And dave can make a joke about the hardest things in life and make you end up laughing at that pain which, to me, is the ultimate in comedy. "Laughter is the best medicine". As for his current situation with the trans community, it's unfortunate. I thought The Closer was less (possibly, if you take yourself very seriously) "offensive" than Sticks and Stones but I guess I thought WRONG. I thought it was more of a joke on himself for being somewhat transphobic than on trans people. But hey, I'm not trans so I can't speak for their community. Just for what I felt the comedians intent was and I felt Dave has good will for the alphabet community under all his preconceived feelings about them before he met people like Daphne. I guess the trans community has just faced so much hate that they cant take any joke...but I thought the only people society hates more than trans people would be addicts, especially "hard" drug addicts, and like I said this was funny to me.
