Great video! Even though I haven't been very consistent in playing it (and not getting as good as I want to), I absolutely LOVE Bloodborne! Lies of P, since it came out in Game Pass, has been on my radar to dive in as soon as I finish Bloodborne.
Been watching your channel for a while now, but, let's say, "in silent mode", not writing any comment. Today I decided to change that, because I wanted to express how much I like the way you approach games and the way you design your videos. And I must say that two of my favourites are "How to deal with your videogame backlog" (because I came back to playing videogames after a 20+ year hiatus...), and I have MANY games I want to play, and "How to Deal with Videogame Burnout". 😃
Thank you for coming up with such great content, and for helping me navigate the world of videogames (as a fellow baldie...). 😅

So good. I just finished ng++. I’m thinking about doing a fourth playthrough. (Lies of P is my first souls like that I’ve finished btw. I’ve tried actual from titles and other souls likes but I didn’t vibe with them)

Incredible game for sure! The game is a lot easier than the Souls games. Almost felt like its own thing to me.

Once I learned to block I felt the same. Definitely has it's own identity

As far as source material goes Lies is much more akin to the original book than the movie. To the point that the book is THE source material. They do a very good job of incorporating elements of it as well.

Nicely done video clear and to the point. I'm hoping to try this one out soon. How does it compare to sekiro in terms of difficulty. As I had a tough time with that game.

I didn't played sekiro, but in Lies if P there was only one boss that took 15 tries. And no one else could even break a threshold of 10. So I wouldn't say that this game is difficult or something. But it's damn lot of fun indeed...

Thanks! I found Sekiro to be tougher but to each their own and all that 😊

I’d say it’s a little easier than Sekiro but I have noticed that players results with this game vary on an extraordinary level. Everybody has a different boss they think is the toughest. For example, there is no clear “Melena” if you know Elden Ring.

Btw, the true joy of this game is that for some odd reason many people including me are compelled to beat it 5-85 times lmao! Very fun to keep going!

@@Captainfatcock I never managed to beat malenia but did finish the main game.

“I’ve seen a lot of opinion pieces saying the game is too hard, *and just as many saying it’s too easy*
No, you haven’t that’s absolute bullshit. There are leagues more people saying the game is too hard than too easy. What a silly thing to say

my fave games r dark souls 1 and 3 , cause of replayablity...if u dont care about replayabilty, lies of p is better.
