It’s a landmark in terms of art direction. The gameplay is incredibly satisfying. The OST is masterful. The lore is terrifying and mysterious. People that started with Elden Ring don’t realise that this game came out directly after DS1 (I’m aware DS2 came out first but DS1 and BB were directed by Miyazaki). The jump in quality is crazy, it invented the multi-stage boss fight while still having quite simple and some gimmick bosses. It has the style of the old school games and design like DeSo and DS1 while bringing the intensity of DS3 and ER, all the while having its own unique style and identity. It’s a crime against humanity if Sony or From never touch this franchise again.
Your so underrated friend I’m definitely going to subscribe to you i think you summed up why most people love the game I love it personally for the speed and aggressive gameplay
I’m still playing bloodborne to this day. I just enjoy the world and the environment. There’s really nothing like it. Despite dark souls. Nothing will feel as fast and exhilarating as this game.
Witcher 3 may have won the GOTY of 2015, but Bloodborne was the better game in every important aspect in my opinion. And for today's standards, bloodborne would still feel fresh if it released today, while witcher would feel hella outdated
I personally think The Witcher 3 still holds up amazingly well today even though it was released nearly 10 years ago! While I agree that Bloodborne does nearly everything better individually, The Witcher just comes together in a way that is so profound and much better than the sum of its parts IF IT RESONATES WITH YOU. The story has an emotional poignancy that can hardly be replicated. Bloodborne is a very sound and tight game where The Witcher is indulgent and expansive. There truly is nothing like The Witcher if it captivates you and you get so much more when you're really invested and immersed in the story. To me, it really feels like Polish medieval open world Mass Effect with less RPG but with better writing (I could never get into ME even after 40h of just the first one, but perhaps I should give a shot to a Renegade playthrough, Paragon just felt so stiff and boring to me). I could also never get invested in the characters of Mass Effect with the stiff writing and acting where the characters in The Witcher are fun and playful and have 8 books and three games of lore and storytelling behind them. Just like OG FFVII did for many people back in the 90s, The Witcher really showed me the potential of videogames as powerful devices to tell profound and meaningful stories. However, because of its emphasis on world, characters and story, The Witcher 3 is destined not to be enjoyed by everybody, where Bloodborne has pillars that might be easier to digest for a wider audience with its amazing visuals, atmosphere and gameplay. Those two games, with FFVII Remake will definitely stand as my most impactful videogames experience ever, but The Witcher 3 really just found me at the right time and as so stands apart by far as the most important one for me.
As someone who didn’t have a ps4, I’d be willing to pay too dollar to experience this game as a PC port. Shame the corporate overlords want to deprive themselves of the money in my wallet.
Its.. its the same game brother. Youre playing the ps4 pro version. Thats it. Sony themselves has said every ps4 game will play as if its on ps4 pro for ps5. Theres no 60fps boost or quicker load times. Its all the same.

The lore is exceptional tbf. Might do a video one day but it would definitely need a whole video to itself 😂
Bloodborne is the only reason I still own a ps4 and have not sold it
I respect that 👍
You can literally play it on ps5
Hmmmmm
Play it on ps5
same, reason i bought a ps4
Good video! You earned a subscriber!!
Thank you! Welcome aboard 😊
The moment I noticed that the world, creatures, sounds etc. slightly changes after some insight was the most thrilling moment of my gaming life.
It’s very cool, but I can do without the massive alien spiders everywhere😂
Yeah that Orphan of Kos fight is...intense.
So much screams

Its what got me into souls games

Exhilarating! Excellent word for it 👍
I didn't understand why people were so obsessed witht the game until i played then holy shite i was hooked

100% this! I missed the boat with both games at the time but tried them both during lockdown and the Witcher was a real struggle 😕
Yeah Witcher 3 don't got shit on bloodborne, bloodborne is a masterpiece of art and deeply reflective of human experiences and our suffering
Bloodborne was just not mainstream enough at that time. To me it would've deserved GOTY as well.

It should come out in 2068.
*sees title*. Its pretty self explanatory ngl
great explanation, thanks for contributing friend.

Bloodborne reborn on PS5 mannn it's silky smooth..

Give it to me
In buttheads voice - cool
Hehehe
I think it’s basically just the aesthetic and faster action
Its the decent into madness the hunter and thus the player experiences. By the end, you realise real life's not so bad and go out and touch grass.
This is one of the best Bloodborne summaries I have ever read 👌
best game ever made.
