I tried making these, turned out beautiful and perfect texture. One question...how to store coating flour ? Had lots of leftovers after coating 12 balls produced.
Has anyone tried both the method of boiling the balls and this method of steaming the dough - and would be willing to share which method yields better results ... soft and chewy. This method is more difficult because the dough is very sticky to work with (using the plastic bag is very clever) ... unless coated with flour like here. But my family likes the rice balls coated with coconut flakes instead of flour. Thank you for this video.

50g wheat starch
75g castor sugar
1.5 tbsp oil
450ml water
sieve, onto greased tray, steam 25 mins medium heat. 35g each ball
