Thank you for sharing this beautiful store with us Karen . This is totally my style and although I am not Amish or Menonite I do cover my head for biblical and modesty purposes and thought that head covering cabinet was extra special . Thanks for sharing your time and reselling knowledge with us . Your doing an excellent job and I'm enjoying your videos .
Great video -if you have a newspaper printing close -I buy there end of rolls paper for a $1 and they are huge with a lot on them-something to check out
Those first jeans where pretty cool. I have sold a few clothing items so far and trying to get more into it. Sold a Robert Graham shirt and a Brad Paisley western shirt. some decent profit too. Thanks for sharing.
Loved each segment! Thank you for always sharing great tips! I always look forward to seeing all your finds. You have such an eye and wonderful taste. Wishing you a superb vacation and thanks again! ~Elizabeth from NH 😎
Thanks for sharing, it's always very helpful. I'm like you, if I see a piece of clothing that is in great/ like new condition I'll pick it up no matter the brand, I know I'm gonna make a profit anyways and I'm only paying $1 a piece (on certain color store tag) at my GW sale day. I also go to another thrift store they run 25%-75% off sales every wk, I always find great items; reg. & high end brand name clothing, shoes & misc. goods, I pay between $0.25-$9 a piece. Vacation? What is that? lol, it's been 4yrs since I had one😂 (too busy w/eBay & family). Have fun!
what a beautiful store and tour by you, in one previous video with your daughter you said "I have no original thoughts of my own" when Mellisa was talking about what to do with the wooden drapery rings and i thought "that's not true" because you come up with all kinds of things that people would have never thought of and how you do this review of this store is so thorough and nice for people to get ideas -- great job again!
Liked the store tour. Really enjoyed the packing tips and demonstration. Recently found your channel looks like you’re just getting started but already have a great following. I am so new to the resell avenue... I am learning so much from you as well as some others. I hope todo well with resell. Giving myself a year to get a strong footing. Love your channel.
Thanks for bringing us with you to that fabulous store! I fell in love with everything in it. I love that your videos are full of interesting content. Not a boring moment 😍👍❤
I found the tips for shipping breakables very helpful!! Especially the large lamp!!! Thank you so much for packing your case on the video. It was very informative and I really appreciate it. Also thanks doe the tip on the bubble wrap sale so I will be on the lookout for, that as well. ~Pamela
My ;ocal post office told me recently that I cannot use Fragile stickers or I would have to pay more, BUT I cab write the word Fragile on my items. Also, do you have to buy the ebay tape and tissue paper?
I finally put up 3 one a kind vintage add urn bird posters and I got two scammers trying to offer me much more. They wanted me to call them I knew it was a scam tomorrow I'm putting up my Ethan Allen giant brass pieces starting slow.
I am catching up on some of your videos and am filled with jealousy (lol) with your Goodwills and thrift stores and now you show this amazing store! Wow, I would be in Heaven! Here in NJ, Goodwill prices can be outrageously high!
Ooohhh that store! Simply heavenly...we have a little lakeside cottage in southern Michigan...I’m actually there right now on a little summer vacation...we are near one of the Michigan Amish communities here and the first thing we do after flying in from Los Angeles is to go to the Amish farm where they have a bakery! Fresh made cream, butter, cookies, cakes, pies, bread and all manner of veggies grown on the farm...so much good food and also a glimpse into a simpler way of life...such a soul soothing experience. Have a wonderful vacation in FL! 🥰
Thank you Karen for sharing that beautiful store. It looked huge inside. So many beautiful items. I Love the calming colors of the furniture and accessories, the browns, creams, tans, grays and black. The great thing about that is everything goes with everything. If you really want color in your home you can add a little bit of color by decorating with different accessories. I change the colors in my home when the seasons change. I add Flowers in vases, seasonal wreaths, change out pillows, pictures and a few different nick-kacks here and there. It just brings a home to life.
I just don’t understand how you can get as much money for your items. Unbelieveable really. Even a high end consignment in my area can’t get these prices, when you said you were going to sell those plaid Bermuda for 30 8 nearly well off my chair
I have given up shopping thrift stores because resellers have kind of ruined thrift stores for me. Gone are the days when the average person can just shop thrift stores for a bargain on their clothing and home decor or things for their kids. The resellers line up before the doors open, they rush the household and shoe departments, it’s the most vulgar display of greed I’ve ever seen. I have seen grown people fight over a pair of shoes. Once while looking for children’s books for my grandchildren a reseller walked over and arm swept three entire shelves of children’s books into his cart then walked over to the furniture, sat down and started to scan the books. It is repulsive to see this behavior.
