This guitar lesson takes an in-depth look at the live version of "I'm Gonna Find Another You" from the "Where the Light Is" DVD filmed at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California on December 8, 2007. It features my downloadable transcription of the song shown onscreen measure by measure for you to follow along. There is a short comparison of the improvised solos from a show a few weeks later in Dallas. At the end of the lesson I have thrown in the long Improvised solo John does as a long intro going into the tune which is only shown on the live DVD of that show.
Here is a reference video of the performance: • Video

It was my dream to play WTLI. Thanks to you, my dream is coming true. I hope to see your slow dancing in the burning room WTLI tutorial someday. I am Korean and it is the first time in my life to write comments on foriegn channels. I'm always grateful to you.
Check out Jamie Harrison he has it
That intro really emphasizes just how beautiful that Gibson sounds. The tone doesn’t compare without it
Gibson? No way. He played a strat in his earlier years

thank you for putting the time into this. Very helpful
"Lotta chords, eh?" John Mayer loves to do those, doesn't he? St. Patrick's Day & Comfortable are two that I play a lot and man, they're both just a ton of chords, some kinda whacky ones too... Thanks for doing these amazing videos.
I learned how to play neon from this legend ❤️❤️
Good teaching skills for this kind of format…..thank you
This is awesome ❤️🔥.. Happy new year brother 🎉

Thanks for all you do!
Hey man! I am in love with your tutorials! Thank you for everything! Can you please do a tutorial on one of the best John Mayer solos of all time? I am talking about the solo he did back in 2017 in O2 arena with his song changing. If you haven’t listened to it , you really should. It is this amazing, gilmourish, awesome solo. Thank you already!
Same here - thank you! I saw the Hit The Tone episode on the Thomann's Guitar and Basses channel and thought hm, who would have an accurate tab and lesson on this? Very pleased to see Zartimus just has one coming up today :-)
Excellent lesson! Many thanks! Very appreciated!
the man came back
*Happy New Year!* 🥳
This is beautiful
dude this is AMAZING!
Zartimus, you are perfection!
Man you're awesome thanks so much for this❤️❤️🔥🔥🎶🎸
Please, please, please do Bold As Love.
These are absolutely wonderful. Very thankful for these.
Just wanted to point out that a better name for the D#m6b5 would be D#dim7. Dim7 chords have a double flat 7 which would be the same note as the 6. Cool thing with dim7 chords is that you can go up 3 frets with the same shape and it’s the same chord, just an inversion. Try it out 😊
I was scrolling for this comment, I was so confused 😂
The dim7 is a great chord… there are only 4 of them, and each one can transport you to 8 different keys, 4 Major, 4 Minor. One of my favorite chords.
Really great lesson!! Thanks
all hail Zartimus,! ...Thanks a bunch for these great songs!
Best new year present
Thank U for your's toutorials and good mood,man ^_^

Man, this is crazy!!

Bro, you just made this 2021 fucking better, thanks man!!!!!!!!
Awesome! Tks a lot!
How are these lessons free? My gratitude is through the roof, I would have expected to pay for these type of lessons. You are in need of a medal in Mayerology.
Thanks for this tutorial I learn most of my Mayer songs from you lol. What about a tutorial for the solo from the YSD Jam session, Cafe 13 David Ryan Harris with John Mayer and friends.
Oh nice playin it with your "blackie'! Amazing as always Dave! Or more formally addressed as Dr. Z! - TFletch
Well done Sir. Subbed. 🎸
God I love you man
Esperaba este video hace años xd
Amazing!! Can you please teach us Belief live In LA or live at the crossroads festival? he has awesome solos in both 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Where can I find that Dallas Christmas Eve slide solo?!?
Oh, that's on www.jmfan.com/. It's a fantastic collection of old John Mayer bootlegs. I comb it for different live versions if I can't hear a part clearly. It's a big torrent I downloaded years ago.

Isn't a D#m with a flat 5 a diminished chord. Shouldn't we call the chord D#dim6?
I posted a reply to this but the chord would be better called a D#dim7. A dim7 chord has a double flat 7 which is the the “same” note as the 6 degree.
