Great video as ever Harry. Thank you for entrusting us at to undertake the works to your fantastic Zagato.. Gaining such a prestigious award is an incredible achievement and testament to all that put there efforts…& incredible skills @prestgeredinishing and others. It’s been a real pleasure to deliver you the car that represents such personal history for you, now recognised as a concours competition winner. Moreover, you’re using and driving…enjoying it , as intended!
Thank you to all that have supported and given us such great support throughout, it helped immensely…🏆
What an epic end to the restoration story of the Fulvia Z! Great work by Sam and Adrian 🙂
More like a rebuild. No Italian car from that era was well made.
That jag is so cool. Personal opinion but the prettiest car there.
Completely agree. It’s the jag for me.
Just had my 17 yr daughter asking whats harry doing this week....nearly brought a tear to my eye 🥲 .congratulations on the prize harry and for inspiring the younger generation too 👍
But look at the state of modern car design. Look at all those Lamborghinis - beautiful, individual designs. Then look at the Aventador: a Murcielago with ugly, silly creases on it. Same with Ferrari: the 488 and the F8 - a 458 with stuff stuck on it.
You are an adult?
No one in my house is interested, I've introduced friends to the channel so I have someone to discuss the cars and reviews with :-)

Quite!
Every now and again I make a "lottery" list of the vehicles I'd like to own if I had the disposable funds - I honestly can't think of anything, new, from the last decade that interests me, other than Mr Murray's cars, and I believe they're sold out - and then some.
Closest one can buy is a high spec' Rangy, but even that doesn't quite hit the spot - unless I can have some trim finishes, that aren't on the options list, to get rid of eye-sores.
Being paid to grow fuck all.
Harry always gets us in "the best places".
Yes, it's nice to live my posh car life vicariously through Harry's videos.
The city of London = Satan's UK HQ
Harry is like that old friend that always brings cheer with him.
No. None of my friends have his resources and connections. None of my friends had 6 bikes growing up.
None of my friends had vars until their 20s.... minimum.🎉
The XJC is one of the most incredible cars I've ever heard.
But Harrys was in "Green' !!! The old saying goes "Green for a car should never be seen ".
as a teenager who roder a bike past a Jag repair shop on the way to school, there were often XJCs on the road and I always wanted one. Still do.
Totally agree it looked absolutely stunning when he was loading it up on the truck 🤩😎
the Monteverdi is sublime, elegant aggression like Jason Statham in a tux
No one does a walk around like Harry! #theknowledge Congratulations on the win to you & the team bringing your childhood dream car back to reality!
For anyone wondering what the silver Zagato @26:36 was, it's an Autech Zagato Gavia. A joint project between Nissan's Autech tuning brand and Zagato. It was based on the Nissan Leopard, but with a VG30DETT engine out of a 300ZX. Only 16 were built.
I’m not quite there yet having just saw the video up, but I will definitely be looking for that, impressive engine in such a tiny thing
Thank you... I was hoping someone would know!!
Cool beans 😎
I knew I had seen it in a magazine in the era. Thank you for filling in the details mate!
Great video Harry, delighted to see the Zagato win!
Well done to everyone involved in that restoration. Epic work 👏👏👏
I love the deep pride and excitement, you show when showing your beautiful, tastefully restaured three gems. That goes directly through the screen to us. And that Monteverdi..
Ofcourse you are in the Mille Miglia in a 300SL!
Watching Harry wander around nattering about cars is a wonderful way to lift spirits. Thanks for the mental health boost
I like the way you describe the cars in this event, you describe the car like you describe the character of a person you very know about and i like that. very old school and very easy to understand, i hope you keep making content like this for a long time, greetings from Indonesia🇮🇩
Selamat malam tuan!
Having owned an XJ40 and an XJ81, that XJC is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen.
You’re XJC is a work of art Harry 😍
pfft. Have a look at the one down in Australia currently at motorex with a proper engine , paint blows this one away for workmanship and innovation.
@@smiddysmidton8313 opinions very 🤷♂️
@@smiddysmidton8313 Said like a true Aussie 🤪👍
That Monteverdi 👌
That Jag is so unbelievably beautiful. I know there are obvious choices there, but that design and colour is a peice of design art
That Facel II is absolutely glorious, what a colour too.
Congratulations Harry. The Zagato absolutely deserved to win. A wonderful product of lifelong passion and restoration skills.
Monteverdi 375 - one of my absolute fav cars, sorry Harry couldn’t take my eyes off it
Congratulations!
I visited the show on the Thursday and had a good look around his cars (and briefly met Harry too) and I have to say, the Lancia is completely amazing, wonderfully small and well worthy of it’s prize.
That was great fun! Congratulations Harry on a well deserved win with the Lancia Fulvia Zagato! It was a rare treat to follow along as you chronicled the team of craftsmen restoring it to the exceptional state as it stands today. Interesting to see a Facel Vega entered in the show too. Both your channels are must watch.
