If the shah could have predicted the future, would have had never divorced the beautiful and charming Soraya. Time spares no one at the end a king and a peasant must die. Even the diamonds are not forever.

For dragging the old conservative country into the modern world, where even women were allowed to think for themselves... Then Bijan driver came up with a will that Bijan had left all his wealth to him, since then there is long legal battle in German courts by Soraya & Bijan relatives disputing the Driver claims, Relatives could win in some cases, not finalised yet!!

No FawZia of Egypt did find happiness after her divorce....she married an Egyptian officer....they loved eachother and they accompanied eachother to the rest of their lives and had children....she did had a quiet life in Alexandria and visited regularly her first daughter with Shah in Switzerland
Why Arabic? They are Iranian or Persian, their language is farsi and it's different from Arabic! You should know that before you put a film like this together!
Because in English the book is known under the title the Arabian Nights but lots of its stories set in Persia. If you listen the narrator he never says that Iran is Arabic, he only compares the story of Soraya with the book , which has this title.
