As a Brit, of course we use proper dialect along with our copious amounts of tea. Jokes aside, I personally say Scone like you do. Until I've eaten it. Then 'sgone
Your fur babies are super cute! In the US we say scones not scon. When a kid is learning about vowels teachers use this trick to help them remember, (vowels say their name when the word ends with e).
Wow Tom sounded pretty irritated with your McDonalds craving. I can understand wanting someone to take it easy, but it is obviously something you enjoy out of the limited things you can drain. I say go for it!!!
I'm from Yorkshire in the UK and I've lived in the north all my life any I say it like "scon" my family call it that too, but everyone else pretty much say it like you Amy haha xx
Loving the longer vlogs, where I’m from we say scone as in bone not scon 😂 love how you said Pacific in the car I use to do that all the time lol! Glad your mum likes her gift too xx
A youtuber yesterday, Life With Stripes put up a video about a feeding tube "Free Arm" which is a small clip on pole that takes the place of an i.v. pole. it's smaller and portable, and you dont just have to use it for a feed but for fluids and other i.v. stuff. She even has a discount code. Maybe some of you would find it useful. She's not just on youtube she's also on instagram. She has eds and all the other chronic illnesses that go along with it.
Lol it’s how you say it here in the USA at least in Ohio and I believe in my new home NOrth Carolina lol I haven’t been out much since I moved down here to get questions answered for my health in December since holidays and such lol
It's definately scone with the e on the end! Think about how you pronounce the word 'stone', you wouldn't say it ston!! I'm from Manchester and we are always right!! 😉 xxx xxx
For me it’s scone as rhymes with gone I’m from North West UK. They say northern English and Scottish pronounce it as scone which rhymes with gone and the Midlands and Southern UK pronounce it scon as rhymes with cone.
in Australia it's pronounced SCON ! You're an Aussie now Amy get with it!!!! hahahaha and what we call scones are completely different to what Americans refer to when they say it
Never noticed before that i have the same type of ring splints as you do lol. Do you struggle with the ones on your dip joints catching on clothing etc and being pushed off as well? Mine are the right size but it keeps happening and i panic every time 😬 dont even want to know how many people on the busses i take have seen me desperately trying to find where it went and thought i was acting suspicious 😂
@@amyslife4457 on new years i had to go out and get on the ground to look for one of them under my grandpas car in the middle of the busy street he picked me up on! 😥 so emberassing! 🙁 couldn't find it at first so i had to hope it wasnt under one of the wheels as he backed the car up, but thankfully i found it!
To weigh in the debate....I'm with Tom! And we asked a lady who did devonshire tea's when I was over there and she said technically it IS how Tom (and I) pronounce it but there is little history to specifically argue in one direction, so maybe everyone is right??? xox
