@@OrientalPearl Hi, sorry to jump on someone else's comment, but I have an issue and i'm not sure if it is common or not. I started learning Spanish a few years ago, and spent a lot of time in the country, but it seems the more Spanish I learn the worse my English is getting (and I'm native English!). My spelling has gone all out of the window, I'm randomly throwing in Spanish words (especially when there is a double 'LL', or rolling 'R's involved), and it just feels like things are falling out of my head! Do you think thats normal with languages, or should I book a brain scan? 🤪

I have watched Pearl several years now. Other than her obviously superb language skills - I also noticed how skillfully she met new people. The way she read the context and nuance of her surroundings, and chose the perfect timing to engage - as well as knowing when to move along. Brilliant!

I teach in corporate environments. It's totally true that people have attention spans of a few seconds to maybe 1 minute. It's very hard to teach complex concepts now. I am very concerned about where the world is going right now. I have been studying the Korean culture, history and language for 12 years now, but I am 58, not 20 something. that means I have the attention span necessary to learn a language, I have always been good learning languages. For me, it has taken normal level of efforts and some support from friends or programs like she talks about.

Another banger here! I must say (from first hand experience) You are so friendly and approachable and the fact you can communicate in their native language makes it all the more special.. The free food tour looked good haha
I just love your videos because you are such a genuinely nice and kind person. People react positively to you because they sense this. I am sure that you will get to one million subscribers in no time! Your content is always so interesting and professionally done.
I got really turned off by some of these big "I speak so many languages look how shocked they are!" channels, because they clearly only know a few phrases, and it's obnoxious and disingenuous. I randomly clicked on your video like two weeks ago, and I'm blown away. You clearly have a deep grasp on the languages you speak, and your videos are much better than those other fake language videos. Thanks!
Anming it’s just fun to see people’s reactions. I’m a native New Yorker and I always offer my help to “lost” tourists. Most of the time they are very surprised that a native is helping them and they are all very very thankful. My best encounter was when a European stopped me dead in my tracks & pointed up and asked what was on the roof of a building? It was a watertower which dots the NYC landscape. He got a history lesson and I got a fun memory! 😊
I live in the midwest and work with a surprisingly large Japanese population in my city as customers (I work in retail) and when I show them that I know some Japanese (sukoshi!) the reaction is consistently surprised most of the time. I've only had a few instances where they weren't super surprised and excited to talk to me. I know you want to do other kinds of videos so I will obviously support all of them because you were one of the channels that helped me stay on my path and study consistently for 6 months now. Arigato gozaimasu!
When I resided in Japan, you get some people who are genuinely (or feign to) surprised that you can speak a single word of Japanese. But most Japanese aren't surprised at all if you speak Japanese. They will be if you speak to native or fully fluent level, however, because that is pretty rare.
So proud of myself as I could understand some Chinese! I love languages and when I surprise others some are shocked some are only relieved as they were struggling to explain themselves and I came to the rescue! I love your videos as they represent me very much!
Nothing wrong about knowing that day to day usually the reactions are not as crazy as the best ones you share online. I just think it's natural that people on the streets speak the native language where ever it is in the world, so not being surprised about it is natural. Of course, it's super joyous to witness people reacting very positively - and it's so fun, thanks for all your videos.
In my language tangarines are called 'mandarins'(мандарини), I'm from Bulgaria, I'm good in English and German, now I'm learning Russian, Suomi and Korean; I hope I'm gonna be smart enough to learn some Korean. You are really WOW gal! 💜
I'm really glad that you show both sides to your vids. It's the same in the US when you're from up north like myself and you go down south; the people are so surprised that you're in their neck of the woods and they start up a nice conversation with you; I love it! And, most people are so friendly all over the states (all over the world, too!).
I love how You speak all these foreign languages, which are indeed so difficult for people from English speaking or European countries, because they are so different. I know only two foreign languages, namely English and German (and some words in French). But would like to learn some more foreign languages in future. It's interesting but of course it's also hard work, especially when You start with a completely new language.
@@OrientalPearl Do you find Chinese to be any easier than Japanese and Korean? Personally I have a much easier time with Mandarin because proper syntax doesn't generally require such a rigid structure between objects/adjectives/verbs, so it is a lot easier to speak completely nonsensical sentences. I also have a difficult time using the proper part of speech, such as frequently using "wa" when it should be "ga."
Honestly, just everyday conversation would be fantastic to listen to! I find it greatly helpful for understanding Mandarin (plus it always warms my heart to see such friendly interactions).
