Yep van vulnerability has always been a worry, at the end of the day like at home all you can do is try and make yours less vulnerable than the next van... q's you face are how far do you go and what you want to pay
I really didn't think about that much while building our campervan and posting the videos online. People now know where all our hiding spots are. We do have security cams, but now I am thinking we need to install a safe. SMH
After that fabulous parking job in tight Milan lot. You said it best re the break in: sort yourself out. Broken glass, so terrible. Life is difficult enough. I always wonder, why add to the difficulty? So sorry this happened.
So thankful y’all didn’t suffer any consequences. Would’ve been heartbreaking. On a side note, what brand is your toilet as it has a nice big cassette?
PS we toured Florence, Bari etc in Italy and honestly it was so rough, it was just like dodgy areas of the uk. And they HATE foreigners and we were verbally abused just walking down to the beach in Bari. Honestly we’ve never experienced anything like it anywhere else in Europe. We got really put off Italy and ended up going back to Spain
That’s so horrible in regards to the robberies/break ins. I know that locals in Italy look at license plates and if it’s a foreign plate they feel entitled to break in and smash it up. What’s so sad is they don’t think about the fact that a lot of people actually live full time in their vans as their home and are often lower income people, so kicking people whilst they’re down is just evil :( PS remove the uk stickers when parking up
In my opinion I'd say it's illegal immigrants/migrants/fake asylum seekers. The crimes across UK and Europe are rife by these people (call me racist all ya like... I ain't but hey ho). Facts and figures speak the truth. The whole "diversity is our strength" is out of hand now. They get everything for free and hence feel they can also take anything for free. No respect for the people or country that they are in
Take your average car. Radio Take your average van? An abundance of riches. Radio. Sat nav. All the charging kit. Oh and maybe a Starlink or two. Jackpot.

Thanks for watching, 🚐👍 That’s a good question, how much to spend on security and is it worth it?
In places like that there's someone always watching waiting for the owners to leave. Spain is bad like that too.
Thanks for watching. That’s awful, we were glad to get out of there. 😧🚐

Thanks for watching. The safety of the vans contents is a concern, but the more security you have the better. 🚐👍
Man.. that’s so sad to see, stay safe out there!
Thanks for watching. Appreciate your words. 👍🚐

Thanks so much for watching! It’s awful to see this happening firsthand. 🚐 Our toilet has a 20l hold capacity. 👍🏼🚽
@@kimmieandjohn could you expand on that? I’m in the US so it’s a bit Greek lol.
Oh I get it duh!!!🙄 you’re saying it’s a 20 liter cassette?
Sorry,
You can do!
Dog saund (barking) alarms. With mouton dedections.
Meen you can sleep more relaxed.
Thanks, that’s a great idea. 🚐👍
On the up side: Milan, Venice and Florence. You’re certainly seeing Italy. Maybe too much? I hope you can get some rest yourself.
Italy 🇮🇹 definitely gave us a lot to talk about. 🚐👍🏼

Its such a shame that travellers get targetted, just puts people off and down goes tourist income
Thanks for watching. It was definitely an eye opener. 🚐👋
Do you film on phone? If so what is that mic you use please?
Thanks for watching, We film on a GoPro Hero 12 and use the DJI mics with it. 🚐👍
