    I know that this is old, but there is the Exhausted Air Recycling System(EAR) where the exhaust air will go to the intake and work like a supercharger making the engine work less to capture air, kind of how Turbo chargers work in Cars. so it's kinda of a close system

    • @AirEngineResearch
      @AirEngineResearch  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you for your response on my video, but a turbo charger won’t work in a pressurized system. The intake on a gasoline engine is under suction or a vacuum not pressurized and a turbo charger only puts out from 6 to 8 pounds per square inch and won’t be able to insert air into a pressurized system like 250 300 psi.
      I won’t disregard the possibility someday I’m figuring out a way to do it, and if I do I’ll be sure to let you know. Thanks again for the comment

      @@AirEngineResearch So the air intake from which the compressor gets it's air which then compresses to the main tank can't be supercharged? Have you checked the EARS (Exhausted Air Recycling System) they have a youtube video explaining how it works.

      Hi Marvin
      Thanks again for the replying, I have looked at the Video for AERS, and we are talking about two different things.
      They are putting the exhaust back into the Shop Air Compressor Tank using the Compressor Air Intake to re-compress the air into the tank.
      I am looking for a way to put some, or all of the Exhaust if possible back into the High Pressure Supply Tank.
      It is not practical to have a compressor in the Air Engine System that would be able to compress 2000 to 4000 psi, so it must be done some other way.
      My goal is to build an Air Engine that runs efficiently using the lowest pressure and least amount of Air as possible.
      It is intended to replace the engine of a small car or truck that can be used locally, where the air can be replaced as needed from home.
      I haven’t given up on the idea of recycling, but just haven’t figured out how?
      Please check out my website and see where we are today, the video you commented on was from 2016, we have made changes since then.

    Sir..i am making a project that is " compressed air engine vehicle with renewable source" .. That means i want to reuse the compressed air by absorbing in the tank... Will it work????
    Can you please give me a idea abou this?? this

    • @AirEngineResearch
      @AirEngineResearch  3 роки тому

      I have not been able to come up with any way to reuse all of the compressed air from a storage tank. It is possible to reuse part of it, by using another tank, but it will only be possible to save it up to the pressure in the main tank - then both tanks will be the same pressure. The closer you get to the pressure in the main tank, the less power you will have to run the engine - due to the back pressure from the storage tank.
      The only way i can see it, is having a compressor powered by some external source to recompress the exhaust.
      My advice is to make the engine as efficient as possible to get the most out of your compressed air.
      There are many other videos on my Channel that might help you.

    Hi, Thanks for the rapid response. I agree with all that you said as it is all factors, but what if you build a smaller tank that only release air to the main tank if its at 1000psi? it will still consume more air than what it gets, but you have no loss of actual air. tweaking air usage or having another air engine driven by wind could help speed up the process of compressing the exhaust tank to 1000psi.

      Thanks for your interest, but as i have said in my videos, a simple highly efficient engine system is my goal.
      Trying to recycle would be complicated and increase the size and weight, along with increased costs.
      Using a single high pressure tank will - I hope work ok

    Use scuba tank your maintank and you get 3000-4000 psi from start.And exhaust side collecting reseirvor smaller tank.

    Try using a system of none return valves and a second tank when the air pressure drops in the first tank it will automatically fill from the second tank.

      Thanks Stephen for watching Air Engine Research, and participating in possible ways to make using an Air Engine possible. I have thought of many different ways to save Exhaust air, and what you are suggesting is one way that might work to save part of the Exhaust for possible reuse.
      The problem to overcome will be - what do we do when the Air Pressure in the Second Tank is equal to the Exhaust Pressure from the Engine?
      The Air Engine won't run when the Inlet & Exhaust Pressures are equal.
      I will see what I can come up with and do a video with my thoughts.
      Any and all suggestions are welcome, lets see if there is a practical way.

      @@AirEngineResearch If can fit a pump to the pulley system the exhaust air goes to the pump and then the pump sends it to the tank, the pump takes the pressure away and it should compress back in to the tank

      I am a bit skeptical, it’s difficult to see but it appears the blue hose feeding the air into the engine is coming from a different source. It also sounds as if an air compressor is running in the background. I would need to know more to be convinced

    Hola.What if you make your motor taking air like steam engine,HP,LP to tank? Highpressure sylinder where the air goes low pressure sylinder and then tank,tesla valve and tank?Thanx

    Hellou.I have watched your videos longtime,so i thank you for the good work.You could use exhaust air for the ac or making small fridge at your car where the exhaust goes and your food will stay cold.What you think about if we can collect money for you,that you can buy the tank and the recearch will go on?Because if we help you,you will help all people with your recearch.Thank you for your good work.Sorry my english is not the best,but we will manage some how.:-)

      Thank you for responding to my videos, your English is good enough to get your message to all of us.
      I appreciate your willingness help with funding, but until I have proven to myself that the Air Motor is ready to be put into
      My Ram 50 pickup, I will not ask for financial help.
      Your comment about Air Conditioning is a viable thought, and I have also thought about it.
      The exhaust air is cold, but wether or not there is enough volume to cool is something I will need to figure out.
      I will work on it and make a video to present my findings for you and the other subscribers.

    Do you hear about bob neal engine?

    • @AirEngineResearch
      @AirEngineResearch  6 років тому +1

      I have looked at what Bob Neal is doing, but i can not see where it would be practical for use to drive a vehicle.
      I see him as just beginning to develop something driven by compressed air, without understanding how much compressed air it will use.
      I started 13 years ago and went through a lot of pretty dumb ideals & designs, to come up with the fairly simple and very efficient use of air by developing the 2 Plate Eccentric Drive.
      if you are really interested in following the development of my current Air Engine, go to:
