- Princess Ashraf Pahlavi was a strong supporter of women's rights in Iran and the world during her brother's reign. In 1967, Pahlavi worked with the United Nations as the Iranian delegate to the Commission on Human Rights as well as the Economic and Social Council. In 1975, she was heavily involved with the International Women's Year and addressed the United Nations.

Not at all...Iran.or Persia has a millenary civilisation and his reign was certainly not the brightest...He was a western puppet placed there by Britain and USA to pomp Iran's Oil and Gaz....and people were poor and neglected during his reign....His prime minister Mohammad Musaddiq who was his opposant did nationalize oil and gaz therefore he put him in jail as his western masters told him....I don't think yu would like a sovereign who work for other countries interest.....
Westerns know nothing about Iran nor its great History but some standard lies spread here and there by western medias for political reasons
The Pahlavi family had some fabulous jewels/ jewelry
They sucked the average Iranian of their wealth

Where are the jewels now?
hi maam seen hahha. The collection is housed in the Treasury of National Jewels, situated in the Central Bank of Iran, or auctioned off.

@@cynthiaq1073 Most likely the jewels that were auctioned were her personal properties and the ones she wore for the coronation of her brother were most likely the ones belong to the State of Iran. The Shah and his family did not take any national treasures belonging to the State of Iran with them into exile. It is the similar case in today's most European monarchies even here in Britain. There are jewels that are personal properties of the monarchs and jewels that are properties of the states to which are available for the monarchs to use. In the event of the abolition of the monarchy, the state jewels will be kept in the national museum while the personal jewels will definitely be taken away by their proper owners of the royal family.
Not sure if that is true they are still in Iran. She fled the country and must have taken most of her jewels with her.
