations it’s on spot. Thanks Jenn for sharing all your knowledge with us. Love you dear.
Hi Jen, thank you so much for this jewel of a video. I am a BP fan and the eyeshadow crayons are great, i think a dupe for the Bobby Brown ones. I use the same skincare as you too, beautiful formulas. As far as negative comments go, you are beautiful inside and out. You are my absolute favourite. Sending much love from the Uk. 😁
You are beautiful as is!! 😍 I always look forward to your informative and interesting videos! And I love your makeup storage and background.
Just made my first Beauty Pie order! I'm excited. I ordered some cream eyeshadow, cream bush and some lip crayons.
You're gorgeous, Jen, you don't need any cosmetic procedures. :)
I enjoyed the pale pink blushes. After a couple of my favorite blush shades have been discontinued, I'm always on the lookout for other suggestions. Especially something on the more affordable end.
Jen, you are amazing with all the great products you recommend for summer makeup! Love your videos!!
Hi Jen, thank you for such a relaxing, fun and informative video. You are absolutely lovely. A joy to watch! 💕
I just wanted to say first, I love your videos, and secondly that I think you are one of the prettiest people I watch on UA-cam. I never noticed the difference between your eyebrows nor your lip wrinkles. I think you are stunning. Keep up the great videos!
Aw thank you so much!!
Indeed .. makeup that doesn't perform well gets the round file. I had 10 or so MAC singles that just were dried out and wouldn't apply smoothie to my eyes. I know for a fact that many of those MAC singles were purchased when Makeup By TiffanyD was filming in her closet (like 10 yrs ago .. lol).
When I saw you with this palette it reminded me of the ELF Rose Gold eye shadow palette - Sunset - in Australia it retails for $19. Big difference in price. The swatches look very similar.
You don’t need Botox. Bad thing about Botox is if you ever stop using it after you start, it makes you look older. My mom did that and she aged a bit after she stopped. Great video as usual.
I always wondered about that...if maybe the muscles that it's freezing lose their tone and when it wears off they get more saggy. It would be a great business model for them...basically once you start you can never stop!
Heh- I’ve been accused of having lip filler- no.1 rule of life is NOYB- but in my case I got my mom’s lips which were always full. Now rule 2: what you inherit via genetics you keep - just keep them in good shape and don’t go flapping lips with nonsensical comments 💋
Yes! This was so helpful. You answered alot of questions that I didn't know that I had.
I appreciate you so very much for keeping us company !
You give me such “big sister” vibes 🥰
Aw thank you so much! 🥰
WOW 🤩 This video was sooo much fun❣️❣️❣️What a plethora of information!!! Also thanks for answering my question🥰 I hope you do this every now and then. It made me remember products I have in my collection that I’ve neglected. I really appreciate all the hard work you put into every video you share! Thanks so much, Jen❣️❤️🥰
Just tried that No 7 life and luminate powder today for the first time and OMG it's so beautiful!!! It just made my face look so flawless. This will be a holy grail for me for sure. Btw Jenn these videos are fire!! I'm just loving all the questions that ppl are asking 💜💜💜
I think it's a dead-on dupe for Charlotte Tilbury powder!
@@reginaroza3154 exactly what I was thinking too!! No 7 is really intriguing me these days.
The Flower Beauty Light Illusion powder is also a beautiful dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury powder . I’m 53 yrs old and it looks flawless under my eyes I love it ..
