Dude one of them forced me to play Boswer and I kicked his ass, annoying asf, but min min, Isabelle, Zelda, Bayo, and steve are so dam annoying along with mii swordfighter.

most ult top tiers just arent fun to watch and its the "underdog" factor that makes low-mid tiers more interesting in opposition to the stale top tier gameplay
@@packun_jonk3276 i get that 100% and i agree the top tiers are super lame. i’m more of a high tier/low end of top tier enjoyer. i just think that when characters are stronger it’s usually because they have more they can do and it makes the gameplay way more interesting. low and mid tiers are usually just fishing for certain setups and nothing else and they’re essentially just bad versions of sonic, g&w, steve type game plans. the more “honest” best characters are usually just overwhelming you with tech skill and quick decision making like diddy, roy, peach, joker. they make for the best gameplay imo
@@coolshirtkid Id agree that the low top tier to high tier characters are *generally* more fun to watch and it is more fun seeing them typically.
Low to mid tier characters can sometimes be hype mainly just by seeing these mad to mid characters be hyper optimized and win "impossible" mus, as well as how little you actually see them. but low/mid tier =/= hype for sure.
That being said watching chunkykong hit ding dong 8 times a set does get boring the same way as seeing rob gyro combos is, tho not to the same extent imo

@@SantiagoMorenoSanchez it's not just that his nair is frame 3, huge, combo starter, extender, finisher, kill move, and can clank. His egg can confirm fair spike 2-frames. His dair does over 30%. down b is a shield break safe on parry because of the stars. he has the second highest double jump in game and the best air drift in the game.

She def has some cheesy shit but people are so adamant about learning the matchup, it’s crazy. Shield a lot, spot dodge grab, take every advantage state as far as you can since her answers are limited, approach in her blind spots if possible

Good characters who are annoying aren't really toxic because they're just pressing buttons on you and having better moves. That's just tier list and skill shit.
No toxic is about being able to choose to play the character in a way that's cruel and makes you feel bad and dunks on you. Mostly this is actually the low tiers because they have the big stupid moves that make you feel like an idiot when you get hit.
DK is toxic. DDD. Ganon is super toxic. Steve joins the list because of how stupid all of his moves look and how many traps he can set while doing it and of course he used to have the MEAT when he beat you. Or he can build an L or an F mid match and forward smash you.
But mostly it's the low tiers. They're the toxic characters.

Joker beats you in neutral. Does a combo. drags down and takes your stock. Sheik spams combo starters gets you off stage and edge guards you. Pikachu bair chains you to the blast zone. These things are toxic? No. It's just a good character using their kit to win.
Ganon hits you with a reverse war lock punch after breaking your shield and t bagging. DK hits you with giant punch and then taunts with the who up taunt. DDD literally smirks at the camera in a crouch animation after killing you. This is toxic. Because big slow stupid moves are supposed to be avoidable so people who pick these characters and go for this shit are trying to get in your head and embarrass you. No one is embarrassed by getting spin dashed into forward aired by Sonic, it's just a normal kill confirm that there's not much you can do to avoid especially if the player is good.

I feel like what’s toxic is when you can’t play your game. Sonic, G&W, Steve, and Min min all force you to play their game which I think is more “cruel.” Low tier heavies often have to play the opponent’s game which makes them bad but it doesn’t make them unfair or cruel. If you lose to them while playing a better character, they beat you at your own game.

Most toxic characters from the two best versions:
64: Yoshi and Jigglypuff (their down aerials are devastating, mixed with Jigs Rest Crit its just disgusting - these moves were rightfully nerfed into oblivion)
Ultimate: Palutena (just a stupid button mashing character that rewards lack of skill)
Palutenas mashing is far more limited compared to characters like Pikachu, game and watch, and young link

While other characters are toxic because they get to decide how the game is played. Sonic gets to choose if you're even allowed to play the game to begin with.
