Husky wins ! Ive used both and picked the husky because its more powerful for less the price of the Stihl.and i dont want to have to worry about valve adjustments every few months and having to bring it back to the stihl shop and pay there ridiculous rates. And the sound of the 4 mix engine would drive me mad😂.
The Husqvarna is a great running machine.
I think I'm switching to husqvarna
@@kennethrobinson1672 right choice 👍💪
I have the new 251r and it's a beast never ran a husky that felt like this trimmer 2.7 hp.
@@jeremykirk1334 the FS 251 is 2hp
Great video! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the 240 vs the 251
Coming soon! In my initial tests the 251 wins. Hoping to get it out in heavier brush soon.
I’ve had both the Stihl and the Husqvarna weed trimmers. I currently have the 525 and the 535. All of them are really good however the Husqvarna edges out because of the incredible torque making it so that it does not get hung up and difficult. Targets. It also does better in gas
Great feedback. Glad you enjoy your trimmers
@@carlsmowerandsawthank you
These are both such good trimmers it really is a tough pick. I love husqvarna. Im a husqvarna guy for my business. I want both stihl and husqvarna trimmers though. I love the sound and throttle control of a stihl trimmer for daily use and they have tons of power. But husqvarna makes really nice trimmers as well. I just bought a Husqvarna 525 LST today and plan to buy the 535 LST as well and a 525 edger. Then once I have those three ill upgrade to a 4 banger trailer rack and get a husqvarna to have a permanent brush blade on. It will be a perfect setup.
I used my 525lst today and overall liked it. Its a tad short im taller and it burns my arm by the exhaust and its hard to slow trim where it rocky. It likes to go wide open! But its great and looks amazing too!
Sounds like you will have a great set up.
I'm running a 525l doing my properties. For me at least id rather have a little less power and carry around a featherweight all day. I'm planning on getting a more powerful unit though just to use on real over grown jobs but not for constant daily use.
The 525l is light and smooth. Great if you are doing weekly trims.
@@carlsmowerandsaw yup i love how light it is. i specifically bought it because its one of the lightest 25cc commercial trimmers you can get. I got arthritis in my hands so i struggle with anything over 12 pounds.
I enjoy all your videos on the brush cutters vary informative I'm leaning towards the 131
Good choice! Bang for buck it rocks
Happy New Year to you and your family 😊
Happy new year to you too Harry
Hey Josh , I’m wanting to buy one of these .. husqvarna 525lst or Stihl FS 91 R . I only have 5 properties to do . I want it to last a long time . I’ve never owned a Husky . Which is Better ??
Most commercial guys would recommend the Stihl. And I would agree with them.
@@carlsmowerandsaw I got the 91R , thanks for your advice!
@@bobclapper2672 enjoy
535 is a beast!
Vroom vroom
i have an original 535LS that had the T45 head on it i bought back in 2020 before the redesign weighs 13 pounds they should've made it like the redesign instead of how they originally did to begin with it's an ok machine though i dont know how much different or better the redesign would run compared to the original
The T45 is a great head
@@carlsmowerandsaw it's ok but it adds too much weight
@@knightimusprime25 true. Slows down the acceleration
You like the LS rather than the LST ? Husqvarna wins in vibration hands down take care my friend 👍
Yes the Husqvarna is smooth.
I like husky better it won’t get hung up like a sthil would in thick tall weeds. The husky is more comfortable does the work unlike the sthil. Try them both and time yourself. 💯HUSQVARNA WINS ALL DAY
Thanks for your input and providing some feedback. The trim deflector that’s getting hung up?
I use the 535LK comi and find it an excellent machine!
It is powerful and smooth
I know you guys sell both brands, but does one brand seem to stay away from the shop more often than normal? I’m thinking about purchasing Stihl equipment soon. 😂
Very similar on rate of repair. I would say Stihl is easier to work on and has a better parts support system in place
I've tried a Husky 4 years ago and almost dislocated my arm trying in vain to start it. Disgusted, I ended up returning the husky to the store, got a refund and bought a Stihl and been running with Stihl ever since 😊. I won't buy another husky ever again in life.
Has your shoulder healed
@@carlsmowerandsaw yes it has healed. Thank you for asking. By the way, I do enjoy your videos.
Every Stihl weed eater I’ve bought lasts two seasons tops. I’ll never buy another.
What’s going on with that?
@@carlsmowerandsaw They are BMW’s of lawn equipment. Smash and throw away.
I’m in Queensland Australia, I’ve seen old Husqvarna’s sheerly out play new and older Stihl’s. The Stihl’s really hate heat. Husqvarnas handle heat and mistreatment very well. In my opinion!