Very inspiring I’m trying to learn Spanish and it’s great to see you interact with people in conversational languages I don’t need to conjugate verbs. I just wanna speak to people in their native languages. Love from Canada. 🇨🇦
I love how this video also showed the more mundane and casual moment. Not just the typical youtube clickbait "Foreigner shocks Chinese people with flawless Mandarin" but also the more boring moments where people go about their loves. You are SO REAL for this!
I hope you reach one million subscribers by the end of the year, I always watch the videos to the end. I'm sure most people don't have a shocked reaction to a foreigner speaking their language, but I guess the few who do make good UA-cam content.
An American talking to Japanese and Chinese people in Japanese and Chinese in Korea, using neither Korean nor English, . This is something I've never seen in all my 30 years of living in Korea
Anming, what I’m impressed with is your Social Skills…for me they are 10/10. People are drawn to your friendliness. That’s what I appreciate about your videos. I’ve been watching you since before the pandemic and I’m so happy that you decided to do this for awhile now. I feel like I’m traveling abroad with you. Thank you dear. 🙋🏻♀️❄️🎄⛄️

I’m still envious of your language skills. Of course I haven’t practised as much as you. I don’t know why people think there should be so much surprise that you speak the languages there. When foreigners come here, we aren’t surprised when they speak our language!
I have bought the physical disks of Conventional Japanese by pimsleur (I prefer disks) 😅 I have always wanted to learn Japanese and I think I watched a video of yours a year and a half ago? I was really inspired and impressed with you. Keep doing what you love and to everyone who is offering unsolicited advice I hope that it doesn't pressure you too much. I like your content and the patreon sounds great because you have learnt all these languages yourself with trial error. Maybe when I am a bit more further I'll join. Take care and all the best for 2024!🎉
A small observation I saw around the 3 minute mark when talking to the camera at night after leaving the small convenient store, I saw a guy in the background kind of following. Not saying there was ill intent but just something I noticed. He kept staring, crossed the street but continued following then came back to the same side of the street. 😮
Hi. Your videos are getting easier to consume (better edits). I can't really relate to your language journey but you're entertaining 👍 I'm in NZ trying to learn the native language here (Maori) ❤. If I've learnt anything so far it's that English is a messy language and I feel for anyone trying to learn it.
I think Xiaoma often receives surprised reactions, and this has become a defining characteristic of the 'white-person-speaks-an-Asian-language' genre on UA-cam. However, his setting in New York is somewhat unique. There's a substantial number of Chinese speakers there, allowing some to get by without ever learning English. Yet, they're in a foreign country, surrounded by people who don't speak their language, which must be quite isolating. When they see a white person, they might automatically assume there will be a communication barrier. I had a similar experience when I spoke Thai with a Thai person in Europe, who had limited English proficiency. However, I never received the same reaction when speaking Thai in Thailand.
I don't know why I love how you setup your next video in the video, it makes it so real and engaging. Also props to letting us know that most videos never makes the cut.
As always your videos are all worth watching right to the very end. Do people react when you speak their language, yes some do. If there is surprise it's because they clocked you as an obvious foreigner, and don't expect you to be able to communicate in their language. The more competent you are, and the more natural and expansive your vocabulary is the more likely someone is to be impressed. Life is mostly transactional in any language, and people just want to do their job. If they speak your language, they'll do it to facilitate the transaction. If you can speak their language it is easier when they understand exactly what you want. Learning a language is more than gathering a large number of words and their meanings. You must be able be able put the words into meaningful sentences and comprehend what is being said back to you. That means interactions must occur in the target language until it begins to become more natural in execution. I'm in the I've got a base knowledge of Japanese, now I've got put that knowledge to use with people who live in that language. Will I, and do I make mistakes, yes I do. Do I get lost in conversations when people use words and terms that I'm not familiar with. Yes all the time. Trial and error are a natural part of the process. Do I want to be perfect in my target language, Yes. Am I embarrassed when I get misunderstood or can't understand what I'm being told, sure. However, that also happens occasionally in my native language, and you just work through the issue and forget it. Where Anming 7 stands out is that she can mix and match multiple languages in the flow of a conservation naturally. She makes it look effortless, but she doesn't hide the fact that it took many hours of work and effort to achieve the ability to interact in non native languages to her. That's why her content is superior and her videos make my day better. She models what I hope to be able to do one day, and tells me what I have to do to make that happen. Subscribe and the support this channel and creator if you can. You won't regret it, I consider it an essential part of my language learning journey. The plus is not only is her content inspirational, and educational, it's also highly entertaining as well. She and her content are the complete package.
