As a beauty consumer I appreciate all of the hard work and effort you put into your dupe videos. I enjoy luxury, high-end, mid-range and drugstore makeup but I always enjoy saving money 💰 even more! Thank you for recommending budget friendly beauty options that are equally beautiful and in some cases better than the original!
When it comes to dupes, you certainly don't disappoint. (These were so good.) I'm glad you spoke of the markup of makeup. It reminds me of the "pink tax" on razors and other items. Companies know women will buy something pretty so they mark it up. Thanks, Jen. Blessings!
@@bertkesurf Imagine if you lived in a poor African country and had to walk for miles to find water - then walk miles back and had to boil it to drink it. Feminine hygiene products are probably not even readily available in some areas.
Bh Cosmetics has a supreme formula. I have probably owned well over 100 eyeshadow palettes by this point, from all different brands, both high end and drugstore, and it is my favorite formula, hands down. The formula is so easy to blend, highly pigmented, no crazy fall out and applies smoothly to my late 40s eyelids. I love it! I really hope whoever took control of the company will continue the excellent quality.
Jen this video is a perfect example of why I trust you implicitly. Despite getting PR from a luxury brand (Merit), you were still honest about finding a drugstore dupe for them. If I were an influencer I would worry about being dropped from the PR list but you don't seem to mind one way or the other, you just want to be honest with your audience. I commend you for putting us ahead of money and PR always. You're one of a kind girlfriend. 💖💖💐💐
The Lost In Las Angeles palette is SO on trend for this spring! It seems to be a similar vibe to the new ND palette and the Hindash palettes and those are WAY more expensive! I'm so happy to have this one! It is surprisingly wearable!
I’m so happy you have rescued your Lost in LA palette! I love it and heart broke when I saw you had decluttered it! Im of the ones that is waiting for the comparison with the ND Pastel palette!! You are the queen of dupes!
Thanks for taking the time to put this together! I can barely afford the ultra - cheap brands like wet & wild and can't even consider something like Dior or Tillbury. That's why I appreciate channels like yours for showing us which lower priced makeup products are worth buying. I'm new to your channel and look forward to more great stuff from you.
The bh la palette, I don’t do full eye looks with it much but I keep it around because the pastels are perfect for using to blend out shades with. Like if I do a purple eye look, I can use the purple or pink in BH to blend it out, or if I use green eyeshadow I can use the minty green in BH to blend it out. It just is great for that!
I started watching Jen a month ago. What I love is her lighting. It's very natural and I get a very good concept of the true product consistency. I'm never a blush gal because it makes me look rashy or hyper pigmented, but I tried her recommendation of Wet & Wild Peach Bums and... WOW! I can't stop using it and it makes my skin look so radiant and less cakey and powdery. Thank you Jen for sharing your knowledge on cosmetics!
I've made 2 Shein/Sheglam orders and have been very pleased with my purchases! Everything also arrived in pristine condition and very nicely protected (foam sleeves around the eyeshadow palettes) despite coming in shipping bags (vs boxes).
OK, I'm doing it - between Jen and Zabrena, I've clearly got to give SheGlam a try! Just over there putting things in my cart and the mascara is actually only $5! The link Jen shared is for a TWO pack! As the Thrive mascara is my go-to daily mascara as well, I just have to try that dupe. Jen, thank you for always giving such thorough reviews and really detailing the differences in your dupes - beyond just showing similar colors or similar tones or whatever, you are so good about giving that extra context about texture, application, wear time, etc. Those things matter! And really, at least for me, they matter more than the shade so I really, really appreciate it.
Hello there Jen! Girl, thanks so much for the shout out! I'm so excited that you feel like the Revlon Primer is a dupe for Hourglass. Now I'm off to shop some of these dupes! Great video my friend!
I have that blush from undone beauty & it is beautiful. The shade Dahlia is also beautiful. I've been trying so many products from undone beauty this past year & I'm truly loving them all.
