Yay! A recipe that uses steaming, and one that I can easily follow. Thank you!

Hi Vivienne, some recipes add corn flour in making the mochi skin. Your recipe only used glutinous flour. Do you know if there Is there any difference it makes to the mochi skin if corn flour is added? Thanks!

Hello… how can I pre cook the glutinous rice flour at home( flour that you used for rolling the stuffed ball at the end)?
    I can’t find in store.
My mom has passed and I wished I learnt how to make this . I have been looking for a recipe that is classic so thank you for posting. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Does the glutinous rice flour that you dust on the board when working with the dough need to be cooked? I watched a few recipes seems like cannot eat glutinous rice flour raw?

Yes that’s correct, sorry I should edit that in my video! You can buy precooked glutinous rice flour in the local Asian supermarket. Hope it helps!