The face is never even on both sides, so it's absolutely normal to have things fall differently. Customers obsessed with that over plump or frozen look, demand from greedy doctors to create plastic looking people; but the reality out there, is that the majority of doctors and specialists doing fillers and Botox, will start a new customer, with the lightest amount first, and have them come back in 2 weeks to see the results and add any small additional product that didn't quite give the result that you're looking for. The good thing with Botox, is that it's not permanent, and the results wear off in a few months, so you could check it out and have few regrets, if any. So that's my opinion on that topic, but most importantly: you are one of my favorite YTbers, and i think you're such a naturally beautiful woman, inside and out. Always stay Open to new ideas, and know that a few nasty people out there are just jealous of your kindness and positive energy. Take care! 👍😊💖
You’re great for being you, and you come across as real! I can’t stand that ignorant people post hateful garbage here. By the way, I love when you answer questions. You give your viewers the best kind of glimpse into you 💖
Love this eye look on you sooo much!!!
my friend won't use self tan either she uses dove gradual tan it's a moisturiser so it blends just as you said the foundation does it comes in 2 colours it looks nice xx
Agree. I wait and see if I still want the eye palette after a few weeks after it launches. Most times I end up choosing not to add it to my collection. You can add anything you want to your face (Botox or filler) but you don't need it at all. You have beautiful features and great skin. Thanks, Jen. Blessings!
Benefit Dandelion is really nice as well. My new Dollface blush palette is deeper than light pink, but the "highlight" color is actually more of a light pink than a highlight. The medium shade isn't baby, but it's a pretty cool pink.
loved these videos, jen! i appreciate your realness. i am only speaking for myself, but please don't feel like you need to keep buying ND palettes for youtube. you have such a wealth of knowledge of eyeshadows, that i think it's necessary. also love to see another dry skin gal representing :D
The way I clean my makeup brushes is
1) put soap in the cap of the soap bottle and add water,
2) take my brush(es) and swirl it in solution
and 3) rinse with clean water.
4) Change water in cap between each use so that the solution is clean. Only takes 1-2 minutes approximately. Pretty basic and simple.
I really like SG shadows, I would like to move away from or buy less palettes in the future (or just invest in small ones) and go back to singles. I think I would be happy with just SG singles, and maybe a few CP ones. I have thought of trying other indie brands but haven't felt the need to be honest. And I am another one that thinks you look nice just the way you are. I don't like my wrinkles but am trying to embrace them, I am afraid of Botox anyway. I also am sprouting more gray hairs by the hour it seems, I am trying to look at them as "free highlights", good video!
The Jergens gradual tanner is so good. Tans but isn't as streaky as actual tanners. The smell is nice but not too overpowering. An older product but still holds up!
I love these videos. Love your rithm, you clear explanations. Just love these. Please keep them coming.
I love this video and thank you for always putting up on the screen the names and brands of the products is easy for me to screen shoot when I want to remember what I like to get.
Hey Jen, I love your videos and trust your recommendations. You're totally someone I would want to have coffee with and be friends with, you're so down to earth and not pretentious which I appreciate! I hope you don't get procedures done because of the rotten comments done by those with no manners. I think you look great but if one day you decide to because you want it that's great too!
Thanks you! I'm really loving your Q&A videos!
Please don't be jealous you are so beautiful and it is so refreshing to see a face that is relatable instead of a face that is pretty made and drawn up to look a certain way you are all born with the face we have and we can put makeup on to feel more beautiful but we definitely don't need to go physically alternating ourselves permanently all the rest of eternity
Love, Love, Love this type of video!!! Thank you for being so open and honest!! ❤❤❤
Thank you Jen! This was super helpful!!
I LOVE the Beauty Pie Vitamin C Capsules! I ran out last month and miss them a lot. I also love their Niacinamide Serum and their The Velvetizer powder. Would definitely not recommend their candles.
I love the foundation tip for the legs, Jen! Thanks!
For self tanning, I kind of gave up just because coconut (caprylic trygiceride) based or shea butter based products tend to clog my pores, and those ingredients are in so many products. But if a person doesn't have those issues, L'Oreal and Jergens has some very low key self tanners that kind of just add a bit over time, and I'm really fair so I find they're good. But I do use a heavy cream(Cera Ve) on my legs after showers and a bit of olive oil after to seal on moisture.
Love this series!!!!
This is such a fun video/series!!
