Very Rusty And Broken German Bayonet Restoration.
I found this rusty broken bayonet on an old road in the woods. It lay underground for 80 years. The bayonet is broken, probably by a heavy truck or tank. I decided to restore the bayonet. Bayonet for a Mauser K98 rifle, World War II. I removed the rust, restored the blade and preserved the old iron. I hope you liked my restoration.

Very nice work! I was impressed that you were able to fix the rifle mount latch. Nice touch with the "Erkennungsmarke." 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Galician). Mostly Ukrainian soldiers, as I recall. Your work is always very nice.
