- Join myself and Mike from "Good Day For Decay" as we check out an Abandoned Nursing home & Rehab Center. We believe we are the first ones to film this location as many people arent away that its even abandoned. Aside from water damage on the main floor, the rest of the building is in good shape, with lots of contents left behind. Enjoy

Please Note: Exploring Abandoned locations can be dangerous. I don't condone or encourage anyone to enter an Abandoned structure. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal and when possible, i seek out permission. I simply go to document its history before it's gone and leave things the way I find them. I assume all the risks & responsibility in doing so. Please don't attempt to do this on your own.

I remember this place as a school in the 70s....great memories
Jp, thank you for sharing cool place
Wonderful video!!!
that bench is amazing. I am surprised a staffer didn't take that when they were leaving the place. just love that you show respect, and privacy for the people that stayed there . hats off you to that. H
sparky107107 that bench is definitely an awesome find
Would of been nice to of heard what the note said 😏
The note just said first floor on it.
Great Video guys Dave Heeren
Brilliant Vid - As always. You & Mike together on explores equals Abandoned Gold.
Thanks!
Definitely has the feel and layout of an original school building, but the rooms seem small for classrooms. Love the ornate bench.
They definitely reconstructed the interior.
I have been Viewing Your Videos For the Past Few Days, And Let Me Say this, I Am very Picky with Which Channels I Watch when it comes To Urban Exploration. I Myself have Done it For the Past 40 Years, Not to the Level You Do...But I still have always Had a Code of Conduct about Being Respectful and Safe, with All that being said You have earned My Respect, My Appreciation, And My Subscription....Keep up the Amazing Work!!
Thanks for watching and the kind words.
Great job guys !!!! Thanks !!!!
Great video, that painted rock was cool as was that ornate bench
Thank you for sharing this amazing video. I will be sharing.
👍
I used to be a nurse. I truly hope that having assisted living/senior citizens and drug rehab patients in the same building doesn't become the norm. Bad idea.
I was shocked when i read that info.
I'm sure Hollywood will make a movie about it where a Meth-head forms an uncommon bond with 80 year old Mildred. "Polar Opposites that would change each other's lives.... forever!" (cue happy music)
@@pastexpiry2013B 🤣🤣🤣
Especially with the drug rehab patients doing the meal prep for the assisted living clients! So un-cool!!! Hopefully the assisted living patients were moved to a place with better living conditions!
Big thumbs up bro, great video. Please don't stop taking these beautiful opacity shots.....
@JPVideos thanks for replying. The phone ringing great idea. You had me fooled. Donut!!
Lol
Cool video JP, so much sadness in one building.
the war book was cool but the Super Find was by all means the wooden seat that thing was Beautiful!!
i really enjoy viewing abandoned places. I wish I was able to view them in person lol. I liked this video because I have always wanted to open like a halfway house or rehab. I enjoy helping people
Thanks for watching
Love how you made the “ringing phone” your signature :) love watching your vids
I like to have some fun in my videos.
Great find! Nice video. Glad I came across your channel
Thank you s.p.
fascinating place.
The phone calls are cracking us up. I don't know if I will be opening refrigerators unless I already have on a respirator. That one metal fridge you opened made us recoil out loud. Lol. Looked like a kitchen nightmares episode in the kitchen.
Yeah, i was expecting it to be empty.
Very nice!!
Ty
The still picture at the 5:00 mark is both stunning and haunting.
Very interesting place. Top floor was in pretty good shape , the rest was a mess. I was very surprised that there was no graffiti and damage done. Enjoying watching this one
I like the way you go back, after the fact, and give new information you discovered since you had filmed the place. It cleared up some things I was wondering about as I watched your video. I noticed that you do this in your other videos, too! It breaks my heart, though, that those old personal records could ruin lives if they fall into the wrong hands, especially if they contain SS numbers. Who even keeps paper patient files these days anyway?!
Good video! Cracked me up that the phone rang a couple of times. Must have really been unexpected!
