THIS IS FINE! Well yeah, obviously. Marowak's a ground type surrounded by fire. Cleary it would be fine. But it still sucks though so just enjoy the silly art and watch the video please.

Yeah...I TOTALLY meant to have the title say "Pokemom" instead of "Pokemon". It was all an elaborate scheme and you all FELL for it. Now that you've been PRANKED and I've achieved my VICTORY, I have changed the title. Let that be a lesson to you all! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Joke's on you I clicked on the video AFTER the title was changed!
Could you do a top list of which Pokemon need/deserve a Hisui form/evolution?
That's a fuckin' lie
Or is it... _illuminati music intensifies_
Haha
But for real, when the pokemom list? Hahaha
Fun fact : quagsire had a niche on each tier even in ubers
It is far for being among the worst
It's the best of worst. SOMEHOW.
Quagsire IS among the worst. The only reason it was in Ubers was because of the stupid dex cut and even more stupid Zacian-C. On its own, Quagsire is terrible. It was PU in gen 6, which is the tier where Chatot and Monferno are top tier threats
@@albabimam1114 yeah, but the sword and shield meta isn't the only one where Quagsire had a niche in Uber of all things. In basically almost any generation since its release, Quagsire has find itself in high tiers niche of one nature or the other
@@Muriuki34 only other gen is gen 4, afterwards, just use Gastrodon. The only place where Quagsire really fits in is stall (which is quite niche and terrible by itself; the exception being gen 7 UU) Just having niches isn't enough, or else you could argue that regular Charizard is amazing because it had a niche on sun teams as a powerful breaker
@@albabimam1114 Dude Quagsire had niche in every tier since gen 5 and it was PUBL in gen 6 UUBL in gen 7 and in gen 6 it was top threat in RU Tier in defensive side and guess which pokes where in gen 6 RU Braviary Diancie Rhyperior Aerodactyl and Venusaur and gen 7 UUBL there is Alakazam Mega Venusaur Mega gardevoir Mega Heracross gyarados latios Mega latios Alolan Ninetales Both Thundurus forms
Can we just take a minute to realise that rock does not resist bug
Wrong type dude
@@coleodonoghue2981 oopsie
Damn
And Rock should resist Bug and Ice
@@akumaking1 Bug is resisted by too many types already
Marawak and Quagsire are pretty good though. .
Especially Quagsire being able to wall Kyogre and other Uber Pokemon in Gen 8. . .
@@caddy776 I would love for FSG's Patreon to vote for a Quagsire Remake.
It would be wacky and fun. : D
Yeah Quagsure can work anywhere no matter how bad is stats are honestly.
No It sucks stop defending it
@@madhavipatil7466 Marowak or Quagsire? Honestly Quagsire is solid. Even with it's niche similar to Pyukumuku, it still a great mon to choose. Solid defensive typing, wide range of movepool, and a Pokemon that got toxic in it level up moveset in the exact same generation where the TM is removed
There are only 3 types left: Poison, Dragon, and Fairy. That means the streak is coming to an end. Imo, it’s more logical to end with the most powerful types, so I say do Poison next
so poison then fairy and lastly dragon
Agreed
For poison Garbodor, for Dragon Altaria & for Fairy Non-Galarian Mr. Mime
@@omarmendez0402 bro garbodor is pritty good overall in competitive
There’s actually gonna be an updated Bug-type list to make up for the previous debacle due to Venomoth being put on there.
That reasoning for Quagsire being here is just bad, sure it’s only good because of Unaware but who cares since it always uses it. It’s like saying Azumarill is bad because it’s only good because of huge power, just because a pokemon is good because of one reason that doesn’t make it bad it just explains why it’s good.
Shedinja is only good because of wonder guard.
Serperior is only good because contrary and yet it isn't on the worst grass type list similarly about gorilla tactics+choice scarf combo on galarian darmanitan and choice scarf+fishous rend+strong jaw combo on dracovish
True I feel like more research should of been done here not the first time he has put a Pokemon on a list it doesn't need to be there.
@@SonBlackHeart22 *cough* Manectric *cough* Venomoth
@@galvsparks6295 True
The reason why rock, steel and ground is a popular trio can be boiled down to one word: sandstorm
Yes and good mons of those types as well.
zarude used sandstorm
Quagsire is actually a pretty good pokemon. Ground/Water is an amazing typing since it is only weak to grass. Also you argument for unaware doesn't really hold up. Getting rid of unaware is so uncommon. Like really really uncommon. More often than not, the pokemon you are trying to check don't carry ways to get rid of Unaware at all. It has nieches in Ubers in multiple generations so it's far better than a lot of these ground types.
@@caddy776 Water Absorb is decent, but Quagsire's entire niche is defined by it's unaware ability
Funny how both Quaqsire and Whishcash, both Water/Ground types and not Gastrodon and Seismitoad. I mean honestly they're all good but some more than others.
@@akilcharles3473 I think Wiscash is probably the worse tbh. Like it does have that nice Dragon Dance, but Water-Ground is more defensive more than offensive. It's stats are also so mediocre that it would really struggle to Sweep even with the attack boosts. Also gets hard walled by most grass types since I belive it learns no physical ice moves to abuse
I feel like he needs to do a bit more research when it comes to these list cause some of placements feel a bit baffling at times. 🤔
@@sterling8389 Yep is not really good your better of using Quagsire.
Poison next, save the best ones for last
POISON is for fairies YOU FOOL!
Garbodor, Non-Galarian Weezing, Non- Alolan Muk & Arbok are the examples
@@omarmendez0402 Just say Weezing and Muk
Arbok :(
We’re doing (hopefully) Bug, Dragon, Fairy, and then Poison.
Agh! It hurts my heart to see Claydol on this list...
I know it’s not the best, but there’s just something about it that makes it one of my favorite gen 3 mon’s. I can’t explain it
Claydol deserves another good ability 💭
Had the same feeling haha
It actually was a major threat in Gen 3.
It needs buffs in stats and a new hidden ability honestly.
Honestly you should replace Quagsire with Camerupt. Quagsire’s type is one of the best in the game and gets set up moves like stockpile, toxic, Curse, Yawn and etc while Camerupt is a slow Pokémon with barely any bulk. Yes it has a mega evolution but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s still a bad Pokémon.
Oo that is very true. Camerupt is on the bottom tier of Megas in general, due to only being useful under trick room and/or sun(for solar beam). Base Camerupt is just a pokemon riddled with weaknesses
Which sucks cause I think Camerupt is such a fuckin good design.
@@sterling8389 RU is not too bad especially compared to not putting glaile in weakest ice I could pass abamasnow cause it was great in SM RU but glaile was SM NU Camerupt mega was SM NUBL
@@starmapping7848 that's cool that it's in RU, but it's still on the lower end of Megas. There's your Lucarios and Metagross and then there's the Audino and the Camerupt
Camerupt has Solid Rock and only 2 weaknesses. That’s what probably saved it from the Ground Side.
Quagsire is Amazing Thou!

