HAIM is a live band, if you go to a show of theirs, you would see. They play loud, raw, and play instruments. The studio does them no justice but still, they have to promote the music like everyone else. Go see them live, you won't be sorry.
Yeah I have to agree with Johnny. People are so pretentious, pretending that live is the only way to go. HAIM is unabashedly hip/hipster. They are equal parts Beyonce as they are Vampire Weekend as they are Stevie Nicks. And they probably shop at Urban Outfitters. That's what makes them awesome. That they're modern but still have that old style without forcing it. They're just *cool*. Plain and simple.
This is the third video I have seen of this group in the last 10 minutes since snl. I find myself tapping my foot to all their music. Nice catchy tunes. Reminds me of fiest ,(1,2,3,4).
This was the song of the summer for me in 2015 when I saw Paper Towns. It’s a very personal song to me. I didn’t even remember the name of the band and then I saw Licorice Pizza and rediscovered their music!

Strangest thing. My siberian husky (who NEVER howls) ONLY howls when I play this song!!! The first time it happened was months ago as I was dancing around to it. Thought maybe he liked my dancing. Then this morning he was doing it again! After work I decided to test it out and sure enough.... he did the longest howl. Insane! Don't know what it is about the song, but i Iove it cause I never hear his voice! :)

There is something so deeply spiritual about this song and video. Incredible. People used to look at me strange when Days Are Gone album came out. Was playing that shhh to death.
If Haim would of came out in the 80s they would be huge. But now we live in a era where girls bands with musical talent don't get alot of recognition. Haim is definitely a group that people really need to take notice of because they are the real deal when it comes to blending unique sounds into their music.
To be fair though, most of their music is ripped off from the eighties. Definitely nothing new and the music industry is also about making money so producers go with what sells(at the moment reworked house sort of stuff). I don't think they're particularly talented or controversial and even the processed album doesn't sound too perfected but I like them and it doesn't make their music any less enjoyable to listen too!

I think Haim should get way more recognition than they do at the moment though

Personally I think Haim are too, but they're in a natural average way rather than how most female artists look in the charts. Love this band. They are awesome and its nice to see a class act in performers such as these Ladies. And the fact they write and arrange their music is what I love. Este Haim is fun to watch live and can out play majority of the bassist's out there.

I can hear a lot of influences in Haim... Annie Lennox... Michael Jackson... Fleetwood Mac... Savage Garden... 90s Indie ...The Wailin' Jennys folk trio... all updated and given that sunny, clean, open and expansive Californian sound. Makes for compelling listening.

Ava J. - I'm a guy and find Danielle of Haim extremely more attractive then Taylor Swift. Swift is far from perfect looking to me.
