    Looks great! I am doing a similar thing but opted for two 10000mah batteries due to digital noise from a pedal that doesn't like to be daisy-chained. Actually two 10000mah rechargeables were cheaper than one 20000mah anyway. Thanks for the great video!

      Hi Adam, thanks for watching! the 2 batteries is a very smart idea I wish I had it ;) . I've also run into some daisy chain/digital noise problems when adding a Wha and ended up buying a Timelord from the gig rig to get some isolation.

    This is everything and extremely helpful!

    Also, it would be very helpful to add links to each part used in the description.

      Everything is available from Amazon in the UK, but those links wouldn't work for any other country

    @paolo marelli Does it matter which output of the power bank you use? Does it last longer, if I take one with lower Watts?

    • @PaoloMarelliGuitar
      @PaoloMarelliGuitar  2 місяці тому

      The USB C is the only one that can power the HX Stomp and it has to say that it is PD (power delivery) to work

      @@PaoloMarelliGuitar alright, mine got 1 USB and 2 USB Cs, the Cs do work. How long does the Powerbank last when you start playing at 100%?

    • @PaoloMarelliGuitar

      @torbenfreeman9085 I would say at least 5 to 6 hours if not more. My gigs are normally 2 hours, I turn it on when I set up and off when I finish so it stays on for at least 2 and 1/2 hours and it never gets below 75%

    Great info! Interesting about having more than one port to use on the battery? Question, how to switch off the battery draw and how do you recharge?

    • @PaoloMarelliGuitar
      @PaoloMarelliGuitar  3 роки тому +1

      at the moment I use the USB C port for the Mission Engineering 529m that powers the HX Stomp, and one of the USB A port for the MC6 and my SPD One Kick.
      The HX Stomp has a switch to turn it off, the rest I just unplug to stop the power drawing.
      To recharge I just use the 65W charger that came with the Power Bank

    Can you charge the bank while playing? Or is there excess noise from charging at the same time?

    • @PaoloMarelliGuitar
      @PaoloMarelliGuitar  Рік тому

      Unfortunately the power bank I use doesn't allow that, but I'm sure there's newer power banks that allow you to do that

    do you need the mission 529 if you have a ripcord?

    • @PaoloMarelliGuitar
      @PaoloMarelliGuitar  Рік тому

      Make sure your Ripcord delivers enough mA for your HX Stomp, if it does you don’t need 529

    hi can i use that for 8 boss pedals without hum and noise?

    • @PaoloMarelliGuitar
      @PaoloMarelliGuitar  2 роки тому

      If you daisy chain lots of pedals you risk noise, especially if any of them is digital. Look into the mission engineering 529i it has an integrated battery and 8 isolated output

      @torbenfreeman9085 2 місяці тому

      @@PaoloMarelliGuitar Why an aditional USB to 9V adapter... isn't that the job of the 529, because you go in with USB C and it transforms it to 9v?

    • @PaoloMarelliGuitar
      @PaoloMarelliGuitar  2 місяці тому +1

      @torbenfreeman9085 I didn’t want to daisy chain anything to the HX Stomp being the only pedal that actually has audio through it o didn’t want to have any other noise coming through it also to be sure it had enough power at all times

    Also no explanation what usb "PD" is 🤷‍♂️

      Sorry about the close ups, I'll keep that in mind for other videos.
      About USB PD it only means Power Delivery, on any power bank specs it'll tell you if it has such port. And it's the kind of port you need to power the Mission Engineering 529m

    Thank you very much for the info, would this still be enough if I add an aeros loop and a beat buddy drum machine? Does the hx stomp have an octaver as an effect in it?

    • @PaoloMarelliGuitar
      @PaoloMarelliGuitar  3 роки тому +1

      Yes the HX Stomp has a quite good octaver in it.
      The Mission engineering 529m let's you draw 3000ma from the battery, so it should cover 800ma for the stomp, 300ma for the BeatBuddy and 400 for the Aeros Looper that is about 1500 in total.
