Oh my god HOW IS TOM REAL?!? He calls to make sure you’re getting ready for the doctor and gets you to text him when you get there so he knows you’re safe.... THATS LOVE AND ITS SO DAMN CUTE....
I want to have a Tom one day in like ten years when I’ll be more than thirty and not scared of guys 😂😂
I know right, he's so nice! Some women nowadays would hate to have a guy always asking about them but not me!
It's actually normal, mature behaviour from a man who respects and appreciates his woman. It should be the norm, but isn't, unfortunatelly.
Toms Mcdonald's experience is something called 'paying it forward' a lot of people do it. Basically you do something for someone else in hopes of the recipient doing the same by 'paying it forward' it's just a nice little something to brighten someone else' day and spread positivity :)
I'm in Canada and worked at tim Horton's ( coffee shop) years ago and this was also very common here!
Tom is such a sweetheart calling to make sure your ok and asking to let him know you are there because you don't feel well. Feel better soon lovely 💜
For Tom's coffee... in the US, we call that paying it forward. It's just a random act of kindness and typically drivers keep it going forward and paying for the drivers behind them.
that little call from tom was so cute and sweet you two make me believe in love girl
The person who paid for Tom's order is just a random person. Its a world wide trend atm, to pay for people behind you. Its just a good deed of the day kind of thing :)
Tania M. I love paying it forward. If someone does it for me, I do my best to keep it going.
Also I love how your so positive about life with chronic illness..
I was waiting in line for my coffee at a local coffee drive through, and someone in front of me paid for my drink. They have a punch card where you buy ten and get one free. Now if I fill a card up, I typically gift the car behind me a free coffee. It made my day when it happened to me, so I hope to make someone else' day.
I hope you get to feeling better, Amy!
In the US we call it pay it foward. Tom was supposed to pay for the guy behind him and see how long they can keep it going.
I had someone pay for me and my boyfriends drink at Starbucks one time so we payed for the person behind us hoping it would make a chain reaction lol
Started following you about a month ago and still trying to catch up on old videos and keep up with new one. Its awesome following and seeing how you don't let you chronic illness stop you from living your life. And I would totally buy a hoodie with the phase "things that make you go hummm". I am all for supporting channels over anything else
Omg I’m so early!!!! thank you for bringing me joy when I’m not feeling physically well. 💙💙
Feel better soon. U are amazing. Sending lots of love and hugs xxx
I love this channel! It really helps me get through rough days ! Love you lots!!! ❤️
Amy you are so inspiring to me and all your viewers !! I hope you feel better soon, love you ❤️❤️
Hey Amy I hope they get better
Thanks for inspiring me and others you are amazing 💙
I really love your relationship it's so awesome to see people love each that way..
YES I would buy the "Things that make you go hmmm" Merch!! I was actually thinking you should make a shirt that said it that other day!! Cause Tom needa his own merch now also!!!
I love you both, what an incredible couple. You set such an example for young people and I am totally impressed!! You are in my daily prayers and I am hoping you are feeling better very soon sweetie‼️Love, hugs and many prayers to you from me♥️♥️♥️♥️
I love pay it forward moments. It’s so nice.
Hope you feel better soon!!
What I would give for support like you get. Mental illness (depression/anxiety) sick horribly and after a serious accident I got in 10 years back or so. Dying three times an getting brought back with brain damage isnt fun to deal with. Your very lucky Amy an I'm support glad you give such positive messages out in your videos. It definitely cheers me up some days.
I'm sorry to hear about that, but I hope you feel better as soon as possible lots of love from Jacinta
I really hope you feel a lot better soon. It must be hard to be sick in this hot weather. Sending you well wishes.
So sorry ur sick 🤕 pray u get better ♥️
It was a random act of kindness. It has happened to my daughter several times. She just pays it forward. I love when that happens!!