Seeing Ground it's weaknesses are already done, that gives us two options.
1. we can reverse the flow and go with a type that's weak to Ground. Which would mean Poison is next.
2. Vote for a new typing and just roll with that.
The choice is ours.
We can do no.1
Eventually, we can keep the trend, but start it all over again, I mean, we go with dragon, then fairy, since it is supereffective and last but not least, poison
Poison then fairy then dragon to flip it
because they are the last types left
@@anythingsgoing We also need an updated Top 10 Weakest Bug-type list, due to the previous version being a debacle of having Venomoth in there. Mystic forgot that Venomoth was a behemoth.
@@jonahdengler3858 and normal type cause stantler
Sorry Mystic, but I really have to disagree with putting Quagsire on this list. That's one of those rare scenarios, where stats don't determine if the Pokémon is good or not. Quagsire is a strange creature, even tho it sits in low tier on Smogon, it has some usage in every other tier above, even if Pokémon have much better stats, it just does what Quagsire does best, it's an amazing stall Pokémon with access to Toxic, Protect, Recover and Scald, even moves like Stockpile, Curse, Liquidation or Earthquake are a really nice alternative. We don't have to say how game changing Unaware is by crushing other Pokémon's dreams about setting up on it. The typing is also incredible, having only one weakness is just perfect for Quagsire, even tho that's a 4 times weakness. That's why switching exists, you can simply pivot and keep Quagsire for later. I see your point with ability beeing able to be changed, but to be honest, that's a really rare scenario, especially in competitive battles. Worry Seed, Skill Swap, Entrainment, Wandering Spirit or Mummy, those aren't things we see often. Also yes, it is used only in one purpose, but why do we have to have a different role for Quagsire if it is a master in that one set anyways, even tho predictible, it is still unaware of what tier it really fights in.
It still is PU currently though, but I would probably bump it to 10th place.
I agree it’s not bad neither reuiforagus to it’s pretty alright
@@melindamuller4466 thats just by usage. Its very specific
Quagsire is just an overly solid defensive Pokémon
I'm not sure any Water/Ground type is truly terrible. It's just an amazing typing.
Quagsire should NOT be on this list! Any Pokémon that has a niche in Ubers should NEVER EVER be on a top 10 weakest list! 😡
@Rafif Irawan those were only in one gen though while Quagsire always had one since gen 5
Calm down bro

