I cannot believe this song is ten years old. I refuse. It still feels so new to me, and yet, I'm not 23 anymore. A decade has passed on by. How cruel time can be. Those days are forever gone now.

rarely i've heard songs from a relative young band whos sound are overwhelmingly reintroducing the 80's and 90's into what we today call music.

    I give a little
Into the moment like I'm standing at the edge (I know)
That no one's gonna turn me 'round
Just one more step, I could let go
    Oh and in the middle,
I hear the voices and they're calling for me now (I know)
And nothing's gonna wake me now
'Cause I'm a slave to the sound
    And they're calling,
Don't stop, no, I'll never give up
And I'll never look back, just hold your head up
And if it gets rough, it's time to get rough
    They keep saying
Don't stop, no it's never enough
I'll never look back, never give up
And if it gets rough, it's time to get rough
But now I'm falling, falling, falling
    Falling, falling, falling,
    Falling, falling, falling, falling, oh
    Now we're going down,
And I can feel the eyes are watching us so closely oh
I'm trying not to make a sound
'Cause I'll be found out somehow
    So keep calling,
Don't stop, no, I'll never give up
And I'll never look back, just hold your head up
And if it gets rough, it's time to get rough
    They keep saying
Don't stop, no it's never enough
I'll never look back, never give up
And if it gets rough, it's time to get rough
    But now I'm falling
Into the fire feeling higher than the truth
    (I'm falling)
I can feel the heat but I'm not burning
    (But now I'm falling)
Feeling desire, feeling tired, hungry too
    (I'm falling)
    Feels like I'm falling, yeah
    I can hear them calling
    (I'm falling)
Into the fire feeling higher than the truth
    (I'm falling)
I can feel the heat but I'm not burning
    (But now I'm falling)
Feeling desire, feeling tired, hungry too
    (I'm falling)
    Feels like I'm falling, yeah
    I can hear them calling
    (Now I'm falling)
    Falling, falling, falling
    Falling, falling, falling,
    Falling, Falling, falling, oh
    Oh and now I'm falling
    Falling, falling, falling
    Falling, falling, falling,
    Falling, falling, falling, oh
    Falling, falling, falling, falling
    Fall yeah
    And now I'm falling
    Falling, falling, falling, falling
    Fall yeah
    And now I'm falling
Into the fire feeling higher than the truth
    (But now I'm falling)
I can feel the heat but I'm not burning
    (I'm falling)
Feeling desire, feeling tired, hungry too
    (But now I'm falling)
    Feels like I'm falling, yeah
I can hear them calling for me
    (I'm falling)
Into the fire feeling higher than the truth
    (Now I'm falling)
I can feel the heat but I'm not burning
    (I'm falling)
Feeling desire, feeling tired, hungry too
    (Now I'm falling)
It feels like I'm falling, yeah
I can hear them calling for me
Never look back, never give up
Never look back, never give up
Never look back, never give up
    I'll never give up
    I'll never give up

A lot of the music I've come across from the years 2012 to 2014 all seem to have this old school 1980s 1990s sound. I love it so much. 2012-2014 were the best years for music in my opinion. I'm obsessed with this song 😄😄😄

Not many guys (males) are going to listen to this band. It's too bad because their bass player is one of the best in music today. Bassline in this song is RIDICULOUSly good. Sounds like a black guy from Motown wrote this bassline. Listen for the bass. It's amazing.

Normally I go for Rap and R&B. But this group is PHENOMENAL! Its so 80's & 90's, even though I was born in the 90's I miss this type of music from both time periods. Back then it didn't mattered what played on the radio or what genre it was, ALL the songs caught the EAR of EVERY person; African, Caucasian, Indian, etc. I respect HAIM for bringing this type of FEEL back to our SOULS!

Don’t stop, no, I’ll never give up
And I’ll never look back, just hold your head up
And if it gets rough, it’s time to get rough
    They keep saying:
Don’t stop, no one’s ever enough
I’ll never look back, never give up
And if it gets rough, it’s time to get rough
    But now falling, falling, falling
    Falling, falling, falling, falling
    Falling, falling, falling, falling

The outrageously catchy synth bit references Jermaine Stewart's "We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off". This is a good thing.
