All the negative comments can’t take away from the fact this car is an automotive milestone. EVs; love or loathe them are going to be part of the future of driving so when one comes along and remembers that people need the fun back in the car experience, it is a good sign. Thank you Hyundai for leading the way.

This is the only electric car I'd even consider.

This is the first electric car I've actually desired. All others, including things like a Taycan, were "it would be nice to have"

Did you test the thermal capacity at all? how many hard laps could you do before it starts to pull power?

As far as I'm aware this car does seem to be well balanced for track too.

111k still not much faster than a trophy r or CTR

0-100 or 1/4 mile, 5N kills the CTR. Around Nurburgring, stock 5N is 3 sec faster against a non-stock CTR that was modified specifically for the Nurburgring. And you can’t drift in a CTR.

@JohnLee-db9zt respectfully, no one cares about 0 100 or 1/4 get pretty old pretty quick. Btw 5n seems to have done 7:45 with the trophy r at 7:40 and ctr albeit slightly cheating less than that. more than 30k more and not even talking about massive depreciation along the way and not to mention way less fun. EVs are a fad, I know which car will age better in 10 years time. Having said that to each his own : ).

The fake engine noise is surely a joke right? Sounds horrific. And dear god why? The fake gears as well? What the? And what about the 2.2T weight? You didnt talk about the dynamics in the corners at all, is Hyundai barring you from doing so? How many laps can you do before having to charge? Surely not heaps so this is a no-go for track days.
This is a hard pass for me.

yea its no better than the current model Y performance, probably comes in close to 4600 lbs with those wheels and the other bits vs the standard car. This isn't a track review, this is just screwing around, i'd like to know how many laps it can do before it starts to cut power.

어차피 안 믿겠지만 리뷰어들 중 페이크노이즈를 싫어하는 사람은 하나도 없었고 2.2T의 무게가 거의 안느껴진다는게 대부분의 후기입니다.

I mean a lot of car enthusiasts like myself would actually like this because it's another way to be engaged and in a world where we keep getting quiet having something like this especially if it can be on the outside as well would be cool plus it's something that can be fun. Especially with the fake gearing as well it's something different that no other manufacturer would be doing

The engine noise allows the best of both worlds. Sound when you want it, and quiet when you don’t. I have no problem with Hyundai adding engagement for the driver. And everything this car does seems to be for the benefit of having fun. I’m all for that!