I don't get what gamefreak were thinking while making Galarian Stunfisk.
"Ah yeah let's give it an ability that only works in terrains and all it does is take away Stunfisk's STAB moves. Let's also give a base 35 power signature grass type move for no reason."

Poor Marowak. Power Creep killed it competitively like the Rockets did at Lavender Town.
And yes, I went there!!

My heart just SUNK when I saw Quagsire there
Ok saying quagsire is only good because of unaware is like saying sweepers are good only because their speed and atack which are easier to take away than abbility
Note for Golem, you used its Alolan form’s type match up.
Both Golems are the same

It's a shame Golem doesn't get Shell Smash. It would combo amazingly well with Sturdy and make it main weaknesses priority and multi hit moves
Wouldn’t make much sense tho
@@GravityIsFalling it technically has a shell
@@GravityIsFallingIt's a rock turtle.
To be fair, ability changing moves/abilities are HIGHLY gimmicky, especially in singles.
My thoughts:
10: I'd say Sandslash is worse in the earlier generations and, while still bad, still better in the new generations.
9: Runerigus is bad, but it still shouldn't be underestimated. Trust me, I faced one that set up a lot and I struggled.
8: *How dare you place Quagsire on here!* He is your god! Bow before him immediately. He isn't bad, *YOU'RE* bad!
7: I fully agree with these. They're both really bad.
6: Alolan Dugtrio is terrible. It just has no Defense and no good Abilities.
5: Claydol was actually pretty good in Gen 3 competitive, but ever since Gen 4, it has been awful outside Rapid Spin. And even then, there are loads of better spinners out of Ground Types, namely Donphan and Excadrill
4: Like Claydol, Kantonian Marowak was good in a different generation of competitive, being Gen 2 with the JoltWak combo. But otherwise, yeah its pretty bad.
3: Wait WHAT?! I thought Golem was pretty good outside of competitive. How dumb are you lmaooooooooooooooo?! First Quagsire, and now this. You're such an idiot!
2: Whiscash is the ONLY Water/Ground type who deserves to be here, *NOT QUAGSIRE!*
1: Wormadam is just bad in general.
Ight shut up
Tbh Camerupt should have been on the list, it sucks so bad
@@diegobendinelli2680 *cries*
Is Pokemom just a typo or you really did that intentionally cause of Marowak?
Typo or not, he fixed it.
One thing I can say about #8: He bring the pain!
It's a Quagsire Buff meme.
Whiscash in games:can be good
Whiscash in anime:it ate a freaking master ball
Fun fact: I think whishcash is better than quagsire but that's just my opinion
@Rafif Irawan well we could discuss here about it but I think both of us will agree that both are the weaker from small group of water/ground types but still they are usable(like fot example stalling quagsire or d-dancing wishcash)
Quagsire is a better Pokémon than you are giving it credit for he has has times when he was played in ubers and OU even though he has never been higher than UU. Want proof watch False Swipe Gaming’s, How Good Was Quagsire Actually.
“I’m just grounded…”
😂😂😂
Good one!!
I noticed that in the golem weakness and resistance chart he used I used the alolan golem and not the kanto golem
Always loved Marowak, always have him in my team, never get's proper love, still waiting on a 3rd evolution.
Golem's inclusion shouldn't really be surprising considering how vulnerable it has been since the dawn of Pokemon history.
Gen 1 is where it shined and since then it has went down hill with few attempts of being good again but even then is so frail is not even worth using as well is alolan form too Rhydon and Rhyperior are way better than Golem now honestly.
Yeah it was OU in gen 2, and while it's not OU in gen 1 anymore it's still really usable
I miss when you say "Up next is the thumbnail Pokemon!" "The pokemon shown in the thumbnail."
I’m quite conflicted about the Quagsire pick because of its semi bulk, incredible typing, and great ability in unaware, but overall I’m glad you made this list.
Fun fact: One playthrough I forgot that Claydol was Psychic/Ground and called it Ghost Nappa. I believe you follow my train of thought from there.
Brilliant 😂 👏👏👏👏👏
With the exception of Sandy Wormadam, all Pokémon in this list are usable, whose proves how good the Ground-type is.
Almost clicked off the video when number 1 was Sandslash. It was always one of my favorites back when I actually played as a kid (Gen 1/2/3) But ily Mystic. So I kept watching.
1 time I did sweep with Ddancing Whiscash. That is because Opposing carnivine missed its power whip
Weakest ground type is sandy wormadam you bet
Second this