Just added that in editing
Oh I see
Quit a building why some floors are good and some not. Enjoyed this Explorer, great find. Sad about the contents left behind, but we would never know the whole story, until you walk in there shoes. Thanks great job JP. MJ
I'd like to thank you for not only sharing all these abandoned homes and facilities but also for the respect you show to the property left behind in them. I love imagining the lives of the people who lived or worked in these places. I always enjoy your videos!!
Thank you so much Keri. Even though these places are abandoned, i feel respect should still be given.
JPVideos great video, but then every one I have watched is great. Love how you explain what you can and you add the notes across the screen as updates. I love the long videos, I hate to see them end! Thank you for taking us along on your journeys!
Another Great Explore JP Thanks again for the Thorough Explore, I bet you were freaked out when the x2 phones rang, that painted Rock was Awesome.
I added the ringing during editing
@@JPVideos81 oh ok cool
Can't believe i missed this one oh well better late than never great explore as usual
Phone rings.. “I don’t know why you keep calling” 😂😂😂
Haha 😄
I love it! Appreciate your sense of humor with the phone calls. You got me on that!
Glad you enjoyed it
I always love the “Are you scared?” opening 😱
Some people dont like it for some reason.
Another good one!
Really enjoyed that
That is a sweet bench.
Best find in the place.
Awesome video
At 16:52, that is a beautiful bench!! It looks like it came from an old church or something, but it is gorgeous. I would love to have it. Another great video from you!
that vulcan stove is amazing jp your a rebel don't touch the coffee
I think the patients made the art. We did when I was in a mental hospital. The meds were given through a dutch door. We had a similar common room set up with one TV . We were fed well with meals consisting of veal. I was in one of the $100k per stay places. I was 17 then. We had a swimming pool and a house keeping staff. Our duties were to keep sober.
Thanks so much for sharing. Hope things have changed for the better.
I literally put my shirt over my nose when you opened the fridge. I said to myself “please don’t open that! Annnnd he opened it”Lol I am a new subscriber and am currently binge watching your videos. I get so into the video that I actually move my phone trying see things for myself. 😂😂😂 I find abandoned places very fascinating. Great job guys!
Thankfully there's no smell o vision.
We have a very popular hospital here in Georgia called Central State Hospital that I have wanted to visit for a VERY long time because I love doing the same thing you are doing and taking pictures. Old abandoned buildings/homes are my favorite type of pictures ❤️. I never go inside the buildings. If y’all ever get the chance to go I would love to go with y’all! I have been told that they don’t let people in but then I was also told they do!
Im game
it's a CRIME to leave papers with social security numbers laying around. That's how people's identities get stolen. Somebody should do something about that. Even if those people had to leave in a hurry for some strange reason, which doesn't really make sense, whoever checked to make sure the building was vacated should have removed personal papers. But if the people that worked there didn't care all that much for the ones they were taking care of, then they probably didn't care, but it is still a crime. We live in a world with thoughtless, careless people.
I agree about those papers... I wish he would have taken them himself (JP) and disposed of it. That stuff is going to fall into the wrong hands sooner than later.
Public records are left (especially hospital records) behind, and it is sad....there's an abandoned hospital in NE PA that opened the last decade of 1800's and records are scattered all over inside, you can see thru the windows records, equipment, personal items, it just blows your mind!!
@@gailsharkness9909 There have been businesses that have thrown papers with personal data on them in dumpsters, etc., and it is a CRIME. They could be charged for stuff like that.
@@ericzipf1332 You are right about that. It's like breaking into a computer and stealing personal info. No REAL difference.
We can't fix everything. Sometimes its better to leave well enough alone.
Awesome video. Keep them coming.
You got it!
Touch the coffee 4 me 2 please...
Yes... I agree with you...
Decay looks older than stated... Something was horribly wrong with the scene.
Again thank you for Sharing...
Dave on the Oregon coast...
Wet and rain today.
Love this video, I was a nurse for 32 years.... awesome job!
Thank you
I love the painted rock it is really nice
I think I can smell that place right now!
Only the basement smelled. The top floor actually smelled clean.
It's always amazing to me what is left behind. Sad this happens
Up setting, sad, don't like very much.... But, that's life, right? Thanks JP!!
You're welcome carol
Thanks for another great abandoned video!!! Love them !!
Thanks nina
Thank you JP and Mike for another interesting video. I look forward to them and enjoy them very much. Please keep them coming!
Glad you enjoy them lacey
A great find. l enjoy your videos. take care.
Thanks Kathleen
A very cool location. I wonder why everything was left behind.
I have a lighthouse I painted with accupple of small houses & a small walkway & the ocean painted to hit the rocks & it lights up.
The rock painting was really done well.
I just found your channel and I'm LOVING IT!!!
Glad to hear that millisa 💙
Glad you did not run into anyone their, looks very active. Pretty sad when individuals don't do what their professions are and neglect others and as for the oven that's just water damage making it look old. Nice video!
Oh man, you are breaking my heart... how sad..
This was very interesting! The way you added details was good - not too much at a time so we weren’t overwhelmed and could enjoy the tour. Thank you so much!
Thank you reira
It is amazingly strange how often the phone rings in places you explore... All over the place... WOW! Again & Again!
Just some clever editing
This was one of my favorite videos! So interesting
Thanks Amanda. Any particular reason why?
JPVideos not 100% sure honestly! I think I liked all the information and felt you were more interactive with the environment ( I could be wrong on this) or maybe it was just because there was more stuff inside! It’s always cool to see what’s left behind! Keep it up! I look forward to all of your videos!!
@@amandaburger5691 lol. I didnt mean to put you on the spot. There's no right or wrong answer. I just value the feedback from people like yourself. I'm very happy you enjoyed it.
JPVideos it’s ok!! I’m a relatively new subscriber so I’m in the process of going back and watching some older videos! They are all so interesting. Seriously LOVE your channel
I enjoyed this video.
Ty
GREAT video, JP and Mike, and thank you for the time you took taking us through this massive place, and thank you for sharing the fascinating history of this place. My favorite floor was the pink and blue floor, I think it was the 3rd floor. I can picture this being a beautiful building when it was intact, and loved the ornate windows that you awesomely shared with us. I'm on to your next awesome video :o)
Thank yoy
great job!
Ty
Dude this place is huge and has a considerable amount of Decay considering it's only been a year or two. Weird what a difference between the first through the third floors as well. Cool trip though, thanks for taking us along. As always be safe out there my friend
And now its listed for sale. Will be a tough sell with that first floor.
Another great video, and that wooden bench is incredible! I cannot believe it was not taken! Some of the windows were beautiful as well. I am so amazed things were not taken out of there, furniture, equipment and those washers and dryers!
Was suprising how much and what exactly was left behind.
I love watching your videos so much that by the time I'm done viewing them, my phone is dead!!! Lol
😲😁
You guys are brave!
I really enjoy all of your videos! Thanks for sharing them. It is unbelievable what people leave behind that could be given to someone in need. It also makes me curious to what happened to the people that used to live in these places. Kind of sad.
Each time you round a corner, I fear someone will be standing there. Please be careful!
Thanks Tammy. This place definitely had us on edge.
when you showed the Nurses station with the window to pass the drugs through and the split door I immediately thought of the movie " The one who flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" great video ty
Hey JP !! Very interesting place! I do have to say i got a very uneasy vibe about the place? I loved watching!
Thanks peggy
such a sad looking place
I really enjoyed this thanks.
You're welcome
Phones going off. Creepy
Just some clever editing.
@@JPVideos81 Got me there. :)
And another story unfolds..a very weird one this time...x
Another great video!! Love your sound effects!! Looking forward to your next adventure!! 👏🏻👍🏻
Thank you!
What a waste. I did like the blue chairs, blue is my favourite colour. Thanks for sharing. From Western Australia
My favorite as well
I love the fact you do not steal and leave everything there. Thank god that you don't take what is not yours.
I have respect for the properties and contents.
Thank you for being honest and adventurous. I love your content.
You would think the people would miss their belongings
Nice find and good tour!
Ty
These are the explorations I love, most things are intact! Keep it up! Looking forward to meeting you soon!
Thanks for checking it out.
Awesome video! I'm impressed you knew who Ron Zombie was!
Lol. I saw him at ozzfest one year.
Was really weird, in the long hallway where you were showing squatters had been staying, down at the far end I thought I saw someone pop their head up and a few seconds later thought I heard someone running, just weird, then when the phone rang I almost jumped out of my chair, lol, surprised phone was still even on. Good video, feel bad for the people who were there, hope they got help some where else. Thx for sharing
Phone sound was edited in.
Nice explore! Liked how it got nicer as you went up floors. The third floor looked ready to be used. Thanks for another great video!
Yeah it was crazy. I never see buildings with the top floor in great shape.
Very interesting facility..
Wow,some really cool stuff there!!
Was a nice find.
You are absolutely funny when it comes to the phone calls and there isn't any phone electrical cords going anywhere!.
Yet, some people still believe it
I have to say I’m surprised those fire alarm boxes were not pulled, usually explorers pull them down all the time at abandoned places.
I’m glad that you research the history of your explorations.
I enjoy the research and sharing it with you.
Good video
Thank you
THANKS so much for video. I do appreciate it.👍🤗
And i appreciate you watching.
Awesome video!! Bedbugs yikes!! Stay safe out there JP, you're the best, ;)
You too Karen! Thanks
Every patient room should have had its on bathroom.
Funny with the phone rings.😃😂😁😄Thanks for making me jump.
I'd luv to have that long wooden chair/bench. It was beautiful.

( A song for JPVideos)
Filmed very late & the all night diner
Well, the night is over, it's ten after two.... Most people have stopped prowling.... But we filmed unto late, and we're still wide awake,.... and my stomach is growling. I've just got to eat, though my body is beat,.... I start up the car. The windows are froze, and most everything's closed.... but it isn't too far.
So I drive...... to the all night diner, ......I'll have a number two over light and a diet coke too.....
When you arrive..... at an all-night dinner .......I always wonder if the people are as strange as they seem.
Well, ....the people in the dinner in the middle of the night.... are there for a reson......
They might just be bored,.... or they just haven't scored....or they might just be teasing..... There's a girl in tight pants,.... you can buy her romance.....There's an ugly guy with greasy hair.....the trucker's alone, and two freaks who got stoned, ....and a few people who don't seem to care...
But they drive.... to the all-night diner..... I'll have a number six over light and an orange juice..... When you arrive..... in the all-night diner.... most people are strange and everybody's loose.
As we sit and converse.... There's some guy with a purse ....with some chick who's a wreck, .....as she plays with his beard, we say, "Night people are weird !"..... The waitress brings us our check.
As I get up to go from this late weirdo show .....I pay my bill and then, ....as we're starting to leave, it occurs to me ....that we're must be one of them.......
Because we've been..... to every all night dinner..... and had a number seven over light and a diet coke, too......
Well,......if you strive to make your life finer.......Don't make fun of the people that are doing what you do..
..........In the middle of the night, .....in an all-night dinner........And I'm feeling alright .....in an all-night dinner.......In the middle of the night, in an all-night dinner.....
In..... the middle of the night......
in ...an ....all-night.....dinner.......... .
(The end)👻🤘
Opening a shower curtain scares me more than opening a toilet! Lol
There was a flood. Hence the walk in freezer being moved.
Yep, i showed the flood picture in the gym.
me too, I'm having palpatations just watching this
Kept thinking of Physco.Dadadada Dadadada EEE EEEE EEEEEEEE
Great video!
Can you say HIPAA violation. Wow those files should have been removed or shredded. I was waiting for you all to run into a squatter or someone, every time you turned a corner... very creepy.
Was more shocked that we didnt.
Great tour! Thanks! Sad to see another building left to decay! Interesting that it looks like folks were getting ready to leave and just had to leave everything from their workspace!
Beautiful place. I bet restored it would be stunning!!
good video and sad too. it is now 2022 and was wondering if building is still there, did they do anything with it or was it demolished? i loved the painted rock, the person who did that is very talented. thanks for sharing and no cats this time, lol