Hey Jen! Happy Sunday! Love today's video! I've recently been exploring cream blush options - at your urging - so this is perfect timing! I love the Undone Beauty Lip to Cheek product; I found one on a clearance shelf at Target. The Berry color, which is much brighter than anything I've ever worn. But I discovered it's actually the perfect shade on top of tinted sunBLOCK but under my loose mineral powder or BB/CC cream foundation/base schemes. And it lasts like no other blush I've ever tried! When I've bought powder blushes before, I've always been drawn to rosy or tawny/peachy tones which are so totally wrong for my fair/cool skin. I've finally decided that trying to hide rosacea isn't doing me any favors, but that Berry pink color is a perfect segue into that which I can't change: my rosacea patches are lower on the cheek than where I apply blush. I try to keep my blush above the bottom of my nose, and outside the pupils of my eyes. A smaller part of my face, but it still has fairly smooth skin so I don't worry about blush cream migrating into whatever lines are there. I dab it on with my fingers and blend it out with a domed stipple brush. It is beautiful! And it provides a little lift if I fade it out onto my temples with just a hint! So, hey thanks for the recommendations, my 62-year-old cheeks have never looked so happy! Oh, and the $3.60 clearance price was quite enticing, even though it means my Target won't be stocking the Undone line anymore! l'm going to love finding the product line elsewhere, and I plan to get the Poppy color next. So thanks so very much for a needed nudge! PS: Thank you also for shedding a little light on the SheGlam/Shein products controversy. It seems their blush stick with the built in brush is also duping Makeup by Mario! Another super expensive option which I won't be buying...but the SheGlam looks great! Thanks again!
I just discovered you, and I love watching your videos! We are close in age and have the same complexion: pink undertones, fair, blue eyes. Thank you for your reviews, I truly appreciate your takes on different products and I enjoy finding out about new hidden gems and dupes!
Hi sweetie, you are bang on the money with CT / BP dupe, there are a few other dupes - the eyeliner gel pencils for instance are exactly the same, manufactured in the same country etc. I'm so relieved i'm not imagining it. The BP 9 pan shadow is a teenie bit powdery but beautiful all the same definately worth the money. Thank you Jen i absolutely love your videos. X
Comparison swatches are so helpful for really judging color. Sometimes a color will look very different in isolation, but once you compare it to other shades in the same color family you can better judge the subtleties of how warm/cool, light/bright, dark/muted it is comparatively. Not to mention how different some shadows & blushes can look very different in the pan vs on the skin.
I just discovered BH cosmetics this year. (Hadn't been wearing much makeup for a few years) I am so sad that BH is basically gone. I bought a brush set (super nice and soft and love as much as my BK brushes) and found a highlighter palette and the Mrs. Bella eyeshadow at TJ Max and I wish I could get more. Such nice products.
Speaking of declutter - I hope you keep up the declutter series! I really like that series. And thank goodness you still had the BH Cosmetics palette waiting in the bin. Good timing!
I was thoroughly impressed on how similar the Retrograde palette and the Too Femme palette were. I have both and never noticed how close they are!! Now I wish I didn't get the Too Faced one lol! Happy Sunday, Jen!! 💜🖤
Thank you so much for the great dupes! And thank you for listing the prices! I will definitely be trying that Revlon primer and was happy to see they offer a mattifying version!

i have the tubing mascara from sheglam and love i bought the set they are $5 each so i got the lengthing and the percision for $10. you just have to add a couple of coats and they look great.
I’m really glad you mentioned the Too Faced compared to Huda. I hadn’t realized how similar they were until you pointed it out! I think the Huda palette is actually 50% off on their website now; I think it’s being discontinued.
Hi Jen . Off the topic.. but I'm loving your back round❤️. I'm not sure if you have any more Shein makeup palette but it would be nice to let your view see them w/ swatches. One of the new blushes Kaleidos has released with their Smokey Nostalgia collection (the Mono Blush line) is also a bubblegum pink - I wonder if that one is also close to the Dior blush! The name is P01 Dreamwalk. It's also not a drugstore price, but $18 is still a lot better than $39.

I have recently found a $12 tubing mascara that outshines the Thrive and gives volume. It’s the Half Caked Totally Tubular Mascara. You can pick what shape and kind of wand you want depending on what look you are going for. I first use the Realist wand to give fluffy volume and do a second coat with the Ultimate wand and it’s amazing. It also isn’t heavy like the Thrive and holds a curl much better for me.
