I just found your video and I love how you describe and want to save these vintage items. I was closely looking at the porcelain grape leaf lamp shade and I get a feeling that it should be held the other way...perhaps the light bulb fits securely through the smaller end

A little Feed-N-Wax on the bottom of that wooden bowl and it will look like new ;) it is one of my items I keep with in reach of my listing area. There is also a product called restore that has a little bit of color to it so it covers heavier scuffs. Both are by Howard products. Fun Finds
Non-toxic olive oil also perks up all wooden bowls. I like to apply thick coat, let it soak in, repeat then wipe out well w/paper towel. This can be used for raw/unfinished wood surfaces.

Very informative. I have been selling on ebay for a few years and enjoy getting other seller's perspective. I sell primarily linens and fabric. Breakables are scary for me but I can't pass up the profits. I probably overpack the item, better safe than sorry but now I have to be careful with USPS DIM weight. I have sold several comforters but now I will stick to duvets which are cheaper to ship. I have recently left my healthcare job to take care of my 81 year old mom. Ebay is a great way to make money while taking care of her. I foresee doing ebay well into retirement. Hi, I just found your channel and just in time!! I've been shopping and shopping and shopping and now have two rooms full of items to sell. I started an etsy store about a month ago but no sales as of yet which I'm OK with as I knew I would be gone for vacation so wasn't pushing until I was ready to give it my full attention. Love your channel! I know this is an older video but I wanted to mention that Dr Lori the antique appraiser says to use the bubble wrap bubbles side out. This is to cushion the item from something hitting it. It was something I had never thought if, but it makes sense 🙂

If you use a straw, and blow air into your ziplock bags, it gives your items more protection. I do that when I pack away any seasonal decor, I don't want broken.

Hi, I just found your channel and just in time!! I've been shopping and shopping and shopping and now have two rooms full of items to sell. I started an etsy store about a month ago but no sales as of yet which I'm OK with as I knew I would be gone for vacation so wasn't pushing until I was ready to give it my full attention. I plan on selling on eBay as well as I'm sure I have items that are not vintage. I'm mainly selling as I don't want to become a hoarder but I love to thrift.. Anyway I did subscribe and will be absorbing everything I Can and I did learn a lot today! I love the way you did this video, I liked all three sections so don't change a thing!! Love your channel! I know this is an older video but I wanted to mention that Dr Lori the antique appraiser says to use the bubble wrap bubbles side out. This is to cushion the item from something hitting it. It was something I had never thought if, but it makes sense 🙂

If you use a straw, and blow air into your ziplock bags, it gives your items more protection. I do that when I pack away any seasonal decor, I don't want broken.
