Smooth process and glad to hear those two bolts were not that painful. I went 3 months ahead of time, spraying them before while cold and after it was hot to soak.
I used kroil on my bolts no issues. I went in between Yellowstone commercials on the loosening process lol. On the block off plate I used the o ring and factory gasket. The o ring “sits” inside the gasket so me personally I think it’s a double seal. Could be wrong but no leaks. Also make sure you “tune” your vehicle prior to install and verify it’s accepted. I refilled about a gallon and a half of coolant and let r eat after bleeding process. Good job 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
Yup! As mentioned in the video I was hesitant too. After the process was done, it wasn’t bad at all. What made me hesitant was that I was removing a part that could sit as a paperweight, but has benefits once removed. Same seat of the pants decision as it was to delete haha
I noticed the EGT sensor was not screwed into the new backing plate. I watch Kolts way video. He said to take out the 1st DPF sensor and screw that sensor in to the plate. Then ez lynk can show the EGT temperature.
Clean install! Plan on deleting mines next year when the warranty is up. Watching other do the egr delete. Noticed you didn’t connect the exhaust sensor (second egr pipe you removed) to the plate with the set screw. Reason for that?
Fine job! Looks much better under the hood without that big contraption. Definitely in the works for mine. I better start spraying those bolts now. Mine is a 17 w/167k miles. If had it to do over, would you drain some of the coolant ahead of time? Or did it not lose that much?
Great video! Thanks! Do you have any experience with the Live Wire Tuner? Also do you know where a guy can get the dummy plugs for all the sensors you need to un plug? This might help protect the plugs if a guy would ever need to go back.
No, sorry. Only the auto agent 2! You should be able to search 6.7L dummy plugs online, but you could always use dielectric grease instead of plugs honestly.
I noticed your cold air intake..any issues with it? Tons of people will tell me it just sucks in hot air from under the hood and is not a good mod. What do you say? Thanks
No issues @Jimmer ! Too be honest, most cold air intakes suck in warm air. More air the better though, I am not worried about warm/hot air though. As long as it breathes well I am satisfied. I can hear my turbo more with it which means it's breathing better, and for that, its worth it to me.
@@MotorHead18 nice to know, thanks.....fyi, I put a sensor probe under the hood in the location of the cai, if the vehicle is moving the temps under the hood are almost identical to ambient.
Insanely difficult to find a tuner to get me the actual program to overwrite all the programming in the computer. The physical parts are not that hard to find, but the EPA has people scared. Congratulations tho !

Kroil is king! Makes PB look like water
Great video. I want to do mine too. Same year truck. I am hesitant though. 77,000 miles on mine. Thanks for the video.

Yup, he had a good point 👍🏽
Just did mine on the 1st of Dec , same year truck. Awesome video and very well worth it.
What benefits are you noticing? Please share!!
Looks and sounds good. I had the same thing done to my 6.7 Cummins and love it.
Hell yeah thanks bro

My kit was missing the adapter for it honestly. Once received I will mount that puppy up for sure!

No, not really. But I guess..why not

Had to subscribe 👍🏾
Help me understand you bought the kit but didn’t need a programmer? That’s awesome!
You need to watch my videos prior to this vid lol
@@MotorHead18 want to send me the link? what i can see is a video about an update on how your truck is doing?

I just did this today but I have minor bubbling around the rear block plate. I may have to scoop up another gasket
Yup, sounds like you have a leak. New gasket it is.
@@MotorHead18 it actually turned out to be the excess pb blaster we had to use to loosen the bolts
@@seanmcdonough4677 jeez, you must have drowned it
@@MotorHead18 hahahha yea. I kinda did. It was stuck and we were trying not to break it
I got the same kit for my 2019 the big rugged hose in the kit isn’t for our year correct I didn’t see you connect it in the video
Awesome bro, 16.4 mpgs on the 295s?
im getting 20mpg on 295s
No check engine lights after? Is it plug and play or do you need some tuning?
Definitely tuning required, but worth it to me.
I have the tunes and the tuners, I can't decide where to get my egr and dpf delete kit. Can you help me pls
Look me up on Instagram!
What mpg gains over stock are you seeing now that it’s completely deleted?
I haven't seen any increase lol the power is unreal
What tuner did you go with?
Auto agent 2
When I pulled that rear coolant hose it started dumping coolant. Did you lose alot of coolant when you pulled yours?
I did lose some but didn’t have to drain before. I knew there would be some regardless, so I went full send
I got nervous and just stuck it back on real quick. I had the tubes out so I was worried about that open rear port
What block off plates did you use, is there any difference in brands?
There are differences. Some have probe adapter and pass through for coolant.
@@MotorHead18 ordered mine from propower diesel hopefully I have no issues.
@@turtle7670 let me know how it goes
Did you install a tuner
Yes
What tunes are you running
Proven bro
So, no tuning required?
Yes, tuning is required to remove