First as far as your eyes dear you’re absolutely adorable. I can’t believe the stupid things people say to you. I think you’re adorable and I appreciate all the hard work you do for us and how much money you’ve saved me over the years. thank you thank i’ll be 63 in September and I’ve never had any injections. good skin care I think takes the place. I don’t think I’d do it because I’ve seen people with adverse reactions and that’s not worth it to me. Not to mention once you start you have to keep going because the Botox doesn’t dissipate evenly from what I’ve seen on friends that do it. they have to go back for injections to even out what has dissipated in their skin.
Hi Michelle! Thank you so much! 🥰 That's what I'm afraid of also...I keep hearing stories from people who have lumps and bumps and unevenness from Botox and fillers and it scares me too!
Great video! I started watching as a casual, slightly distracted watch and quickly realized no this is a full attention video, so I saved to rewatch.
I love the foundation in the lotion trick you suggested! I will definitely try it. Tks.
Great questions and answers. I’m glad it’s going to be a recurring series.
Thanks for sharing Jen !! I hope your holiday weekend is going well !!
I really appreciate and trust what you recommend to us as your viewers. You are amazing!! One of my favorite UA-camrs to watch😊❤️.
This was great. Thank you. You are very, very knowledgeable and experienced.
What a fabulous mash-up of information! Thank you so much! 💓
Great video! Love these!!
Jen I had the same issue with my one eyebrow. I was obsessing about it so I went and got Botox to even it out. It worked amazing. You couldn’t even tell I had it but it definitely raised the brow to even them out. It lasted maybe 6 months. I need it again so I am calling tomorrow to schedule it agin. Try it. You can come to Long Island and use my girl 😉. Highly recommend!
Thanks so much for answering my question on undertones and foundation colors. Makes sense and I'm excited to try some darker neutral shades 😃
I am so curious about the Versed spf, would love to try!
The baby pick blushes are awesome, another GREAT one is winters kissed from kylie cosmetics!
Great idea about mixing foundation with lotion.
Lots of great information! Thanks
Fun and Informative..Thanks for sharing!!
By the way, I know you have dry skin BUT your skin has been looking AMAZING for awhile now. Every time I put on foundation it looks cakey so I’m trying more serums
Girrrrrl!!!!! U am with u on the eyebrows sitting differently! I too raise my right one involuntarily and it's a lil more hooded than the other! Omg! I'm not alone!!!!! 👏😘
Love your comparison. You’re the best. Thank you so much for your content. 🤗
You are beautiful exactly the way you are!!
Loving your hair 😍
Ooh i really love this video Jen ☺☺☺
I've been using the Dr Bronner's Unscented castile soap for over 15 years to clean my makeup brushes. My brushes are clean and extremely soft afterwards. My brushes are from Eco Tools ❤ Take care everyone
Such a great video Jen!
I like Burt’s Bees Shy Pink. It is finally back in stock at Ulta. It is $9.99.
Hi Jen! I like the foundation trick for having tan legs. I’ll be giving this one a try for sure. Good video, thanks Jen!
❤️💜💚
I suggest the Hemp golden glow lotion. I use it once or twice a week for a hint of color. Not as intense as self tanner.
Good vid, really enjoyed!
Agree with Jen about the foundation shade suggestions. My skin tone is very similar to Jen's and I've definitely experienced what the person who asked the question has experienced in terms of foundations reading grey or yellow or just totally washed out. One of my favorite "hacks" (if you will) is that I have a tube of the Wet n' Wild Tinted Hydrator in medium (which is WAY too deep for me on it's own) but it's perfect for deepening/warming up other complexion products. It's great for helping my favorite complexion products match my tone going into summer when my skin tone will deepen as I spend more time in the sun and then lighten up again as we move into fall. It's VERY forgiving and I've mixed it with a bunch of different things very successfully. I just mix in a small amount on my hand with the foundation/BB cream/CC cream I'm going to use (I like the Missha one Jen also mentioned as well as the Purito one, or that WnW Tinted Hydrator) until I get the level of warmth or depth of tone that I'm looking for. Hope that helps!