Thanks for remind8mg ever to subscribe Jim. I’m going back and catching all of your comments. Now that you’re a member the UA-cam system highlights them for me.
I appreciate your honesty on the selection for interesting reactions and that most folks just go on about their day and aren't shocked. It's refreshing when someone is up front about their approach to making videos!
Yes I agree, you can't learn on you own! I tried to learn Thai (my Mothers native language) on my own it didn't work. I was lost so I got a online teacher! I've been learning for the last 5 years, I can read and write in Thai. I wish my Mom could see me now, she would be so happy with me now!
It was so funny to me how some people in Korea reacted to the smallest bit of language exchange in korean hehe they absolutely love when you take the effort to learn their culture and language.
Upper-ish intermediate Korean speaker here. I think the more important takeaway from videos like this is that speaking the language allows you ACTUALLY communicate with more people, more meaningfully and deeply. Theres some conversations, relationships and even friendships that would have never happened in my life had I not been able to speak Korean. While the shock value is always entertaining, the real value does come from being able to make connections with people that you otherwise could never have. PS. The true TRUE mark of a good speaker is when you dont get complimented at all and they just start talking with you naturally. So Anming, 90% of your conversations being boring means that youre doing a fantastic job lol.
i think in korea (at least in seoul) theres an increase in tourism and language students not to mention kpop and kdrama popularity, so its no longer surprising. i only get complimented in smaller cities or outside of korea. and mostly from shopkeeps i said thank you to, not the people i have full concersations with lol i think its lost its shock value for koreans inside of korea at least. you always hear that koreans will praise the crap out of you for saying hello. and its not what i experienced. and when people hear of this theyre like "well your korean must suck" and it makes me feel bad😅 so thats what i like about her transparency. shes in korea but most of the reactions she showed arent from the koreans and as i said, theyre shop keepers. they praise me on language apps for texting well, but in real life i just get praised for saying thanks (RARELY) but not for having full on convos. but as she said in another video, its not surprising to speak a language in the country. but thanks to these videos and language apps i guess people expect lots and lots of praise but its not necessarily the case in real life. so you shouldnt feel bad when you arent praised in real life. not like we compliment the english speakers we come across all the time unless we KNOW theyre studying and trying to get better
my takeaway from that long comment is not to let people make you feel bad for not being complimented cause having the interaction and being able to communicate is more valuable than the compliment and its not as common as were led to believe online. as you said^^ 그리고 한국어 공부 파이팅~
I saw one of your videos a while ago, but this is the one where I was compelled to subscribe. Someone mentioned below, those compliments are genuine, and you should be gratified. 4 times harder and longer to learn than Spanish, you said it yourself.
They are all surprised when hearing you speaking in their respective language. Korean, Japanese and Mandarin. And even though it is hard to communicate in Korean, the locals are nice too. Oh my god! I wish I could meet you in Hong Kong next week.
Anming unlocked a new perk of learning a foreign language, FREE FOOD! That's very kind of them to do that for you. Hospitality at it's finest. I really appreciate you showing what a normal interaction looks like as well. I found out recently at my local coffee shop that a barista who works there was from Japan when we were on the topic of Christmas, so I spoke using the little Japanese phrases I knew and she didn't react at all either. She just tried to teach me a word or two more in Japanese. I probably was awkward and didn't pronounce things right but you've got to have courage because everyone has to start somewhere 😅💜
I've been wanting to make a goal of learning all of my ancestors languages, I am French, Irish, and Scottish on my mom's side, Japanese, and Six Nations Mohawk on my dad's. Plus I would also like to learn Spanish, and have accents like British, and Australian. Thank you for your videos!❤️
When nobody compliments you on your language it means that you have reached native speaker level and people do not go around congratulating native speakers, they just talk to you.
@@OrientalPearl true, as we English speakers do when we talk to people from other ethnicities we meet in our countries. We just talk to them, nothing special. I get more reaction from Cambodians who live in Australia when they hear me speaking Khmai with my Cambodian wife. Now that is weird they think. One Cambodian lady looked like she had seen a ghost, she stopped and just stared, motionless until we moved on. I don't do it to startle people, it's just easier sometimes to speak Khmai and I forget that it's seen as unimaginable.
