Such a shame when there are tons of people that need affordable housing. Seems that it could be fixed and turned into some sort
of income based living fairly easily.

I agree, but it seems we live in a self-centered world. Many people prioritize themselves and their families over others. Thanks for tuning in! Remember to subscribe and hit the notification bell so you don't miss out on future content.

    wow this is so cool.
So i visited this place in 2022. you see those big apartment buildings behind it? Those are dorm rooms for Florida tech (FIT). I stayed in those in the summer of 2022 for a summer program. Me and my roomates explored this place one day and it looks basically the same. One of my roomates took one of the fire exit signs as a souvenir.
the dorm manager said the place got shut down.
While we explored, we saw SO many rats running everywhere and the first floor was destroyed from people ripping out the copper pipes. the kitchen was awful and there was like a box of those syrup packets laying around.
we actually got access to the roof and took some cool pics.
One haunting memory was how there was 1 room on the second or 3rd floor that was hidden behind a fallen door or something and IT WAS STILL FULLY FURNISHED. Like bed, clothes, pictures of reletives, its like someone was still living there. It was so unnerving.
One of the offices had like medical records for all the patients, like its not really good for those to just be out in the open.
in the lounge, someone drew a pentagram on the floor
3:30 whats really funny is you can STILL HERE THAT DARN SMOKE ALARM IN THE BACKGROUND!!! THAT WAS THERE 2 YEARS AGO!!! How did it last that long?
    yeah, pretty sad place
but if you have an abandoned building next to a place where bored college kids live......that happens. thanks for the memories!

I did business with the owners when it was a hotel, and it had a severe rat problem. So when they converted it into a living facility for older people, I was shocked. There's no way they got rid of all those rats. The rat infestation was one of the key violations that led to their shutdown. Thanks for watching, glade it brought back some cool memories for you.

Nurri Dora is the owner. He was the administrator when it was Cristal Palace. So many AHCA complaints on every survey. I went there a few times for private duty patients and the whole place stunk like mold, they had rats everywhere, they lost a freaking patient (!!!), they had no evacuation plans for hurricane, they were handing out the wrong medications. That place was absolutely horrible! He’s trying to get grant money to turn into permanent housing for homeless mothers and children. The fact that our city lets it look like this says a lot about our government officials.

I've read plenty of negative reports about Cristal Palace. Your firsthand account really brings those issues to light. I suspected they had rat problems, especially considering its history as a hotel plagued by rodents. When the hotel owner showed me the ballrooms, he even mentioned the rat issues and how he were trying to handle it. It seems getting rid of them is a tough task. While repurposing the facility for homeless mothers and children is a noble goal. Thank you for sharing your concerns. Thanks for tuning in! @@TIMJMEANSBUSINESS they had roaches as well. It’s a shame because that place could have been beautiful for senior living like Grand Villa on US 1 in Melbourne. I’ve been to almost every assisted living and long term care facility in Brevard County. I have to say Cristal Palace was the worst. The CNA’s weren’t really CNA’s but a few did care, the one nurse was clueless. I wanted to take every person they had there home with me.
I did subscribe! I saw you posted the link in a Palm Bay group and that brought me to your page. You did an amazing job on this video! When I moved here it was just a no name hotel that had little people wrestling on weekends 🤣. Can you tell me anything about the Roxy Cinema down the street from Cristal Palace?
Also if you haven’t, try the habanero grill next door to Cristal’s. They’re to die for and you might get lucky with a free show of the homeless fighting in Cristal’s parking lot!
