I agree that megas shouldn't even be brought up. When multiple entries are based off of their mega, which we don't have access to in gen 8, it feels like wasted placements.
I’m noticing some inconsistencies with your videos mystic. In some of your top 10 strongest of a type videos you included Pokémon because of their mega evolutions. But in some you mentioned how you were not gonna include mega evolutions. Then I’m seeing you include some mega evolutions in like this list and the fully evolved Pokémon list. AND, in this video particularly I’m just confused how torkoal is simultaneously one of the worst fire types (according to you) as well as one of the strongest Pokémon that don’t evolve. You also didn’t include skarmory or heracross which was disrespectful asfffff
@@spogeti2804 Nah I like Lapras tbh. I used one in Let’s Go Pikachu and he was a big help against Giovanni and Lance. So a useful team member for the later on in the game, and it is obtainable in the latter stages too so all the better. I agree on Heracross. I’m going to be playing HeartGold once I’ve finished Platinum on the DS, and Heracross is one of the Pokemon I’ll be using, along with Typhlosion. Still thinking on who else I could use though. Don’t know much about Sigilyph to comment, but I’ve heard good and bad things about it.
Mysticumbreon, with all due respect: this list seriously needs to be revised. A couple of pokemon you used their megas to warrant their placements on the list even though megas aren't probably going to be in any new mainline games. Also, there are also other choices like heracross and sigilyth who are beast to fight against who weren't included.
It's fine to consider megas since you can play past gens if you want, but it's strange to mix gen 7 and 8 stuff together like dual wingbeat mega aerodactyl
@@shenzhong3078 surprisingly, he can act as a decent special tank in sand. 80 base hp and 75 base special defense (113 in sand). Of course this doesn’t really match up well to other special tanks, but you could always give aerodactyl an assault vest.
@Muhammad Ali Imran definitely, but he does get a good amount of coverage, so if you wanted to take advantage of that without having to switch in and out, I would give him life orb.

What is the point of mentioning Mega Aerodactyl with Dual Wingbeat?? The two do not coexist in any game currently, as Dual Wingbeat was introduced in the Isle of Armor.
I really don’t feel like Pokémon with mega evolutions to justify their place in this list should be on it at all. Unfortunately mega evolutions are not in the most recent game and I don’t think we’ll see a return to them anytime soon if ever.
I know many of us didn’t enjoy Sword and Shield, but you’ve got to admit, they made some pretty great Pokemon. The starters I will be honest aren’t the best trio Game Freak has ever made, but Pokemon like Corviknight, Grimmsnarl, Toxtricity, Sandaconda, Dragapult, and even the awful looking fossil Pokemon, are all pretty decent and I personally found making a good team in Sword, easier than making a good team in Let’s Go Pikachu.
So you included MEGAs and pokemons off of your weakest lists but totally left out some of the most amazing non evolving pokemons like Skarmory and Lapras, Mons that are viable in competitive! It's all opinion based but the fact you contradict yourself so much is frustrating.
Megan’s shouldn’t be included on this list since they’re not currently available in the game so Mawile should not be here Aerodactyl and maybe Kanga can be on without their megas tho.

My Cursed Body Eviolite Corsola can tank Dracovish.. Cursed Body can disable Fishious Rend, and it will just leave a Choice Dracovish with Struggle. My Galarian Corsola can deal damage with Night Shade, Will-O-Wisp to cripple attack stat and trap Pokemon with Whirlpool..
I never understood these kind of lists. I hear a lot of: if he has this or this, or with this team or these moves"..torkoal is on this list, but is also on the worst fire type list. Why? It seems all so inconsistent and depending on wich move or whatever. Is there a difference being made for in game playing or competitive?
Well there is difference between in-game and competetive usability but mystic in list about strongest and weakest pokemons talks about competetive usability while in list about best pokemons/teams to use in certain game he talks about in-game usability
My best (non-legendary) team has 2 of these Pokemon, even though the team consists of 8 different Pokemon. Sceptile Mawile Kangaskan Gengar/Sirfetch'd Reuniclus/Gothitelle Snorlax
Megas need to stop even being brought up till they have them in games again. I don't care what can be done online, I want to hear what would be strongest if you were playing Sword and Shield official competitive. No megas there. So it really feels redundant to mention them at all. At that point, Legends might as well have been on the list since a fair few can actually be played in official competitive.
Okay, what the actual hell? Three of these pokemon were Megas. Megas are no longer in the game. Get out of gen 6 and into gen 8. Mega evolution for dynamax. You can't combined move pools with mechanics that are no longer in the game. That would be like saying if we had another gen 3 remake and randomly the physical/special spilt is no more.
