My factory Scorpions on the Norden are pretty beat up and I leave for Colorado on Friday. Was hoping to get some of these but I already blew my budget and settled for a Kenda Big Block. Once it wears out I think this will be my next tire.
I have the Tractionator GPS on my 390 ADV, All I have to compare it to is The previous tire which was the Battleaxe. I love these tires. I did air down to 26-29 psi on both the front and rear.
Why would you air up off road?? You should’ve aird up back on the road when it felt sluggish but no tire is good at 44 lbs off road. This is a terrible review. Air the hell down to 35 and see what happens off road.

Holy crap, air down to at least 30psi off-road. The Motoz carcass is very stiff so you don’t need to have such high psi
I had that tire and I ran it down as low as 20 lbs off road. It lasted pretty well, but did get noisy toward the end of its life

Proper adventure tyres don't really need to have the air pressure adjusted between road and off road. it's designed to work at road pressure.

Maybe you missed the part where he said the area he rides is back and forth on/off road. It is not practical to constantly be airing up and down.
