Very rarely do I watch UA-cam videos start to finish in one go but this video, Phil, was the exception! Really enjoyed the views and the commentary and have subscribed to yours, Rick and Tony’s channels. Brilliant, thank you. Only wish I could do it nowadays but disability prevents although still enjoy watching outdoorsy stuff videos!
Richard, comments like this make it worth while, this is the only reason I make videos, mainly so I can watch them when I’m unable to get out. Knowing someone else is taking pleasure in what I do means a great deal to me, thank you 👍
No defo not shite, great photos very good indeed and it looked bitter when you pitched, you could see hour hands and the camera shaking - are you sure it was only -0.9C. I bet that cognac went down a treat mind and I bet it as great looking at the stars but too much tent time for me and too bloody cold as well. Fresh morning and that snow looked very picturesque and I remember climbing up to Seat Sandal in the summer on a boiling hot day and trying to get a bit of shelter from the sun at Grisdale Tarn lol. Love the way you say we are going to 'run' up Seat Sandal, no wonder you pull your calf muscle (I just watched your Alcock Tarn video again before this) but fair play to you all as I remember it was quite steep on the way up. Great ptotos at the end too, cheers Alan
Haha I didn’t really run up lol….. I was cold when I first got camp set up but that first brew soon warms you up, temps dropped to -3 but to be fair I was really warm in the tent. It was an epic adventure Alan and the calf’s holding up so far. Thanks very much for watching mate, really appreciate it buddy 👍
That was a cracking camp Phil. Perfect winter conditions and a nice bit of snow. Great video, drone footage and photos👌I think it’s great that you always remind people to look after the outdoors and leave no trace. Looking forward to more outings Phil ⛺️🌲❄️👌
Nice one Joe, yes mate it was an epic weekend in some great conditions. Given we are advertising the outdoors on social media I feel it’s our responsibility to remind people on how to look after the great outdoors so it’s always there for everyone 👍
Beltin!! What a fantastic start to 2024...it had a bit of everything - a truly 'epic' weekend topped off with some fabulous company - cracking video as always, caught the mood and atmosphere perfectly - Can't wait for the next one - Cheers mate 👍👍 - T🙂
Mint film Phil, some cracking footage n loved the stills at the end 👌. Was a great trip with a bit of everything in there. The colours at the start were ace and a total contrast to what we awoke to on Sunday morning. I thought you captured it brilliantly. Was Great to see you two in your element in the evening taking some fantastic pics. Nice one Phil, atb Rick 👍
HI Phil, cracking video mate, a lovely route, we did the first part when we did the deepdale horseshoe a couple of months ago. Cheers for sharing your adventure as always. All the best Dave
Proper do lads. I had all clobber on today just to go in town. Two inches of snow was not enough to close Preston off but did slow traffic. I shall be up ont fells this weekend though. New crampons for me and car to test out. I was always interested to know how St. Sunday got it's name. Take care fella. Great video as per.
Cheers Mark, yes mate it was a top adventure, tough though. Enjoy your trip next weekend and take care 👍 I’m still to find out where the name come from 🤔 Thanks for watching ATB