Hello Jen I’ve ordered from Sheglam a few times now, after checking a few things such as you mention, and they do appear to check out. Many of the products are just fabulous, my few fails are the tubing mascaras and the brow pencils, everything else has been very good.
Where to begin??? First, the Huda Retrograde palette is half off at both Sephora and the Huda site so that is a great deal and it's a beautiful palette. SheGlam is awesome...I have several of the cream blushes that you showed in the video and their liquid blushes are amazing too. I also had a good experience with their prime balm. Have you tried the new Moira Cosmetics cream blushes? Just wondering how those dry down. Would love to see those in a video!
CColor has the galaxy palate which is what I have vs. Mercury retrograde. Anyways I love all of your videos especially these! You’ve saved me literally HUNDREDS of dollar over the past 5years. Nope I can day it’s a minimum of $1,000. Seriously. Thank you so very much for all you do!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💕🥰❤️🎊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Your hair looks so pretty today... I think Wet and Wild had a color called Fantastic Plastic that was a very close color to the Dior and Persona blushes.
The persona and Dior blush the shade reminds me of a blush I got on Amazon - OULAC Blush in the shade Believe for $6.99! I love the cool toned pink shade!
Thank you for such a nice review. I agree with you that as a review channel we do count on you to be a “library” of older palettes, so please don’t declutter too much. 🙏
Hi I love your dupes videos! I’m wondering if the Sephora collection powder blush in number 14 -over the moon ,would be a dupe for the Dior backstage blush in pink!?
Hi Jen! I know they are probably different, but I was wondering how close the Dior Blush and the new strawberry blush from Physicians Formula are? After the overspray is gone, the PF has such a pretty pink tone
Hi Jen. Have you found a good dupe for the new NARS summer unrated pallette? I may get it at the Sephora sale but would prefer a good dupe if you have a recommendation.
I just love how honest you are! For example, about the Beauty Pie quads that Clearly dupe the CT quads. Haha But since the quality is better, I may try it. I’ve resisted buying a CT quad because of the reviews for the price. The CT Smokey Eyes are Forever palette blew me away though,
please don’t feel bad about duping a PR gifted product, brands gift them so that influencers can talk about them. that means talk about them negatively as well, if the creator didn’t like the product. we appreciate your authenticity ❤️
Hey Jen. Don’t know if you’ll see this but I was going to pick up the urban decay palette specifically for the two shades I think in the bottom left. A very true cool tan brown and the light green that isn’t too yellow or blue. I can’t find anything like them. If you have any suggestions I would be grateful not to have to think about buying a mediocre palette for 2 shades. Lol.
you have the absolute BEST dupes!!! you have no idea how much i look forward to your sunday videos. i instantly went and bought the flower beauty highlighter wands last week after watching your video, along with a couple other goodies, and i can’t wait for my package to arrive. i loveeee every single one of my bh palettes and i will treasure them forever. 💖💖💖
The dior blush . I also heard from I think it was Rose & Ben on Instagram where I believe she was the one who found the dupe . If I remember correctly, the dupe for the dior blush that you mention in the video is : Essence Mosiac Blush 40 The berry connection 🙂 Thank you so much for these videos !!! Because of you, Allie Glines, Juicy Jas, Alex Anele, Andrea Matilano, Angelica Nyqvist, Heather Austin, Risa does Makeup , Mrs. Melisa , and so many more amazing beautiful ladies I learn so much & basically almost only have the dupes alternatives to high end brand makeup !!! my collection id say is more drugstore & drugstore dupes with a few high end products sprinkled in there 😁😊😊😊 You’re a lifesaver JEN !!! YOURE THE BEST OF THE BEST!! I’ll never get tired of saying it !! 🥰❤️✨🙂✨✨❤️
@@JenPhelps you’re so welcome !! Oh yes you should check it out !! I don’t have the dior one but I have the essence one & who’s gonna know ? lol like the Tik Toks say 😂 You’re my go to girl when it comes to ANY drugstore & drugstore dupes products !!! since im fair skin with pink undertone whenever you upload a video I practically stop what I’m doing & watch your videos !! 😊🥰🥰🥰✨✨❤️❤️
That Revlon primer is a huge fave (I have 2 on hand at all times lol). I’d heard it was a dupe for the Tatcha liquid silk canvas but didn’t have that to compare it but it was very smoothing and I loved it enough to use up one bottle of it. I’m on my second!
