For your Asian noodles recipe, olive oil has too low of smoke point. If you're doing high heat, consider peanut or canola oil. Sesame oil is a great flavor infuser.
I'm Greek and we use olive oil for almost everything. I regularly make stir fries with olive oil and there is absolutely no problem with my olive oil. I don't even notice it's there. Always comes out delicious. So it depends on your tastes and the quality of the olive oil.
I think he went with ingredients that are easily available in British supermarkets. Olive oil is just more common (and often cheaper) than peanut and sesame seed oil. Rapeseed oil (canola for Americans) is IMO a big nono because of how inflammatory it is for the bowel. Plus Gordon is addicted to his olive oil. He uses it everywhere (even where one really should use butter).
Also, instead of using the soy sauce on the meat and broccoli. You wanna throw them all in 1pan then soy sauce it up. Other then that the noodles don't have as much flavor as it can have.
@@karenyakovich7284 I've done it with and without washing the rice. I've found blasting the rice without rinsing, as Gordon does in the video, gives the rice a lot more flavour than rinsing beforehand.
“ scratching the non stick pans with metal utensils doesn’t only add specs of black Teflon, it also seasons the dish with extremely carcinogenic materials…. Beautiful! “
If Gordon could make something for lunch that’s quick , simple, cheap, delicious and able to have it with different ingredients to mix it up a bit that would be amazing
I've made this gnooci recipe myself at home, I didn't have a ricer I just mashed it. But it was a huge hit it's a stick to your rib kind of thing but it's not heavy on your belly like store-bought is it's much lighter on your stomach but still very filling and absolutely delicious. I had some of the leftover gnocchi noodles and I actually while they were cold I made bacon the next day and then I fried them up in bacon almost like you would do with a spaetzle. And no joke it was the most delicious breakfast I have had in years.
@@getz29 honestly I just slowly added flour until I started to get like a pretty dough like consistency but I didn't really need that much to be honest I think it was maybe about a cup of flour for every two large potatoes maybe a little less honestly. Really when making it you're trying to look for a consistency so the flower amount can change depending on how wet the potatoes are how humid the air is that you're working in it's just something that you just kind of figure out as you're going along. But I would say just slowly add the flour until you have something that's a little bit looser than a cookie dough but not quite a bread dough consistency? Almost like if you were making a pasta dough that's kind of the consistency you're looking for. At least that's the consistency I was looking for and got and my results were amazing
Hey! Who ever sees this…Switch your mentality from "I'm lazy and helpless" to "I'm growing and healing" and watch how your life changes for the better. 💪🏽🔥
I have always assummed that Gordon's recipes were complicated due to his atrticulateness. He surprised me with these effortlessness recipes with less budget ingredients and time spent on the stove❤ thank you
It was the first time I saw how to make gnocchi. It wasn't as difficult as I thought, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm looking forward to more ideas videos that you can easily make even difficult recipes at home! Big Thanks! Chef Gordon!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
From 1:11 to about 1:22, Looking down at the chicken, rolling over it and pressing it down can get one's imagination going south. Love his cooking, tried many of his yummy recipes
That gnocchi isn’t a lunch box recipe, that’s a 3hour Sunday dinner. Who’s got time to make that up for your lunch the next day… Spicy sausage one looks tremendous though!
Omg I watch all possible shows of Chef Ramsey. I love them all! Gosh I wish I could have these awesome pots and pans! Omg!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Gordon inspires to cook. the minute details in his commentary doesn't allow you to fast forward the video. I have a question why didn't he wash the rice.
Wow, just learned a new and totally improved way of cutting up a capsicum, not the only thing I took away, but everyone else teaches other ways how to cut a capsicum/pepper and you lose a lot of product or you have to wet it further to wash off the seeds....a capsicum chef is my little wonder moment of awesomeness that you taught ne today.
I will never use rice noodles again. I didn't know the would be a clumpy mess. But the rest of the stir fry was delicious. Tonight the potato gnocci!! Thx for the walk throughs of the recipes.
I always love your quick and easy recipes. I've tried several and they are so delicious and the family loves them. Thank-you for making these how to videos and they are budget friendly.
This will change the Quality of my Life for at least 2 month!! Thank you Gordon.. Ps this is my first Gordon Video and i am a huge Fan from now on❤️ Greetings ✌️ and pleaase dont stop making content
i imagine Gordon narrating his life: door open, walk through it, shut it, incredible.
😂😂😂
Lmaooo I actually do this because he’s soooo funny to me 😂 makes life a little better
Bread in the toaster, season it beautifully
Lol 😂
ROTFLMAO!!!
10:43 To this day I am still convinced that Gordon just calls any random amount of olive oil a tablespoon
I thought the same, he put at least 3 tbs 😅
A touch
just a tea spoon😅
😊

Same!
I've seen Gordon do this 12 to 15 times. AND haven't done it once but...it never gets stale. The key to a great recipe

I just baked frozen chicken strips in the oven, then microwaved ramen noodles (even though the box says don't) and microwaved frozen vegetables
@@Coffeeisnecessarynowpepper you’re the real Gordon Ramsay he’s just an imposter!

i agree with you but its gordon I dont think he is able to cook without olive oil😅

Also, instead of using the soy sauce on the meat and broccoli. You wanna throw them all in 1pan then soy sauce it up. Other then that the noodles don't have as much flavor as it can have.
I've made the spicy sausage rice twice now and it gets better each time. Incredible dish. 10/10
right fat boy.
I cant wait to try this. I'm making this next week.
Do you not rinse the rice?

That and using olive oil for noodles is a crime 😂
Looks great though I would eat it still 😂
@@thorpeaxYou are right in that particular dish, but you know where pasta is coming from, do you?
Gordon you answer my prayers, I was looking for this exact type of thing for lunches this year and I’m so ready to use these recipes
If Gordon could make something for lunch that’s quick , simple, cheap, delicious and able to have it with different ingredients to mix it up a bit that would be amazing
I mean if you need cheaper and simpler then that stir fry for fresh food you might as well stay with frozen foods
If you can't do noodle/ rice stir fry fot into those categories, you should just stick to eating out.
Check out some slow-cooker recipes just to throw something into a crock pot and that's it. You just set it, AND FORGET IT! Lol.
You can lead a horse to water. Can't make it drink.

I was you in the library. When I was with my support work Gordon 😁
This is great, minus the scraping of that teflon poison pan.
They have ceramic coated pans now which are safer
It's not teflon
As a new mom I love these videos. No frozen food will be given
The broccoli is RAW!
Annnd you eat raw broccoli in vegetable platters at picnics, don't you?

I just cooked the Chicken Stir Fry with noodles for lunch. My husband and I loved it. It took me 30 minutes. Thank you #gordonramsay
It came out well with just soy sauce? Seems like you'd need something extra like Asian wine and oyster sauce or something
Gordon Ramsey is so passionate with his cooking,I just love listening to him ❤
Thank you so much. All three dishes are delectable

That is actually the most stupidest way to gut a pepper.
I cooked the Gnocchi - they are so great and easy - I ate them with spinach and pumpkin