\o/ I made it to the end! I'm special! I enjoy seeing the reactions, it's true, but it makes sense that those are the exception, rather than the rule. People being people and all. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. 😁👍🏻
The format needs revision. Introduce culture along with language. Recent videos have been a bit repetitive around shocking people by speaking their language. i.e. clicks for giggles type thing. I suggest a bit more educational content and a bit less infomercial. There have been some good videos, but just lately it has seemed a bit stale.
Always gotta support my girl from Detroit! i'm from Flint so it's always good to see a Michigander out exploring the world, and conquering it I must add! My friend Emily from HS moved to South Korea to teach english and I am so proud of her.

I’m not sure I’m smart enough to learn to speak as fluently as you. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Take care and stay safe. ❤❤
I watch these video's because i think it is enjoyable to see people from different cultures experience that it is possible to communicate 1 on 1 with a foreigner. And that on a basic level people are not very different at all and that the vast majority of people are friendly to foreigners. We sure can use more of that these days.
Fighting the UA-cam algorithm isn't any fun. So many of my favourite content creators are struggling with it. It's easy for me to say don't sweat on it but I'm not making a living from it. All I can say is that I enjoy all your content and I'm one of the "special" ones who watch to the end. I don't need the "shock" videos to get excited when I see a new video has dropped. My dream is to go to Japan and tour around with my daughter who speaks fluent Japanese and lived there. Just take our time and soak it all in. Thanks for everything you do!
My Grandfather on my Mom's side ran away from home somewhere in China as my Great Grandfather was a very mean and abusive man. He got his citizenship here in the U.S. and had a daughter, my Mom that knew a little Cantonese. Unfortunately she passed away and I only know a few words and phrases. I'm inspired! 😁
I recently started following your channel and it's already one of my favorites! I think you're absolutely fantastic! You and Tommy are super adorable together and I'm happy for you guys!
This reminds me of a time when I was a young man cleaning carpet for a living. One of my accounts was an apartment complex predominantly of Korean residents. Many of which could not speak English {or they wouldn't try in front of me}. Anyway, I finally asked the office staff , who were bilingual, "how do I tell your residents to turn on some fans when I'm done?" I gave it my best try the next time I cleaned an occupied carpet. Can't spell it but it sounded something like this, "some pun gee keo du se yo". The resident was eating a bowl of soup when I said that and just about chocked on it afterwards in shock.
I appreciate being called special and the unofficial ambassadorship you have taken on showing a good side to stories of Americans abroad. I imagine those that were shocked going home or up to some friends like, "You won't believe this lady that came through..." Safe travels.
I watched (& took note) of your original explanation video, and now, like then I appreciate your honesty. In fact, it's made watching you much more enjoyable.
I love this video. It's kinda 'behind the curtain'. It's a very real assessment of what's involved in making these videos. And it does nothing to detract from the rest of the content. It's all real, regardless of the (none)reactions etc. I'm really turned off by the frauds that live off 'augmented reality' so this is refreshing. Great channel, thank you!
I began my Japanese-learning journey a few months ago and have been working my way through the kanji. I'm 25 and it's never too late to learn. Your videos keep me motivated by demonstrating that all the time invested into the work of language-learning eventually pays off. Shine on you crazy pearl!
2 or 3 minutes average watch time only? Your content is always engaging even though I believe it's not the content you truly wanna make. Almost to 1M subs! Well deserved!
Since I was a little, I've always said if I could have one wish it'd be the ability to read, write, speak, and understand any language I come across when a specific word or phrase was expressed in some way to activate it. I'd be set for life as a translator for people, dead languages, meet and talk with all people and travel. Mental health issues from life stuff deteriorated my memory a bit over time so I can't hold onto stuff the day I used to. So I enjoy videos like this for now and hope it improves so it gets easier. Much love and hope you and your husband have a great holiday season.

@@OrientalPearl OH NONONO! 😭🙏 I've always been a sub maam, but having subbed to 200+ channels myself, I forget the channels that would really matter for my life! So I finally sorted my subcriptions recently! Happy to be back on what I believe should be my daily doses of inspiration. YATTAAAAAA!!! 🥳
Another banger here! I must say (from first hand experience) You are so friendly and approachable and the fact you can communicate in their native language makes it all the more special.. The free food tour looked good haha
Aww, thanks Nathan. You filmed some great b-roll for this video. It added a nice touch.
thanks .. its always great hanging out and making content together! @@OrientalPearl
Always watch to the end. I think it's disrespectful not to. Love your videos. They feel so much more real than others.
