9:00 - the reason Fuches is incessantly questioning about the way Jim Moss was able to "get into his torturer's head" is actually pretty great as a tear down of Fuches himself. he's been coasting off a LIE of having convinced his would-be executioner (the old Chechen fellas) to shoot himself cuz it was all circumstancal and just a sense of "wrong place, wrong time" for the old fella. So Fuches is INTIMIDATED by the fact that Moss is the REAL DEAL of mindhead games - hence his questioning "was your torturer depressed?", "did you get a sense of his home life?", trying to logic it was just "right guy, right time", etc. cuz he believes Moss would be just as "lucky" as him. But through Jim's monologue, we learn quick too: He IS the REAL DEAL.
15:31 this is who Sally has ALWAYS been. It’s just masked by the fact she was getting praised/success. She’s completely delusional about who she is & what she does.
Fun Fact: in the scene where Sally is having her mental breakdown in front of her agent, Sarah Goldberg had to deliver that hysterical monologue while walking backwards and hitting her mark in a dark room. And she did it all in *one take!* Sarah Goldberg is a fucking talent.
What Natalie did was this: take a bunch of ideas from Sally's show, and then tailor it with ALL THE ELEMENTS that the algorithm likes (someone eating dessert in the first shot/scene, Dev Patel is in her show etc). In the scene where Sally's show was cancelled, Natalie was dilligently taking notes in the background. She Frankenstein'd, what is sure to be, a vapid, soulless show, specifically tailored to succeed with the algorithm. Pretty scummy move, ngl. I fully get Sally's anger and frustration and a lot of what she said in that rant was valid. BUT!! She DEF shouldn't have GONE OFF on her Natalie like she did lol. It just isn't a good look AT ALL.
I don't think it was a scummy move. Sally's show had already been gutted. Can't be stolen. Mom & daughter show is a generic formula. Also Natalie didnt owe Sally anything. in my opinion Natalie did nothing wrong. She was taking notes the whole time.
Hot take that shouldn't be... getting yelled at isn't _supposed_ to be a good look. You're getting yelled at. The issue is more that Sally snapped and focused all her anger on one person. It was a slimy move, but Sally was also pretty entitled about using Natalie to her own ends, too. Whereas the one person arguably trying to actually be her friend, she pushes away because she doesn't want to hear it. It's not validation, so it's an attack.
When sally pinned that her ex assistant against the wall and started yelling. I had flashback instantly to barry yelling at her, trying to get a part for Gene.
5:47 that’s one of my favorite moments in the show. “YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE A DAUGHTER!” …neither do you… GERRRRRRR 😆 Sally projecting like a mf’er in that scene
The funniest thing about Fuches is that while he is absolutely disgusting, in this season all he has done is told people the truth about Barry. It works because he isn't lying anymore. He is telling people that Barry is a hitman and a serial killer. He is. The people that he has hurt are learning the truth. And then he in turn is making other people do these bad things. The show does a great job of making you think Fuches is the villain of the story, but in actuality it has been Barry all along.
@@marlonthemarvellous I watched a bit of the Wire years back (potentially when it was airing), but I really lost interest when the newspaper guys became part of the plot
I don’t think the “hard left” came out of nowhere, especially when it comes to the descent into darkness or the surreal elements as it has been building up to this stuff the entire show.
You both backed up Sallys aggressive breakdown and excused it, but were quick to do the opposite to Barry at the start of the season when he did the same thing to Sally, except nowhere near as bad.
Fuchs reminds me of Iago a bit. Sally's rage was justified because there's nothing worse than betrayal, but if she'd handled her rage appropriately, it would have been out of character. People can't be normal in a dark sitcom. That may be why Hank is so adorably funny.
I'm sorry why r u guys defending Sally here? TF? she acted exactly as toxic as barry when he shouted at her. When he did it, it was toxic and unacceptable(which truely was) but when Sally does it she has a right to do it? Nobody should talk to anyone like that.
Chad how about a fun reaction series where yall take some shots before the reaction and watch derry girls ? think they'd love it and its super chill and lighthearted and not heavy like some of the shows likw breaking bad, fullmetal
Hank letting himself get blowdarted because he doesn't want to be rude is the kind of nice guy I wanna be
No because I remember thinking "is that.....a blow dart" too. Lmao. Totally see it happening to some people

Sally should be mad at the system. Instead, she directed her anger at Natalie

The full circle moment that Barry was spared by the father of the one person he didn’t kill and he actually befriended

Sally’s actress acted her fucking ass off in that elevator god damn.

Sally: i don't wanna work with liars
Me: This is hollywood though
The irony being Sally is a huge liar
During the Albert Fuches interrogation, I forgot I was watching a reaction channel because that scene is so intense we were all quiet and focused. lol
Ryan’s dad is also Jesses dad in Breaking Bad. Don’t know the actors name but thought you would recognise him
I'm also surprised they didn't pick up on that but I think they had finished Barry before Jesse's dad started appearing more often
Oh dang! I've watched BB a few times but that never registered with me when watching Barry for the first time
@@Drforrester31 Have you seen the Wire? Cos the Jim Moss actor plays one of my fav characters on that show!
@@Quzga yea could be. And also they are both small roles

My great uncle drank antifreeze during covid after his wife died.. He survived but it was terrible..
Definitely not the way you wanna go out 😔
I'm sorry that happened. Wish you the best.

Sarah Goldberg’s performance was crazy in that scene 🎉
Such a great performance from Sally, damn that scream is crazy
Awesome reaction of my favorite episode of Barry!!!!!😊😊😊😊
I’ve always wondered if the afterlife is like that

So If Barry screamed it's violence and if its the Girl, then it's other's fault.

You guys should watch Search Party! It would fit your channel perfectly!
Or The Leftovers!

Derry girls is great but i think my editors would go broke editing it
Watch office space if you want to see the real fuches