Great your mechanics and fabricators have got the recognition they deserve for their fine work for your zagato harry 😍👌
Tremendous collection of fabulous motor vehicles and you won a well deserved trophy congratulations Harry 👍🏻🏴
It doesn’t get any better than Harry’s garage. What an amazing channel.
After watching the entire video, I have to say my favourite is the Jaguar XJC V12, with the Citroen SM a close second. The Jaguar looks simply gorgeous in that bespoke green and with all the work that's gone into the engine I'm surprised it didn't win a prize!
The Zagato was a worthy winner. Congratulations to the team that brought it back to life.
Harry, you should definitely make a video about that Porsche 962 if the owner allows it because that’s quite literally one of the rarest unicorns of the automotive world! 😮
Congrats, Harry. The Zagato looks and sounds spot on and likely IS one the best remaining in the world.
Props to your restorers who have done a fine restoration on this iconic car.
Well done Harry. What differentiates you and your cars is that you build and maintain them in order for them to be driven and enjoyed. It's clear as well that you appreciate design and sound as each of your cars is distinctive. Bravo and thanks for sharing your passion and knowledge.
Amazing show. Great to see the Panasonic Cockpit roof mounted car stereo in the R5 turbo!
That Stingray is just gorgeous. Imagine blasting around in one of those in 1963.
That Jaaaaggg must be amongst the most beautiful cars ever. Its achingly good looking.
I thought, with the arrest of Nicola Sturgeon, my Sunday couldn't get any better. Then Harry comes along to prove me wrong. Great vid.
love it.
With out a doubt the Jaguar XJC is the most beautiful USEABLE car ever built. I would take one over a 300 gull-wing, or anything else i could imagine owning!👍👍
Great video. The craftsmanship and professionalism of the guys who restored your car is incredible.
That was superb Harry, thanks for sharing this! Huge congrats on the class win with the Fulvia and to the guys who resurrected her, they sure did a mighty fine job, your enthusiasm for this car is easy to understand!
Congrats, Harry. I'm in awe of Sam and Adrian's work on the body. Just incredible workmanship.
IF I had the choice of those three , it would be the jag
You would be in luck as I would have already driven off in the Zagato given the same choice.
Thank you Harry for taking us to the places we can't always get to (but would love to) and showing us the beautiful and interesting cars. Love the knowledge you put in so effortlessly through your years of dedication. Looking forward to the next one.
32km/h!! That's bloody insane!
That Facel Vega is absolutely incredible, gorgeous paint work. So many great cars on display, thanks for the tour! Congratulations to Harry, everyone at Day and White's, and everyone at Prestige for the Zag winning its class! 👍👍👍
Harry's Garage , knocks it out of the park again.
It has become one of my guilty pleasures.
Living vicariously through your program from beautiful southern
New Jersey. 😊
Well done Harry (and the restorers of course!!) with the Zagato prize. 👍👍 I remember way back in the 70's watching a film called "The Man Who Haunted Himself" which featured an exotic sports car which turned out to be a RHD Islero driven by Roger Moore in the starring role so perhaps it was his own car? The Pantera is another one of the best looking cars ever made IMO. If I'd been at the show I reckon I'd have lasted 10 mins before being thrown out for salivating on the exhibits!😂
The other car in that film was a Rover P5b if I remember correctly.
The designs of the 80's and the beginning of the 90's give me traquility and emotion, on the other hand todays are very spectacular but they fill me up
Congratulations for winning Best in Class. Well deserved, after all the hard work on the body and the engine.
Encyclopaedic knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication. Thanks to one kid in a toy shop from another kid in a toy shop! Great video.😊
Great video as usual, congrats on the win and to Sam and Adrian for all the hard work they put in the bodywork, looking forward to next Sunday already !
Great video as always but kudos to the gentleman at 23:45 who executes an excellent tactical swerve out of the camera.
Harry’s too polite to mention they (The Driver’s Union) also gave him Best UA-cam Channel
Harry's excitement and appreciation for all things car related is contagious. One of the most enjoyable car channels on YT
Very interesting, I actually could imagine I was there, even though I am in Panama!
Seeing video of Londom makes me happy that I live in the countryside.
We’re glad you do too.
I didn't know Zagato did a version of the Carrera GT! It's quite subtle by their standards, it's really more of a Bodykit that a Rebody!
Congratulations on the Zagato win, Harry !
It's certainly Loud and Wild !
Lovely soundtrack to close, thank you, Harry, a deserved win.
Harry, congratulations on a well deserved prize - considering all the trouble while restoring it. What always gets me is how fantastic these old 4 cylinders engines sound - without any electronic faffing around like they do today.
Wow! Just...........................wow! Marvellous video, Mr M.
I’ve found that cars in general look very good in overcast light. Don’t know if that will help or hurt your case Harry, as it applies to all cars and it tends to hide imperfections.
Well, it's got to be a bottle of fine wine for those metalwork guys! It's by far, my fav. Harry's Garage car.
