Ahh perfect, it’s morning time here in Los Angeles..That means Coffee & High Adventure 👌🏼👍🏼
Wait, you're leaving out whole chicken in the same waters someone from your last video confirmed is gator-infested? You're a much braver man than me, and I'm glad it worked out!
BUT we've never seen them, & MICAH HAV would've mentioned it. Surely?
More likely 'tealeaf' (thieves) infested water!
Every time he stuck his arm out it was like a thriller movie, waiting for the river monster to come out of no where! So glad it ended well..thoroughly enjoyed the video. He looked like a happy young man. Well done 👏 😋
Even if it were gators there it ok. I live in Louisiana where they do this in infested waters never heard of an attack while checking crawfish traps.
That was hilarious and incredible not surprised by this I have heard of people doing things like this before amazing video as always I can't wait for the next one
I loved this video! One of my all time favorites. The chicken on a stick is so hilariously cool. And the little chicken intro was funny. How creative Micah! More please.......
You always have a way of bringing a laugh to my soul. 😂
Fished the blue crab under bridegs in the bayous near Galveston using chicken legs on a string. Got piles of them in no time. Yes they are very sweet. Aunt made crab cakes from them
The intro was probably the best intro I’ve ever seen
The amount of money you spend on chicken 🐓 was the same amount of money your could’ve paid for the crabs 🦀
Very rarely do I laugh out loud at a video, your chicken dance got me good. Needed a laugh after a hard day, thank you.
Thanks for letting the one claw and almost go to get bigger during matting the male and female let go was a super nice thing to do for the species of the blue crabs 👍🐊🌴
Amazing video!!! Never gets old and always gives me another laugh!!! I absolutely love that Tarzan chicken intro! It’s the funny mix ups like this that make me really enjoy all of your videos!
He’s so unique in the UA-cam fishing community. Love it. Easily my favorite videos to watch.
I’ve noticed you catching and cooking more blue crab recently and all I have to say is… come to maryland. Nobody does blue crab 🦀 or crab cakes better than Maryland
Gotta love the adhd high adventures😂🔥☝🏼
Love your vids, I live on Chesapeake bay, for I hunt crab, fish trapped,, tonged for oysters all of my life and this is a cool thing to see. Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC.
Watching the Crab's come to the bate was cool 😎👍🇺🇸
Micah, I manage a bait production shop here in Washington and I can 100% tell you that the fresher the bait the better it works. You want bait with smell for sure, but not bait the is stinky and going bad. Its a common misconception. Fresh bait that is oily or very natural strong scent but FRESH is the best. I also suggest using a multi bait setup. Like grind up fresh oily fish and freeze it in a freezer bag (we make them into pucks at work in plastic soup cups then vacuum seal the puck in a bag) then poke holes in the bag (while frozen) put that hanging from the top of your pot and that is basicallyfor the scent and to attract them. But then put like a fresh fish head or whole fish in there for them to munch on so they stay in your pot. Works awesome. Cans of mackerel with holes poked in it works well too.
This is very interesting thank you! Appreciate the insight and confirms what I’ve thought for a while now
@@HighAdventureVideos i mean but really you had ZERO problems getting a haul. And I think what you did wasn't rotten or bad bait. Just left them out long enough for the oils to get going. Just thought I'd offer the info.
@@HighAdventureVideos and I re read my comment and I hope it didn't come off rude or condescending. I absolutely didn't mean it that way. There are many ways to skin a cat. I binge watch older videos of yours and Asa's between your posts because they are so awesome I can't get enough haha. I just go back to much older ones so they are less fresh in my brain. Lol like watching an old great movie.
Keep up the amazing content man!
Intro was soo funny 😂😂😂
That crab kit was uncalled for… go all in! Bare hands and teeth
Absolutely love this video keep up the good work and keep them coming 💯
Interesting Chicken Stationary Baiting Crab Netting experiment. I think using traps is still a better method. The long food Tongs are very effective for catching Crayfish, handling Crabs, Spiny Fishes etc! Good that you let the female and male crab couple go to propagate, that was the correct thing to do, way to go! I find using Sea Weed to layer store crabs in plastic buckets for sustaining, keeping the crabs alive for the long journey home. Nice to Lobster&Crab excavating Tool set! I use Chop Sticks for excavating the meat out of; Crabs, Crayfish and Lobster.
Wishing you safe adventures and journeys!
Great catch Mike. Happy to see your cooking skills getting better, butter is the way to go. I wish I had some fresh crab.
For the cost of 5 chickens in this inflationary economy, you could have purchased 3 dozen crabs.
Yo, Micah! Sending love from Trinidad. Your videos are the best, keep it up.
These shorter videos are the best!
Good show n idea bra,but at first I thought they were gona be gator 🐊 bait!😂..👊🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲one love bra..

That was a crab smack down Bro.... The chicken didn't disappoint 🐥
The chicken talk was awesome and hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂
For me, in connecticut, the crabbing season hasn't been that great, less crabs and most are under 5 inches. I don't think i've seen a six incher all season. But there's always next season!
