Just some clarification: Brazil had more mobile phone lines than people for a while because it was cheaper to have multiple lines from different carriers to call people than to have one line to call everybody else. It changed after recession (around 2015) and so phone lines were cancelled. Beautifully, the carriers didn't want to lose money so they offered plans that were way better in which people could call everybody country-wise for free by using the subscription system. By losing people, they offered better plans to not be the one losing a client! "Thank you" recession! :P

Just some clarification: Brazil had more mobile phone lines than people for a while because it was cheaper to have multiple lines from different carriers to call people than to have one line to call everybody else. It changed after recession (around 2015) and so phone lines were cancelled. Beautifully, the carriers didn't want to lose money so they offered plans that were way better in which people could call everybody country-wise for free by using the subscription system.
By losing people, they offered better plans to not be the one losing a client! "Thank you" recession! :P
