Yes!I was in this show in 1987,in fact one day before the show! everybody in brasil was thinking how he could play in so hard time!but I must say, it was a amazing night and the audience work together to give as much power to sting.some one need to pass this show to dvd and spread out that amazing night!!! "the tin summer in rio"kkkkk!!!!
i was 6 going on 7 during this tour in Rio, and in 89 my cousin used to have a cover band in Rio that would play all these great Sting sons!

I went to this "Coke'n Concert" brazilian tourneé here in Belo Horizonte, at the Independência (Independence) Stadium. Will never forget. I was seventeen.
Sting's father died in the same day.

I was there. This is great, but I still prefer the version from the 'Bring on the Night' live album - w/ the amazing band of Omar Hakim, Branford Marsalis, Darryl Jones, Janice P, Dolette M and the late, great Kenny Kirkland. However this piano solo by Kenny Kirkland is as great as the original one.

LO MEJOR DE STING!!!
I used to have a VHS tape of this song from the same tour "Nothing Like the Sun - 1987" that was recorded from TV. It was a different venue, but it was an amazing performance. Does anyone still have a copy of it? I remember that Delmar Brown's vocals were in the mix and the band played some slightly different hits during the "world is running down section". Kenny played his best solo version that I have ever heard in that version. Unfortunately I no longer have the VHS or the audio cassette copy that I made from it.

Solana star was a small tug boat wiht the basement full of tins wiht the best canabis past in Brasil until these days,the crew be adivise,and they had a short time to escape from police they make holes in the first tins then they start to jogar the tins on the water

@otavioandradas . that's right . Not only he was long time in the 1st fabolous wynton Marsalis 5 tet , but dont miss listen him in those fantastic ECM records in late 70's with the Miroslav Vitous 4tet . here with sting he was only making money , he did very better things then these easy pop .

the only member of the crew to be arrested in that time was the cook unbelivable I know that because this navy island is in front 15 november square.this is a place to take ferry boats to niteroi and paqueta island also Im a local from rio de janeiro,I have 44 years old and me and my friends laughing a lot to see in front our eyes a small tug boat wiht huge basement story at navy docks until now we dont have any idea about the real destiny of that boat still a mystery even now daysforuswhocarekk