😂 I'll give you a thumbs up just for the chicken dance
Great stuff Micah!
At first I was like 🙄… but the opera singing chicken got me 😂😂
Hey micah, great day crabbing ,I grew up on the coast of Connecticut and we used to go crabbing at night with big lights connected to batteries and we used to get loads of blue crab, maybe you could do a video of night crabbing, that would be awesome,I also one day fought a 10 inch softball crab, that was my biggest softball and it tasted great, good luck to you and ace and me antient
Very cool content Micah! Thanks for the tips
That chicken has a beautiful singing voice
Another banger, awesome!
In Rhode Island my family has always used chicken. It works great for blue crabs!
Born is Houston, Texas. Parents are from Galveston, Texas.
Our definition of stinky was putting the chicken outside in a 5 gallon bucket say maybe a week ahead of time. This lid is on it. When you open that bucket and it makes you gag, that's when you know it's ready. Calls them like Southwestern Bell used to.
Lovin the videos man just makes my day every time‼️🙏
All those big beautiful blue crabs thrown in boiling water….I’ll never understand boiling over steaming…yes I’m a Marylander. Lol great catch !!!!
Dang Micah... you didn’t even take the chickens out to dinner first...
Micah, we used to tie a leg of chicken on a string to the side of the boat. you slowly pull up the leg and the crab will not let go, but instead come up for you to net them. if you have a party barge (pontoon boat) you can drop six or 8 legs at a time and just run them until you have enough.
"You are what you eat"
Micah's sorta turning into a crab himself with those tongs ngl
I comment awhile back saying trout again….. since that was all that was always on the menu. so glad that the catch and cooks are so diverse now. Keep up the good work content is great 👌
They look so good!!!
Hilarious start 🤣🤣🤣🤣💥🔥
Beautiful video of catching crabs with a chicken traps.Keep catching, cooking and smiling.

Lmfao love the intro bro😂😂😂😂
My mom and dads birth place was Georgetown SC. My mom talked about crabbing when she was younger. I love crab. ❤
Dude that crab and lobster tool set looks legit nice looking tools
Ok, so beautiful crab 🦀
Lmao the first 30 seconds 😂
Great 👍🏾 vid..... Hungry now THANKS
Hey Micah, think about this. If Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Buckwheat were a couple, and had a kid, would his name be “Kareem of Wheat?”
My friend, you are living this old man's dream haha.
Nice video bro❤... I love the introduction part 🤣🤣🤣
Love hunting and fishing. Show respect, thanks, and appreciation for animals. I never got past the chicken dance.
MICA FOR PRESIDENT 2024! Now send me some 🦀 🤣😂
That was the best intro I've ever seen
Well this brings a whole new meaning to playing with your food
I wanna go crab fishing but never know where to go or how to do it thank you for this by the way I'm in south Carolina too
The toadfish color scheme is beautiful!
Words cannot describe how much I miss catching/eating blue claw crabs 😢
Amazing 🦀🦀🦀🦀 catching 👍🏽
Hey Micah, it's me again, hey if you ever go crabbing at night bring a good spotlight, and try to go in coves on the inside of bridges, that should produce the most crabs.
That singing 😂😂🐔
Nice video. Looked mighty tasty from up here in the midwest.
The poultry of high adventure. Lol
Please post more often
Love your vids
I love this job
I subbed because the chicken looking for a fight was hilarious.
Old Bay and blue crabs 👍 yummy 😋
Dude. You got my mouth watering.
It seems counter productive spending that much on chicken just to catch some crabs. I understand crab meat does cost more but I also understand this isn't about the most economical way to catch crabs, but rather showing an idea you came up with. Cost is just one of the first things that come to mind for me being a frugal person.
If I'm hunting or fishing it's more than likely as a sustainable food source that cost me only what it takes to catch it. The enjoyment is a bonus!!
The entertainment aspect of your video is still amazing and enjoyable so no shade thrown! Just offering up throughts and opinions. keep up the good work!!
16:31 precise measurements going on right there….. 👏 👏👏
The chicken made me laugh and that deserved a thumbs up
Mom: “don’t play with your food”
Me: *the entire start of this video*
Best crab meat dip, in my opinion, is Ketchup mixed with about 2 tablespoons of vinegar. Good video, man.
“Pardon me, chicken” 😂
I like your channel bro you were born to do this thanks
Next time, grab them right at the top joint of the rear paddle legs, they can't reach you from there. -Tip from someone who catches and eats 100+ dozen blues a year in Louisiana. Our regulations are fairly relaxed as well, no real size limit for recreational, just can't keep females during a certain time of the year as well as most places are 12doz per vehicle per day.
What a great idea.. you are having way too much fun dude.. 🙃
Total JO introduction!!!! AH Mike!
Awesome video
You are going crazy man. Time for a cook off with your bro and ancient. 👍👍👍👍🙏