Wow. My top 5 favorite types in reverse order completely: Ground, Steel, Ghost, Fighting, Electric.
I love Sandslash though. Ever since I used it in Jhoto.
Wait he showed the wrong weakness chart for golem
Mystic: Wormadam doesn't have any moves.
Also Wormadam: Has access to Quiver Dance, Bug Buzz and Psychic...No rock moves tho🤔
Sandy Wormadam gets Rock Tomb via TM and Blast via level up.
@@ShadowtheUA-camr523 But both are physical...so forget them :/
wormadam is still garbage so thats that

Poke mom? Looks like your mom loves pokemon a lot
Mystic please make a best team in XD since you have made one in Colosseum
Mystic, the logic you used for quagsire could also be applied to diggersby.
"Poke*mom*"? Seems like there's a typo in the title.
As for what type should be next… well, all that's left is Bug 2.0, Dragon, Fairy and Poison. So we can't continue the type advantage streak no matter what… maybe we should go in the reverse direction and start a Type DISadvantage chain, starting with Poison, then Fairy, and finally Dragon, then the Bug-Type redux to cap it all off.
It is sad that Marowak is so low. THE ALOLAN FORM HOWEVER... It was one of my Ace members on my Ultra Sun team. Flare Blitz combined with the Thick Club and the Rock Head ability did BRUTAL DAMAGE

I'm really surprised diggersby didn't make it on the list
In defense (pun) of runegrigus it also gets body press with that massive base defense can be brutal, especially in trick room
Of course Wormadam would be bad have you ever tried hitting someone with a slice of pizza?
When you wish upon a fish but it lets you down
I honestly love baltoy so it's upsetting claydoll is on the list but I knew it was going to be here still a fav of mine.
I find it funny his number 1 pick Sandy wormadam is band in the professors cup in the Pokemon TCG
A quagsire made me rage quit....that thing just wouldn’t frickin die. It couldn’t attack me but it’s defense was so high and it just recovered every time I thought it was finished, also I literally just replaced the only grass move I had with a different attack so yeah this thing isn’t as much as a threat as it is annoying.
I would love to see a best team series but with only Pokémon from each games region like black and white, only Kanto. Only Johno etc etc
I bet Wormadam (Sandy cloak) on this list or not its should be a honorable mention
Good video :)
...as someone who's watched False Swipe Gaming, seeing these all hurt, especially for Quagsire holy christ Dx
But despite sandslash being weak i still like it, cause i like its design pretty cool and cute at the same time

I tried to run a Claydol as an offensive attacker in my ORAS Nuzzlock.... It did not go well.
I dunno the Claydol I've been using for my Pokemon MMO playthrough has been doing amazing in nearly all of my battles. Of course that's probably because of it's EV and IV points. It can take a hit and hit hard and fast.
i love me some claydol
Poison type next?
Can you make a best team for pokemon uranium
12:36, that's not the typing weakness of golem
I still want the Dragon type video
i LOVE Sandslash sooo much, but I already knew he'd be on this list. They really treated [Kanto] Sandslash like it's a Normal type they forgot they made Ground.