Aww amy hope you get better soon ❤️❤️
Hope you get better soon xx
Hope you get better from the infections soon! Keep cool! X
My mom and I will sometimes pay for the order behind us. Just paying it forward and hoping it brightens somebody's day!
Feel better soon! Sinus infections are awful!!!!!
Poor bunny :( I just wanna give you a hug! Hope you get to feeling better soon luv!
Hope you get feeling better soon 😘🙏 things that make you go hmmm merch would be awesome!
The car in front paying for your order happens alot here in Oklahoma 🇺🇸, usually at Starbucks. It has happened to me several times. It so sweet! It is to pay it forward and make someone's day.
Idk if it's only in the states, but after my sinus surgery, I've been using a mist form of nasal sterial solution along with my nasal spray that I use for my extreme allergies. The mist doesn't require anything from a doctor, just go to any store that carries general medical supplies. My team is currently working on my diagnosis, and I'm not sure how you'll react to it. However, I hope you get better soon! Good luck, with love from Vegas!
Amy get healthy soon! :D
Awww Tom calling to check on you in the beginning was too cute! ❤️ He's so loving and caring to you it's adorable. 🙏😄❤️You're very lucky!
I've never bought merch from a youtuber before but I recently bought one of your sweatshirts and it's so cozy! Would definitely buy more stuff!
Yes a vlog on things that make me go hmmmm merch!
The Fess Nasal Irrigation Kit from the pharmacy is good if you are looking for something other than using your sterile syringes. Ear, nose and throat are all connected so when you get an infection in one spot, it can also be present in the other adjoined parts. I hate ear, nose and throat stuff! Sinus infections are awful! Feel better soon Amy!
Sometimes when I go to the drive thru coffee stand I will give them like $10 or $20 extra to pay for the people behind me and then next till it's gone and you would be surprised how many times people will do it after someone does it for you.. It's just something nice to make someone's day better!!!
But I hope you are feeling better soon I am also sick with a cold and sore throat. I going to go to the doctor tomorrow cause I think I'm getting a sinus infection... Sending you lots of love from Oregon!!!
I also have hEDS, POTS,& MCAS. I just am getting over a bad double ear infection and sinus infection as well. I’m in the states where it’s been humid and cold. I get them frequent tho. Always wondered why. Then got my recent diagnosis. Love you channels. I need to find a Tom. Love how he is with you. He loves you so much.
I saw the thumbnail and i had to click. Ive had a sinus infection for 2 weeks and its starting to clear up now and the sinus washing is a life saver!!!
Ah, you and Tom’s relationship is so cute, wish I could find a guy as caring as him!
Can't wait for summer here. It was -3C here yesterday in the Northeast US. Tom should "pay it forward" next time he's in the drive thru. Feel better. Hugs.
I honestly love you and Tom so much!
Hey hon! We call those nasal washes here and they really do help. Every drug store here caries nasal irrigation kits. They have special saline packs to mix with water so it doesn’t burn. They also come with a special squirt bottle so you don’t have to stop and switch syringes. You can also use a Neti pot. You need to irrigate both nostrils separately and let it drain out of the other nostril or your mouth. It’s best done 2-3 times daily. You are doing great with everything and getting right in to the doctor as soon as you feel sick is very important. I was really glad it was just a sinus infection and not in your blood or line. Unfortunately, we can get line or blood infections despite even the most impeccable care. When that happens, we often are “fine” minute and on deaths door a few hours later. Often times, we’ve been getting “sick” weeks before this happens and don’t realize the early warning signs. The white blood cells in our blood do a great job killing bacteria in the blood, so what happens is that some of the bacteria that our white cells try to kill survive. They then slowly but surely reproduce until they build up enough bacteria to make us very sick. The early symptoms are very similar to things we deal with every day like utter exhaustion. You may feel like something is amiss but you’re not able to pin point the issue. You may run a low grade temp at night that comes and goes. Your whole body will be achy and hurt like when you have the flu. The biggest red flag symptom we get right before becoming very ill is a mild headache, severe nonstop shivering, and we get so cold that we have a purplish tone and can’t warm up. Shortly after that, full sepsis sets in and we find ourselves in a fight for our lives. You need to get to the ER right away. Er docs are trained to identify and treat the most common illnesses and sepsis is low on that list of things doctors commonly seen. They will assume you have a virus. You need to insist they do blood cultures immediately and don’t go until they do. If you are septic, the sooner they identify the bacteria the better your outcome will be. Keep up the awesome job you are doing!