Thank you for watching all of my videos.
transparency and integrity
Same! I can't understand why people do that.
I just love your videos because you are such a genuinely nice and kind person. People react positively to you because they sense this. I am sure that you will get to one million subscribers in no time! Your content is always so interesting and professionally done.
Aww, thank you so much 😊
I got really turned off by some of these big "I speak so many languages look how shocked they are!" channels, because they clearly only know a few phrases, and it's obnoxious and disingenuous.
Like in the social experiment video you tell it like it is about the reactions, your honesty is refreshing. Thanks for posting!
So proud of myself as I could understand some Chinese! I love languages and when I surprise others some are shocked some are only relieved as they were struggling to explain themselves and I came to the rescue! I love your videos as they represent me very much!
That's great!. Keep up your hard work with Chinese.
I love this girl! I’ve been learning Chinese, and some Korean because of her encouragement!!!
That's because tangerines are a variation of "mandarin orange"
That’s amazing that you know English and German.
Very inspiring I’m trying to learn Spanish and it’s great to see you interact with people in conversational languages
I don’t need to conjugate verbs.
It will be a close call, but it's possible.
Your authenticity and pleasantly calm video editing style are why I love your videos!
So authentic, so honest, so refreshing. Always enjoy your videos. Thank you.
We watch for the super fun happy people. Thanks for sharing kindness with everyone.
It will be lovely to reach 1 million subs as a Christmas present. Definitely you deserve alot more millions subs for your work. Never stop doing this Anming. Its always a pleasure for us to watch those lil adventures.
I’m still envious of your language skills. Of course I haven’t practised as much as you. I don’t know why people think there should be so much surprise that you speak the languages there. When foreigners come here, we aren’t surprised when they speak our language!
It’s all about making sacrifices and putting in time. After that you can enjoy the benefits for many years to come.
Well done for being honest. We don't get much of that on the Tube today. Usually if it is the truth it is blocked. Thank you
I’m glad you appreciate this real talk about how the videos are made.
Hi. Your videos are getting easier to consume (better edits). I can't really relate to your language journey but you're entertaining 👍
I'm in NZ trying to learn the native language here (Maori) ❤. If I've learnt anything so far it's that English is a messy language and I feel for anyone trying to learn it.
😂😂 You said "Engrish"...very authentic. Loved your videos. I am now a subscriber.
Thanks for being realistic and show us how things are in real life
This video about telling us that most people aren’t shocked when you talk a different language is why I subscribed and you are an awesome person! :)
Your videos are wonderful. YES I am subscribed and I always leave a thumbs up. Keep up the good work.
I hear you. You deserve the 1 million mark. And you learned a lot about people along the way. Most people never do.
I went to New York last year and didn’t get reactions at all. That’s what happens when you speak well and don’t try to elicit a reaction from people.
The way you meet people out and about is inspiring!
I appreciate that
Yes I agree, you can't learn on you own! I tried to learn Thai (my Mothers native language) on my own it didn't work. I was lost so I got a online teacher! I've been learning for the last 5 years, I can read and write in Thai. I wish my Mom could see me now, she would be so happy with me now!
It’s too much to take on for sure. Spanish takes 4 times less time to learn than and Asian language.
Your transparency is refreshing! ♥️
It was so funny to me how some people in Korea reacted to the smallest bit of language exchange in korean
hehe they absolutely love when you take the effort to learn their culture and language.
Thank you for subscribing!
They are all surprised when hearing you speaking in their respective language.
Korean, Japanese and Mandarin. And even though it is hard to communicate in Korean, the locals are nice too.
Oh my god! I wish I could meet you in Hong Kong next week.
Are you living in Hong Kong?
@@OrientalPearl Yes, I am certainly live in Hong Kong, Miss Alyssa. A local but first language is English.
@@jerometsowinghuen That’s great. I’ll be there in December 1st.
@@OrientalPearl Fantastic!
I love your authenticity. Please keep producing your content. You rock! 🚀
Oddly, I've never seen any of your videos........so thankful that you posted this video. That is cool as hell.
When I was stationed in Korea they're so used to Americans that Americans speaking Korean is just *normal*
I wouldn’t go quite that far. Not counting Korean American, we’re talking like 1 in 500 maybe that knows more than “bulgoggi chuseyo.”
Sometimes. But if they see that you’re visibly foreign they just assume you live in their country as a foreign resident.
