First impressions of the Bird from Weber workshops

My first impressions of the Bird brewer from Weber workshops. Apparently bird stands for brewing in reverse. I’ll be reviewing it in a few weeks and let me know if you have any questions or if you have a bird and how it has been to use. Just received mine a few days ago, if you haven’t seen it, there’s a manual on their website where they suggest a steep time of 5 minutes. However i found the flavor to be to harsh when steeping for that long so currently I’m steeping for 3 minutes and I might even try dropping to 2.

5min is a bit long. I took it down 4min and the astringency wasn’t as present. I’m experimenting now with brew times around 2:30 to 3min mark and they’ve been better but can be a bit thin and not as round. What grind size are you using? Mine has been around moka pot sorta medium fine