Tom is so nice to call and make sure you're on your way to your appointment. Everyone needs a Tom in their lives. I hope you'll be feeling better soon. I use Kosher salt and warm water for nasal rinses and it helps so much. One day (in the future) you will be able to drive through McDonald's with a smile and fond memories.
Hope you feel better soon. I’ve had the flu for a week been in bed for days. God Bless
I already got my flu shot last week this month.
that's a totally normal thing that happens here in NL (canada) it's just someone being kind 💕
I am from nl Canada as well
Amy I always have sinus headaches, if you have a warm cup of tea just hold it to your cheeks right where it really hurts. It feels really nice and helps a lot for me. Xox
I always have chronic allergies related to cerebral palsy and autism since I was a little girl
I love your videos because they are so inspirational. Plus the love between you and Tom is wonderful to see. Sorry if you have already covered this but how much of your stomach is paralyzed? Hope you both have a great day. ❤️ from Canada.
poor Alfie :/ i love him, he’s a super sweet person
So massive yes to things that make you go mmmmmmmmmmm merch 👌🏻
In bars in Italy there exists "coffee on hold" (caffè sospeso), it's been around a long time for paying for a friend's consumption who frequents that bar but more recently it's used also in order to pay for a stranger in need
Paying it forward!! Very popular here in the states!
I absolutely love all of your videos Amy! You always make me smile. You and Tom are so cute together 😘❤😘❤😘❤😘❤
As others already mentioned, it was likely one of those "pay it forward" things so to try to keep it going, he would have paid for the car behind him and so on. I've never come across it in person though. But I have to manage my money so carefully that I'd probably just opt to pay for my own stuff and get skipped over in the "line".
Girrrlll Tom is a real one!!!!! You got the best fish out of the sea!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍 I hope you feel better...
Here in America, we have a thing called drive-through difference. It’s basically a random act of kindness where you pay for the car behind you.
Whew what an experience on the nose draining!
Get you a Nettie pot, I use one and use it with distilled water not tap water, it’s very easy and helps so much!!
Yes to "Things that make you go" 😍
“Thing that make you go hummmm” yesssss merch omg that would be amazing
After my turbinate reduction and sinus surgery I had to do nasal rinses several times a day for a good few months. The things that came out... GROSS! I still have to rinse from time to time. You can buy specific bottles and sachets of rinse to mix with pre boiled water.
It was such a relief when blood clots and scar tissue were involved!
Army u have a good boyfriend!! Hope you get feeling better.💙
People do that somewhat frequently here in the US. A lot of times you will hear about it happening at Starbucks. Usually then you will pay for the person behind you and just pass on the good deed for the day and hopefully lift their spirits.
For flushing you nose/sinus, I was told by my doctors to use warm sterile water and to do both sides. I had two surgeries on my tear ducts and I had to do it after both of them to flush out the blood
Amy I had sins us infection it's not nice hope u feel better soon 😷
Yes definitely do a things that make you go hmm merch I would definitely buy it 💜
I also loved the taste of antibiotics when I was wee. I got ill a lot so was like always on it xxx
This is my fourth comment good lord I’m sorry
Please don’t feel embarrassed about the maccas incident
I work at one in south Australia and I’m not kidding in any four hour shift we serve 100-300+ people... the only ones we remember are people that scream at us, give us death threats or actually are genuinely lovely to us. We will forget after ten minutes if someone has dropped a card in drive thru.