Yes I do still use the MoroccanOil mask...once every couple of weeks to refresh the color. 😊 I've also been using the John Frieda Midnight Brunette shampoo to keep my hair color fresh. Right before this video I tried the K18 treatment from Sephora...I got a little bottle of it to try. It's supposed to repair your hair and I really like it so far! ❤️
Love your dupes videos! Thank you so much for looking for less expensive options for high end makeup that honestly not everyone can afford. Have a great week! 🤗
I love all of your blush dupes! I think I need to try the Item dupe. It sounds silly, but I've been trying to find a matte color dupe for Wet n Wild's Nudist Society- the glitter in it just isn't for me. Maybe one of your recommendations here can get me closer!
Another fantastic Dupes video. So glad you hung on to your decluttering palettes!!! I just checked and the Ulta near me has the LA one, so I will pick it up tomorrow. I also love green palettes, due to my hazel eyes, so I plan to buy the Avocado Toast one. BH had great eye shadows; unfortunate that they sold out. Have a great week🌸
Ooo I wonder if the Scott Barnes blush palette (it is FANTASTIC btw) is also a dupe for the Dior, it is pricey but you get eight different options in the palette for about the same price as the Dior, and Persona, and the Scott Barnes palette has some unique shades that are stunning!! 🤩🤩
The clinique check pop has a similar one, it looks purple but looks cool tone pink on the cheeks.. 👍😊 Makeup revaluation has a marbles one that looks like the ohuer glass blush.
Thank you for researching Sheglam. I have been intrigued by their products and wasn’t sure whether to make a purchase. I think I will try something soon.
I have the Mercury Retrograde dupe and it is one of my most used palettes and I have many! I have hit pan on a few shades I use for transition. Formula and staying power is as good as some of the high end ones I have. I got a Two Faced palette at Christmas and it was really bad. I complained and got a refund. Love your videos. The dupe ones are so informative.

The packaging on those Merit lipsticks are beautiful.
I thought so too!
Hello Jen
I’ve ordered from Sheglam a few times now, after checking a few things such as you mention, and they do appear to check out.
Many of the products are just fabulous, my few fails are the tubing mascaras and the brow pencils, everything else has been very good.
Thanks for another great dupes video Jen! Always look forward to these:) Love your wonderful personality and spirit♥️
I haven't tried them yet but they just contacted me and are sending some new products in PR so I'm hoping it'll be those!!
Aw thank you Michelle! That makes me so happy to hear. 🥰🥰🥰 And yes I forgot about the CColor palette but that's an even more affordable dupe! :)
You’re so sweet too and I love your channel! Thanks for all you do!
You are have the very best product reviews! Very honest!!!! So appreciate the cheaper dupes!
Thank you for such a nice review. I agree with you that as a review channel we do count on you to be a “library” of older palettes, so please don’t declutter too much. 🙏
These are my favorite!!!! You always knock it out the park!
Jen I live the aesthetics of your videos
So glad that I found your channel.Have a great Sunday dears🌹
Fabulous delivery! So warm and conversational! Bravo!
Thank you for your help Paula! I'm glad it was better this time. :)
Love watching your dupe videos. Do u have a dupe for rare beauty eyeshadow primer?
I just bought the Avocado Toast. I love their formula and agree with everything you said about them and this pallet
I love dupes! Thank you Jen 💜
Wow Jen, thx for all these wonderfully affordable dupes❣️
Lol.
You saved me again! I have avocado toast and have been wanting the greens for that beautiful color story...that I am apparently drawn to 😆. Thank you!
you have the absolute BEST dupes!!! you have no idea how much i look forward to your sunday videos. i instantly went and bought the flower beauty highlighter wands last week after watching your video, along with a couple other goodies, and i can’t wait for my package to arrive. i loveeee every single one of my bh palettes and i will treasure them forever. 💖💖💖
Thank you so much for this video Jen. I love dupe videos and yours are really the best.
Your dupes are always so solid Jen! Amazing work always ❤️👏👏 best dupe videos on UA-cam
The dior blush . I also heard from I think it was Rose & Ben on Instagram where I believe she was the one who found the dupe . If I remember correctly, the dupe for the dior blush that you mention in the video is :
Essence Mosiac Blush 40 The berry connection
🙂
Thank you so much for these videos !!! Because of you, Allie Glines, Juicy Jas, Alex Anele, Andrea Matilano, Angelica Nyqvist, Heather Austin, Risa does Makeup , Mrs. Melisa , and so many more amazing beautiful ladies I learn so much & basically almost only have the dupes alternatives to high end brand makeup !!! my collection id say is more drugstore & drugstore dupes with a few high end products sprinkled in there 😁😊😊😊
You’re a lifesaver JEN !!! YOURE THE BEST OF THE BEST!! I’ll never get tired of saying it !! 🥰❤️✨🙂✨✨❤️
Aw thank you so much Mariella! I think I do have that Essence blush somewhere in my collection...I'll have to find it and see how close it is!
@@JenPhelps you’re so welcome !!
Oh yes you should check it out !! I don’t have the dior one but I have the essence one & who’s gonna know ? lol like the Tik Toks say 😂
You’re my go to girl when it comes to ANY drugstore & drugstore dupes products !!! since im fair skin with pink undertone whenever you upload a video I practically stop what I’m doing & watch your videos !! 😊🥰🥰🥰✨✨❤️❤️
That Revlon primer is a huge fave (I have 2 on hand at all times lol). I’d heard it was a dupe for the Tatcha liquid silk canvas but didn’t have that to compare it but it was very smoothing and I loved it enough to use up one bottle of it. I’m on my second!
Oh my gosh yes! It's very similar to that as well!
You make the best dupes videos! Thank you, Jen!
Thanks always wanted the ct one but would not dish that amount on a quad will be picking up one of those
Covergirl pink candy blush looks like it might be a dupe for the Dior too.
Hi Jen, your hair is looking amazing, do you still use moroccan oil depositing mask in cocoa? And what shampoo do you use? Love you ♥️
Yes I do still use the MoroccanOil mask...once every couple of weeks to refresh the color. 😊 I've also been using the John Frieda Midnight Brunette shampoo to keep my hair color fresh. Right before this video I tried the K18 treatment from Sephora...I got a little bottle of it to try. It's supposed to repair your hair and I really like it so far! ❤️
Thank you for all the kind words, Jen! You are so sweet 💗🥰 So happy you like Bubble, means a lot to us! 🙂
Super happy to see this today!
Yay!!! Thank you! So glad to see this pop up this morning!
Those Beauty Pie shadows look so amazing!!! 😍
I just bought that same sheglam products I can’t wait till it’s delivered. I seen such great reviews..
Thanks for making the comparison between the flower and merit lipsticks! I was the one who asked about that, I suspected they’d be pretty close, 🥰
Yes they really are! Thanks for the heads up on that. 😊
I think the BH Cosmetics Los Angeles palette may be a dupe for the new ND palette. Maybe??
The clinique check pop has a similar one, it looks purple but looks cool tone pink on the cheeks.. 👍😊
Makeup revaluation has a marbles one that looks like the ohuer glass blush.
Hi Jen. Is the elf putty bronzer in Shady a dupe for any cream contour? Thanks!
Thank you for researching Sheglam. I have been intrigued by their products and wasn’t sure whether to make a purchase. I think I will try something soon.
Excellent! Thanks, Jen!
I'm glad I have several bh eye pallettes and blush palletes.
Thank you for another great dupes video 💕
Hi Jen! Is the ABH Latte blush a “contour-like” cooler color? Thx!
It is cooler but it's a cool nude pink rather than a grayish contour color. It's actually very unique! 🥰
You do some of the best dupe videos. Thanks for all of the dupe finds and mini reviews 👍
That Mercury retrograde palette has been on sale everywhere for like 33 bucks. I don't know if it is still on sale but it was for a long time
Oh wow that's awesome!!
@@JenPhelps I still haven't bought it but I always think about it LOL it really looks so pretty
