Love the format. Enough information in a short, to the point video. More Mayer content please! Maybe love on the weekend? Love to hear your take on the tone for that.
I find that I get really close to his tone he had on that Gibson L-5 from the ‘Where The Light Is’ live version with my PRS Silver Sky using the neck pickup and rolling the toneknob down to like 3 or something low. Just straight into the amp like that or with a tubescreamer (TS-9) both sound really sick and I use that for a lot of more jazzy blues tones, works great for George Benson too!
@@ThomannsGuitarsBasses il n’y a pas de quoi, tout est top, l’ambiance, le choix des riffs, le principe avec le matos, le son, la pédagogie, le format de la vidéo. Idem avec Kris, j’en manque pas une ! 👍🏻
Great sound, great playing. For that kind of song, I would prefere, that you name the chords and position, where you play them. Some of them are not so easy for me to identify. PS: Im waiting for flood of comments: "This is Fleetwood Mac I need your love so bad". No people, it is not, both are Blues in A played in 6/8 rythm, but not the same song.
Hey Stan, thanks for your comment, and noted on the chords, the next progression like that I won't miss it! And yeah I'm already seeing some other blues in A 6/8 songs here, so that should be fun 😂// Guillaume
Oh, here's the Mayer episode related to that album on the back Thank you for being so patient with them Mayer fans Do Another kind of green I want you to pull out that Strat
