    When you realise the hunter-seeker burrowed through exactly where Paul's head was resting ..until he got up to see Muad'Dib.
    Muad'Dib saved his life.

      Everything is conveyed better in books, so maybe it's best not to compare different media at all.

      I like the version in the Dune Mini-Series from 2000 a little better than this one. In that one Paul has to pound the Hunter unit against the stone wall a couple of times, then drop it into a glass of water nearby. Basically break it's outer shell and short it out. Instead of him just grabbing it and it shattered.

    Dune 1965 by Frank Herbert = a book
    There are 6 Frank Herbert's books about Dune and then his son Brian Herbert's books about Dune and then Star wars 1977 movie and Dune 1984 movie

    Anyone thinks Part 1 was better than Part 2, in terms of suspense, novelty, and thrills? Everything was so mind-blowing and got it 6 Oscars. Part 2 is great, just a bit shallow compared to Part 1.

      I'm not sure. The second movie definitely focuses more on the epic and has a much faster pace. That probably takes something away from it, but I wouldn't call it hollow.

      @@Subird in essence, 1 and 2 are 2 different genres. And if they are one movie (which they are, just part 1 and 2) the first are built-up for the 2nd