Don’t fix what isn’t broken
But do fix what is broken.
If closing in on a million is broken, I’ll stay broke.
Pearl is Dr. Dolittle and Asia is one big safari tour.
She wants to reach 1 million subscribers. The videos seem a little different because of that
I'm studying Thai now with pimsleur so I'm excited to see that it worked for you. Great Videos!
your sense of humour bursts out,its infectious. its 3a.m and i should be sleeping(not smiling and laughing). love you nice person!
Thanks for staying up to watch my newest video.
Always gotta support my girl from Detroit! i'm from Flint so it's always good to see a Michigander out exploring the world, and conquering it I must add! My friend Emily from HS moved to South Korea to teach english and I am so proud of her.
I love your videos and I love listening to you speak the different languages. I’m American and only speak English but, I would love to learn the Chinese language. You are absolutely amazing.
The pond with the fish looked like a beautiful spot 🐠 And i love the food hall footage of helping people with another language 🤗
I take it back. This is the best video that you have put out. Because it shows that not everyone is totally surprised that you speak their language.
This reminds me of a time when I was a young man cleaning carpet for a living. One of my accounts was an apartment complex predominantly of Korean residents. Many of which could not speak English {or they wouldn't try in front of me}. Anyway, I finally asked the office staff , who were bilingual, "how do I tell your residents to turn on some fans when I'm done?"
I gave it my best try the next time I cleaned an occupied carpet.
I imagine those that were shocked going home or up to some friends like, "You won't believe this lady that came through..."
Safe travels.
I’m new to your channel but am very impressed by your ease of meeting people plus language skills.
I watched (& took note) of your original explanation video, and now, like then I appreciate your honesty. In fact, it's made watching you much more enjoyable.
Thank you Julia!

Thank you so much for the clarification in this video. I have always wondered why everyone is so shocked at your language skills. Now I understand!!!!
Love this! Everytime I watch your videos you always inspire me to learn more languages
I love your honesty and as you say learning these languages means studying very hard. You are doing so well !
I began my Japanese-learning journey a few months ago and have been working my way through the kanji. I'm 25 and it's never too late to learn. Your videos keep me motivated by demonstrating that all the time invested into the work of language-learning eventually pays off. Shine on you crazy pearl!
I started learning Japanese at 25 too!
2 or 3 minutes average watch time only? Your content is always engaging even though I believe it's not the content you truly wanna make. Almost to 1M subs! Well deserved!
6:00, that man was very kind and loved you. I only speak English and struggle to learn language so very impressed by your skills
You can learn too. Everyone struggles to learn.
Love the fact she gave you some mandarins for speaking Mandarin! Lovely
"For free even vinegar taste sweet" ! This saying we have in my village ... 😄
You are still amazing to me. Your honesty is gold. Nice to know the real things too.
I love how real you are and how your videos are both informative and fun, thank you! It's so odd to me that people don't watch until the end, I can't put my phone down once I start watching 🤣
It is very cool when no shock leads to your sharing people like Lisa 13 with us. Polite appreciation was more common for me with my tourist/military level German way back in 1978-80
Wow your so fluent. It gives me motivation to learn a language right now I’m learning Japanese here in the US in my school
I watch to the end and really enjoy the real honest reactions. It's very refreshing.
That makes me so happy. Thank you!
Yay, you said I was special 😊love watching your adventures including the vlogs that don’t show people in shock of your language skills. Hope you reach that mil before 2024.❤
You are special and you’re part of a very small group of kind people that I really appreciate.
I remember first coming across your channel just before the pandemic, I believe, and your subscriber count was gradual and now you're hitting a million in such a short time!! You really have very informative and positive content and make it so fun to watch at the same time (I know it's a lot of work too). I especially like your smooth speaking voice. You say it as it is without being too cliche. What an amazing accomplishment Anming!!
Thank you so much for watching for so long. I hope you’ve gotten to see and enjoy all of my videos since then.
I started watching your videos because I wanted to learn chinese. But still I cannot find the time to study it every day because of the life I have. So I am very happy to have at least some time to watch yours. Thank you. Also for the it is to watch them. Domo arigato gosaimasu.
I like your videos for what they are. Fun, adventurous, and reality. Thank you for all of your hard work.
Thanks for watching!
Some people don't watch the videos until the end? I watched till the end as always, very interesting to see all the re-actions and different places you visit, cannot miss one video. Thanks for what you do.