Great stuff. To see all those cars, and amazing to see the Zagato win in its' class. A credit to Sam & Adrian, but also a credit to Harry for sticking with it as the project proved to be more than expected....., but what a fantastic end result. A car with a personal back story that was restored to win a concours event. This channel knocks spots off Top Gear because of Harry and his cars and his knowledge and his passion.
Lovely to meet you at the concourse Harry, you were an absolute gentleman, precisely what I expected. Icing on the cake on a great day.
Well Deserved credit to the artists in metal that rescued this gem, and to Harry to be able to support the efforts that were required to accomplish this feat ! Bravo
I saw an XJC (?) like this in 2003 or 2004 in Buckinghamshire, in the Wycombe/Chilterns area, I still remember it vividly. It was driven by a young gentleman and he had an older lady (mother or aunt?) with him. That car had a black vinyl roof and ever since, I’ve been in love with them. It’s such a stunning shape and a characterful car, even without actually driven one.
Thank you Harry for being our host to this fantastic event- it’s always interesting and fun hanging out with you.
Randomly take 3 cars from your garage to a event somewhere in central London and winning ... Harry, YOU are the BEST IN CLASS :)
That xj coupe is something else. It has all the ingredients for my perfect car.
The Superbird was homologation cars and the design of the front and wing was 100% based on best aerodynamics, looks were secundary. The wing was so high to get it in free air above the roof. The race cars was actual able to do 200mph on the nascar tracks.
Nope, it was to allow the trunk to open.
@@monikacognomen1096 , then they could have just mounted it on the trunk lid like it's done on all cars with an low rear wing. Look at the first F1 or Can-Am racing wings from the same age, they were also high in the air. It was based on the engineering knowledge of the time. The "for opening the trunk" is a old wife tales.
@@westmus You are probably correct, there is so much twaddle spoken about American cars generally. There always seems to be a 'human interest' story attached to what was just cynical marketing of any product that might sell. The notion that the 'bird was a serious effort in high speed is mere hype, so I suppose we can add this little anecdote to the crock.
Congrats Harry on your trophy and to the sweat and tears of the teams who did the outstanding work.
Also a big thanks for taking us on a guided tour of such an esteemed event, from all the channel watchers who could not be there, Bravo Harry!
The sun came out! The perfect amount.
The Monteverdi is beautiful
The little Zagato a winner. Great great cars in this show.
Congratulations to you and the build team for bringing this lovely automobile to tip-top condition!😀 Thank you for taking all of us to this lovely event.
Best of British engineering and craftsmen with Italian design its a good combo
Effervescent enthusiasm Harry !...
Heart was in my mouth when Harry got out of the Fulvia. I thought for sure an epic door-ding was coming.
An automotive art show, fantastic to see and glad to see your cars featuring. 👍
I love the Fulvia but I think the guys who rebuilt it deserve the award. They were the ones that turned it into what it is today.
Awesome! As always :)
It's not a love it's a Passion. Such a stunning Countach Harry. Love you're vids
Well Done Harry 👍❤️🍻
Respect to Harry, and the channel, the only true content creator ❤
I hope you can loan the shops that award for them to display. Such INCREDIBLE work.
congratulations Harry. Sam and Adrian will be really pleased with that as much as you are. We don't have car shows like that in Oz.
Just so you know, if you bought a Citroën SM for the garage then I would voraciously watch every single video about it you ever make.
Congratulations! My first thoughts went out to the guys who worked on the Lancia. Hats off to them and naturally hats off to you who took the leap to start the project. Well done!
Sorry man, I'm all out of hats. There's apparently been a run on them.
THE XJC IS FANTASTIC!!!
YES to the SM! My dream car - after the Maserati Bora I saw at a local show in Kent a month ago. That was simply stunning.
Zagato and XJC look absolutely stunning. My Dad in 1980 bought a brand new Datsun Skyline 240kgt and the rear windows came down adsatly the same.way I remember as I often got told of as a kid for playing with electric windows .
Honestly deserved
You are always honest open minded and helpful
You could say more on the Ulez situation
Classic car’s are gonna be extinguished in London
Please help
Please send your condolences to the people who admire your kindness
A voice about the situation
I think pre 1973 cars are exempt but, yes, it's a pity about others not quite so old and ordinary people who will be forced to replace their vehicles.
Congrats Harry and your resto team 🎉🎉
i love that you drove the lancia to the show and then won best in class!
The Zagato bodywork is sublime
that jaguar is a beauty!! love that colour!
Once again ! Great Video ! Good show my dear Fellow! From USA
Well Done Harry! Shout out from Southern New England! I applaud all of your Automotive Achievements!! I'm so glad you share it with the whole world !!🇺🇸🏁🇬🇧🇺🇸🏁🇬🇧
Congratulations on your class win. Kudos to the guys making it happen.
Great result for the Fulvia and the restoration team... Lucky Mr H has deep pockets.
God...I just love that Jaguar
Congrats on the Trophy Harry! Thanks for the in-depth coverage. I felt right there in the City of London again😊!
