I didn't realize until yesterday that he gets up to see a holographic version of his namesake, the Muad'dib
I saw it the very first time I watched the movie.
And you know what he did next? Hid in the bushes similar to Muad'dib
Man if I lived in this universe my personal shield would never be just chilling on the bedstand. I'd have three and one would always be in the charging cradle.
this generation and their shields... smh
To be fair, bro was chilling in his bed
I don't think you can keep a shield on in shower or toilet.
You don't need to charge them, Holtzman effect = basically unlimited energy
Shields hoho, silly toys, give me beskar or ceramite any day.
When you realise the hunter-seeker burrowed through exactly where Paul's head was resting ..until he got up to see Muad'Dib.
Muad'Dib saved his life.
Muad'Dib is The One Who Points the Way after all. That's such an amazing detail.
Are you sure it was the same spot? It looks like a couple feet away.
@@GimmieUtoob Yeah, I thought it was a great catch, but Paul was sitting to the left of the point where hunter-seeker went through
Lisan al gaib!
As written.
CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE AN AUDIO BOOK OF THE GUY WHO SPEAKS IN THE HISTORY RECORDINGS? im sure all of us Dune fans are in dying need of it
He’s actually one of the editors, he did a mock take to test the script and the director loved his voice so he became the guy for it🎉
Yes, he did an amazing job on all the film books. Would love to hear more by him.
the warner bros channel has a filmbook video series on youtube, you guys shouls look it up
Get recording of his voice, then use AI Video makers to use his voice to make an audio book of your choice
@@poovainemoodley6726use a thinking machine!?
Everyone knows that you should remain perfectly still in the presence of those things.
All of our butts were clenched tight in this scene.
He is the main character he got that plot armor
I was searching for this original print shot since 2 years and finally I got it
Could you start releasing deleted scenes too now? I won’t tell Villeneuve
We all would have flinched at that moment.
This scene is sooooo awesome❤️🔥
#releasethethufircut
Desperately need this to happen
Time to have Kyle McLachlan’s ASMR overlaid on this clip now😂😂
I miss the internal monologue in scenes like this from the first movie
why? everything important is said.
Anyone else noticed how the Hunter Seeker looks like a mosquito?
Even in the future mosquitoes are really a pest.
WHY CAN'T WE HAVE THIS TECH!?
I mean, we have those FPV drones, they’re pretty close
Because this is 20,000 years in the future...
They probably do...or will soon ;-)
You mean the holographic filmbook or you wanna assassinate somebody?😂
I don't mean to be a downer, but this is one scene I felt was conveyed better in the book.
Everything is conveyed better in books, so maybe it's best not to compare different media at all.
I like the version in the Dune Mini-Series from 2000 a little better than this one. In that one Paul has to pound the Hunter unit against the stone wall a couple of times, then drop it into a glass of water nearby. Basically break it's outer shell and short it out. Instead of him just grabbing it and it shattered.
Present 32 Minutes
Does no one else hear the ringing?
Yeah the audio makes me hate watching this scene
Dune 1965 by Frank Herbert = a book
There are 6 Frank Herbert's books about Dune and then his son Brian Herbert's books about Dune and then Star wars 1977 movie and Dune 1984 movie
Anyone thinks Part 1 was better than Part 2, in terms of suspense, novelty, and thrills? Everything was so mind-blowing and got it 6 Oscars. Part 2 is great, just a bit shallow compared to Part 1.
I'm not sure. The second movie definitely focuses more on the epic and has a much faster pace. That probably takes something away from it, but I wouldn't call it hollow.
@@Subird in essence, 1 and 2 are 2 different genres. And if they are one movie (which they are, just part 1 and 2) the first are built-up for the 2nd
@@iepvienredstoneHuy007 Like Titanic! Its a romance all the way until its a disaster movie!
