the wind. I am showing you 2 systems, one is a industrial air compressor that is feeding 3 large storage tanks. Then that air is ran through a large black tube into the building where it is filtered then goes into several white tubes and into the ceiling fans. This system is awesome. The second system I show you is ran by a windmill. The windmill turns and builds up air and sends it through the large tube to a compression tank. When that tank is filled the windmill stops turning and the air is sent through the condensation filters and the regulator then into the white tubes to turn the huge ceiling fans. That is just the beginning, then it travels through another tube and right INTO THE SEWING MACHINE and other Pneumatic Tools!!!!! this is awesome and I hope you enjoy the video and it gets you thinking =)

About OFF GRID with DOUG and STACY:
We moved to our 11 acres in 2011 from a large city in the Midwest with zero carpentry and farming skills. We live with no solar / wind power / public water or well. We share our adventure to a sustainable life, growing our own food from vegetables to meat. We post videos DAILY and they range from HOW TO to EVERYDAY LIFE and NUTRITION on the off grid homestead. We were city folks just like you probably and wanted to enjoy life and have more control over our food. We share food recipes as well as natural remedies.

This is an absolute genius. I never thought the energy from compressed air can be transfered to home appliances without the need of converting it first to electricity.

I imagine the air driving the fans would be quite cool because it has expanded since being under pressure. So it actually IS an air conditioner, not just a fan. It's FANtastic :)

The store looks Amish and the narrator looks like an Amishman. But I don't believe he is. I know how they talk, and he doesn't sound Amish.

This is a long time since iv been impressed. It’s so simple…the tanks are the batteries, the turbine is the compressor. The air pressure is power. There’s always air, there’s always wind. You need way more turns from way more electric turbines with way heavier batteries to get the electric equivalent of their pneumatic setup. Wow

And people look at me like I'm crazy when I say, hey, there is always a good wind here so chuck solar and use the wind. Gray days not a problem.

It's awesome the ways you are showing us how to do things without using solar. Not that solar is bad, I just like seeing different options. Thanks!!

"Fans feel like an air conditioner." No. No they don't.

I'm impressed by the brains that figure this stuff out. God gives us air and the govt can't tax air!

Unfortunately, people are unaware how much danger lies in air pressure containers, including all this technology chain.

BRILLIANT! I built refrigerators in New Orleans in a factory that was run on air. Drills wrenches, rivet guns, etc The compressor was electric powered, but this is fantastic!

Once again Doug and Stacy has one of the coolest videos on UA-cam. VERY ingenious design and way to power the compressor as well. Loved it guys. Keep 'em coming please. Thanks for sharing.