People are so weird. Who the hell cares if your eyebrows are uneven? (Can't say I've ever noticed FWIW) Mine aren't either and I do what I can to create the illusion of more balance with my brow products but it's never going to be perfect. And I just try to remember what Robert Welsh says about brows: they should look like siblings, not twins.
SO many good recommendations Jen! Love this series!
Great job! Thank you for this video
Fabulous video💕
Hey Jen! Talk about underrated makeup...the Profusion Desert Sage eyeshadow palette (the one shaped like a succulent plant) is on clearance at my local WalMart for $3.25, and its companion snake print zip pouch with the three brushes is now $2.50! I remember wanting these items when you first showed them awhile back, and I still want those blues and greens in the palette. Even though I spoiled myself with the new Nabla shadow kit immediately when you showed it a few weeks ago, the Profusion sets stayed with me so I've made room for more...just glad these are makeup items and not new kittens, or shoes at Nordstrom, or another Brahmin bag, or...Anyway, love this video, and thanks for your energy! You look beautiful today, as always, but that color sweater should be named for you! PS since we are into Summer, I'm always looking for *new tinted lip balms with reliable SPF higher than 15.* I know about Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balms, and I can always put on clear SPF balms, but I'd really like *more color choices.* I've used some by SunBum, but they taste like burnt plastic. Can you recommend others?
Jen you don't need botox or fillers. You are very pretty and look young. Ignore the negative ppl. We all should be lifting each other up. I have a friend who got Botox and regretted it. Her eyes drooped after being told wouldnt happen. Just always block those who are negative.
What a fantastic video! It was chock full of so much information. I enjoy; that’s probably why I watch them. Having your subscribers ask you questions was an excellent idea.
I have been on vacation, and been traveling for the past month, so I am a bit behind in watching all your content. I will catch up once I return home.
The Beauty Pie information was so helpful, as the Indie eyeshadow to try.
Don’t do Botox just to have your eyebrows look even. I didn’t even notice the difference until you shared that information with us. If you want to try Botox for other reasons, then feel free. I don’t think you need any Botox or fillers. Your skin looks amazing.
Have a great weekend 💕.
Have a great memorial weekend! You are doing great with the questions
The foundation in your moisturizer is genius! 🤯 I can't wait up try tomorrow. I usually use the sally Hansen airbrush legs spray makeup! Lol!
I used to use the Sally Hansen also but it sometimes comes out uneven and it has some shimmer. This is easier to control for me!
You are GORGEOUS Jen! I love your videos. You are amazing. Some people are just haters so don’t mind them. ❤️❤️
Great video! And thank you for answering my question too, awesome! 🌹
Hi, Jen! Happy Sunday!
I just ran out of my missha bb cream and I really miss it it’s perfect
I have exceptionally dry skin. I have spent many years perfecting my tanning. To be fair I only have to look at the sun and I go brown, regardless of the spf I wear! That said, all I do is use exfoliating gloves in the shower, have a good scrub (not to hard obviously!) then i put a rich moisturiser on my knees, feet, elbows, knuckles etc etc. then I buff in my tan with a mit in circular motions on all the other areas of my body, then I simply glide very gently over the knees, elbows etc etc with what’s left on the mitt after doing that area. So it only gets a tiny amount of the tanner on that part. This preventing it developing deeper than the rest and looking patchy and awful. I now do my daughter, a few of her friends and my family too because usually I don’t get streaks or patchy areas. I love the bondi sands mouses, the st tropi (sorry can’t spell it lol) and one o found in my drugstore that had different undertones but it’s a Superdrug one so probably not available in the US.
I really enjoy your videos Jen😍 I think one of the reasons why Nars has fallen off the radar is because they’re no longer cruelty free🧐Not sure if that helped their business much! Hoping that they will go cruelty free again, as I always enjoyed their products!
