    Thanks for the video you just saved me a roadside tow and 3 weeks without a tractor. Sitting in a Pilot on a full DERATE because of a DEF sensor error. Road squad was useless! I pulled my doser valve sprayed it with brake cleaner to clean it and I was back on the road in 45 minutes. Couldn't have done it without you 👌

    Thanks for all the videos you put out. I have a 2014 T680 mx13 and I have been told this valve is stuck open and I have def leaking from the front pipe. It looks like this valve is the underside of the truck. If I try to replace myself do I need to have someone with a laptop do anything with the ECM after it's installed. Currently no check engine light or lights on.

      You should look in the OTR performance deals. I have a video on it. They are amazing. Always you to clear codes and force a regen and get your truck out of derate modes without spending $4000 on a scan tool. With it and a cheap code reader it can allow you to save thousands of dollars on repairs and be able to avoid high dollar tow bills due to derate

    Use hose clamping tools like that in some shops and they run you off. The reason, it weakens the hoses and makes them crack/burst when hot. Be sure to see your shop policies before using them. My dealer will fire you on the spot.

    • @willmann30
      @willmann30 5 років тому +1

      That's why shop fees are insane. In order to do this either you'll drain the system or take off the the doser with hoses attached then install the new doser. With a second person quickly disconnect and connect the lines on the new doser. Crack the reservoir to release any pressure beforehand. Penske former tech here!

    I am facing a strange problem with def system of paccar mx13. Went to several mechanics and dealers. Spent a lot of money but cant find the problem. Truck shows a fmi18 spn 4364 and when we connect tool it shows aftertreatment 1 outlet O2, data drifted high. So first dealer changed my O2 sensir and cleared the codes. After driving it for 800 miles the light came up again with same codes . Same thing showed up on davis. So the this dealer changed my doser and cleard the codes. After driving for 800 miles the code came on again . What do you suggest ? I got new dpf filters in there too by some mechanic.
