The good thing about this review is that you can't go wrong with either one. Although, I have the Stihl BG 56 C, both are great machines. It's just a matter of personal preference. Great video! 👍
il've had a bg55 still for many YEARS (20+) minimal maintenance runs like crazy this year changed the spark plug and fuel filter/ air filter--minimal upkeep hope i have for many years stihl for life
After 3 125B blowers I just bought a new BG50. It's lighter by 1.5 lbs, more powerful, and cheaper! Starts easy too! The 125B blowers run decent but only for 1 to 2 years then loose compression. The ring sticks to the piston. Haven't figured out why. Did re-ring and piston in one and ran again but same thing happened. I have 1 left that still runs, switched to Echo Red Armor oil, maybe that will work. So Husky in one hand and Stihl in other for heavy leaf cleanup in fall.
The husky 125B. It's no good. They last about 2 years With minimum use. and they lose compression How do I know about this one? Well at first mine lost compression, I contacted the manufacturer because it had a 3 year warranty. They tried to tell me.I mixed my gas and oil Wrong But every time I used my Leaf blower I use my weed eater. It is a stihl I've had my weed eater for going on 12 years And it still works Keep in mind I put the same gas in both of them at the same time. But the husky they refused to warranty it even though it was still under warranty. My friend bought the same one and had the same Problem But he got the extended warranty through another company. They replaced his money and said they have replaced thousands of these huskies since they came out. There is something wrong with the engine design and they should be recalled. Now I own the stihl
I contacted a reputable dealer for them. And they would not repair it under the warranty either. This is sad the company used to be a good company. But now I'm a stihl man.
Stihl BG56 all day had a few of em really good units. Although if it was the BG86 vs The Husky 525BX, the husky would take it hands down way more Grunt 👍
That happens once in a while That even happens to non-easy start units but it definitely can happen to the easy start units if you pull it like you’re used to pulling a normal rope
I’ve had the Husqvarna for years and the engine just seized. I’m not upset, I had it a long time and used it a lot. Im debating going with the Stihl just to mix it up. I like the “cruise control” feature of the Husqvarna but I’m torn. I don’t see a clear winner here unfortunately.
I own them both and the Husqvarna definitely makes more power and performs a tad better. I love the starting and auto choke on the Stihl tho. I also own the older Stihl BG50 and it performs better than both of these. Not sure why Stihl discontinued it.
Husky is crap, had a part on the engine fail and it cost almost as much as a new blower. Real rip off. Now the engine has lost compress and I'm told then engine is worn out and done, it's 10years old and has had little use. Definitely going to avoid buying another, should have bought a stihl but I will now and I bet I'll have it for life, they make quality stuff
I owned the Husqvarna and it’s a plastic piece of junk. The carb screws stripped right thru the plastic bases from nothing more than weekly use. Go echo or stihl
I just pick up the stihl bg56 and I love it I especially love the handle at the bottom makes it easy to blow under my trailer
Glad to hear.

Thanks for the feedback. How long have you had the 56?
@@carlsmowerandsaw Just bought it about a month ago. Works like a champ!

Bg56
What makes you say? What makes you say to go with the? What makes you say to go with the BG 56?
They are so good
are the filters washable??
Yes you can wash both. They will need to dry overnight before going back to work

Interesting input from the warranty supplier. I wonder if that’s the findings from servicing dealers too?

Thank you for your input and information. Always appreciate the comments.
Stihl bg 56c 100%
What do you like the most about it
Is it just me or did it seem like the Stihl did a better job at clearing the leaves then the Husqvarna did? Just seemed more powerful.
I don’t think it was just you
I have the stihl. Dang easy start broke.

If you were happy with your Husqvarna it is hard to justify changing brands.
Stihl Hands down is better blower
What model blower do you have?
I have a BR800c
And that will be both of these handheld blowers combined

We are still selling the BG 50

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. So what Stihl are you going to get?
I owned the Husqvarna and it’s a plastic piece of junk. The carb screws stripped right thru the plastic bases from nothing more than weekly use. Go echo or stihl
The Stihl is put together well.