There are SO MANY people that stop their car. Get out and go into their boot to get their wallet... we forget the person that does that and they take AGES
You are safe girl. Trust me they won’t have remembered what happened 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I like the bubblegum flavored amoxicillin liquid. It’s really not too bad. And for whatever reason, doesn’t make me super sick like other antibiotics. I hope the sinus stuff clears up for you soon!
I love how they’re called “chemists” there instead of “pharmacists”.
Yessss do the things that make you go hmm merch
Yesss!!!! THING THAT MAKE ME GO HMMM merch!!!!!!!!
I had something like that a few months ago. It took 6 months for it to go away. A round of antibiotics later and I was starting to feel better.
I used to have my own sinuses infection so I was a little girl
Amy my love.. The guy was "Paying it forward". I haven't read any of your comments yet.. Maybe someone has already explained it. But, it's common out here in the States. Lol there is even a movie called 'Pay it forward'. Basically, in response to a person's kindness to oneself.. Is by being kind to someone else.👼
*The phrase is used as the opposite of payback: when someone does a good dead for you, instead of paying them back, pay it forward by doing a good deed for someone else.*😇
Lastly, all the good deeds are done inconspicuously.😘
I just love your volgs Amy! I will be sending you a little present here in the near future! You have touched my life.. And many others! You just don't know.. I'm so glad when you post. It's a joy to have you apart of my life.. And for you to share yours with me and others! Hope to get package sent, sooner than later! 💌🎁💝🇺🇸🇬🇧
I always have chronic allergies related to cerebral palsy and autism since I was a little girl
I’d definitely buy Things that make you go Hmmmmm. I’m a sinusitis sufferer Amy, mines been painful for about three weeks now, I really need to go to doctors. Hope you’re feeling better very soon 😀
tip nose freda works great on adults to best ever for removing stuff
using the right amount of cooking salt in the water makes the flushing easier. love your vlogs!
love your make-up
i love your new intro , your so beautiful, love you so much xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thank you 😊
Its common for children to have a ear infection when they get sinus infections. For your nose you can get a nedi pot but whatever you use to flush it make sure its distilled water/saline/sterile water. anything else can have other bacteria in it that will cause more infections.
Tom’s call was so freaking cute my goss ☺️
I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet but you are meant to irrigate your nasal cavities on both sides. Feel better soon!
If you make your own nasal rinse with boiled water, I think you use mixture of table salt and baking soda so it doesn't burn.
Ouch that looks painful!!!
Yes pleeeease release things that make you go hmmm merch hahaha that would be great
Use a netipot. It's a lifesaver
Here in America people like to buy the next person's order as a nice gesture! Its really very common here :) most people pay it foward if they are able!
Love the vlogs! Can I ask what size in the jumper you wear? :) x
Ella Wishart it’s a Small ❤️❤️❤️
Drug store will sell sinus rinses. I use mine every day for the past 4 years. They are amazing for sinus infection, I’ll add a tiny bit of colodal silver when I have an infection and it’ll go away within 2 days so I don’t have to go on antibiotics
Love the hoodie you had on amy I would buy toms and your merch you and Tom are such a cute couple 💖💙
You should do both sides to flush each nasal cavity.
it's a very American thing to do. It's a "paying it forward" type deal and often people will pay for the next person's food in line at a restaurant/take away etc.
I think it was a lovely kindness by a random stranger and you guys shd do the same and pay it fwd too!
I use a saline solution myself which is the safest form. If people use tap water that has not been sterilized at the very least bacteria can form, though I am sure you use saline, Amy.
Yes 👍I would love things that make you go hmmmm t-shirt 👕and other things too. Sorry you are having a hard time with infections. Please get better soon. Love your boyfriend, he is the real deal. 👌 keep it up Tom!
I love you guy's I watch as soon as I get a notification I am in the UNITED STATES of AMERICA xoxo
