- Snow is on the horizon so in this video we take the first step in getting ready for the snow season.
I will be installing the Boss VBX 8000 Spreader(pintle chain) in the bed of my Ram 3500 dump truck. I'm so glad I had my guys Piper and Talon to help because we ran into some problems.
Take a look at how we solve the problems and install this spreader before the upcoming snow storm.
Thanks for watching 💯 HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

My man💯💯💯 THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT SEAN🙏🏽 I APPRECIATE IT 💯🫡
I was today years old when I learned about the rest prevention and how important it is.
You’re lucky to have a friend like Piper, he’s got a great attitude and is a tremendous help to you.
It’s funny bc my 9 year old niece is named Piper, and we call her “pipes” all the time just like you do with the giant Piper.
Lol me too …I know now tho so next year ill take care of it way better 4sure
Getting it done. Before you know it we will be taking the salter out.
Yessir💪🏽🫡
It appears in the video your spreader isn’t far enough back. The stainless lip on the bottom should be at the edge of you bed. The middle stands on the spreader are not touching the bed.
Yup you’re right…after the video I figured that out at 2:30am just before we got a lil snow 😂😂😂 It’s been adjusted now …You’ve got a keen 👁️ my friend 💯🫡
Yooo new subscriber cant wait to see more video i also own my own landscaping company
Nice …I hope you have a great 2024 💯🫡
Yea those latch things always get rusted up stuck.
I never use it that way either so it never dawned on me that it even needed greased or anything 🤦🏽♂️😂
@@mack_landscaping412 right exactly what happens. You lucked out I’ve had to use heat, crow bars and sledgehammers before haha.
@@micheal4487 Bro I went tried to get it loaded at 2:00am and the place wasn’t open yet so I went to my shop and that’s when I found out it wasn’t back far enough😳…I woulda been screwed with 2tons loaded and then realizing I needed to move it back 😂😂😂😂
@@mack_landscaping412 oh that would have been fun. Get out the shovels if that happened.
Great video Mack! I am a new viewer on the channel so welcome me in my name is Tyler

Do you need a CDL for those dunp trucks yall drive ??
Nope I don’t …as long as your total weight is under 26,000lbs you don’t need a CDL