Lynette Boxall hello!! So all clothing is assessed, it either gets machine washed, hand washed ( yup, im still hand washing delicate items), dry cleaned or steamed
Oh my gosh I absolutely adore everything in that store. I think this would be great everything in there seems right up my alley thank you so much for the tour I really enjoyed it. I personally would definitely welcome more of this type of content on your Channel I'm a new subscriber and reseller. By the way happy vacation
Habutai or habotai [ HAH-buh-tahy ] (from the Japanese habutae (literally "feather-two-layer") is one of the most basic plain weaves of silk fabric. Habutai is a lightweight, shimmering material once used mainly for making silk kimonos. It is sheer and often has an ivory color.[1] Traditionally woven in Japan, most habutai is now woven in China. It is normally a lining silk but can also be used for T-shirts, summer blouses, lampshades, or very light lingerie. It is easy to dye. Like other silks, habutai comes in a variety of weights/ thicknesses which is measured in mommes (abbreviated mm). A lightweight and sheer habutai silk might be 8 mommes ("8mm"); a 16mm habutai is considered quite thick.
Habutai or habotai (from the Japanese habutae (羽二重), literally "feather-two-layer") is one of the most basic plain weaves of silk fabric. While it was traditionally woven in Japan, most habutai is today woven in China. Habutai - Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habutai Thank you for starting this channel. I wish you great success. I've learned a lot from you, so thanks for sharing your vast knowledge and expert advice. Your packaging is superb, but I would like to say that when I open a package and see loose packing peanuts, I dread opening it the rest of the way. I know what I'm in for... A mess. They go everywhere; all over the room in which I open the box. I find that they are easy to control if they are inside the plastic bags you use for packing. I tie them closed and as I use them, they become "molded" to the item being shipped. I can vary the amount in each bag as needed to get the right fit. There's no need for loose peanuts. A more eco -friendly alternative is balled up newspaper, newsprint (my go-to choice), or cornstarch peanuts inside the bags. No mess for the buyer and you still get that molded-to-the-item effect. :) Keep the videos coming. You have a pleasant voice and demeanor, which is a refreshing for UA-cam, and I love your humor. :)
Thank you for sharing! Love your videos!!👍😻🥰🌟. I love how confident you are about Pricing your clothes. I am new as a reseller. There are so much I can learn from you. Why don’t you sell on Poshmark as well? Maybe you are selling there already. What is the advantage sell clothes or vintage items on EBay comparing to Poshmark?
I just thoroughly enjoyed your Packing process , you are like me I like to be Safe than sorry when I am putting any frgile items to send out. Thank you so much !!!!
This is my first time viewing you video. It is excellent! That store you took us through...is just absolutely beautiful and the value was very superb!! I Ioved the use of the old doors for display of clothing. I just bought a 100 yr old door for $5 and may do the same with it.
I'm super impressed with your you tube videos and your hauls are amazing. As someone a wee bit closer to "senior citizen" than you are, I also have started reselling to supplement my retirement funds. (I did retire a bit early). I have one teensy little bit of feedback. Your voice is soft and beautiful but I have to turn my volume up a bit to hear it. That's fine except when the music comes on, it blares. Is there a way you can get the sounds to be the same? Thanks! Again, I really love watching your videos.
Loved the video Karen! Thank you for sharing keywords and price points. Loved the store tour too. One question, no worries if your not comfortable sharing. About how many items did you list per week from start to finish before you hired your daughter? I know it may take me a decade to reach, but I would love a goal to aim for. Thanks again! Nancy❤️❤️❤️
Love your videos...so much fun seeing what you bought and how much you are going to sell it for. Always remind to hit the like button...I forget most times until you do.
I’m so glad you went through the store! I have been meaning to stop in there. I’m only about 30 minutes away. I love going to the goodwill outlet right there.
hmm you must live in a depressed area..19.99 to 29.99 is our price guide here in Marysville WA. BUT you lost me, the first video was of a double hands belt that you cancelled the sale..and then sold it for 399 to someone else. That's just not done in my books. Good luck, you lost me..
DEFINITELY continue making videos -- you are so educational, thorough, and inspiring!! I wish I could binge :)
You are fabulous! Just a very nice person and your videos are so enjoyable and informative. My new favorite channel. 🌺

Wish thrift stores around my area had prices that cheap. Can't even get a nice tank top for under $5.
Loved each segment! Thank you for always sharing great tips! I always look forward to seeing all your finds. You have such an eye and wonderful taste. Wishing you a superb vacation and thanks again! ~Elizabeth from NH 😎

I love your channel I just retired and began reselling. I don’t find your brands maybe that’s why I don’t sell much
Karen you are such fun! I love watching your videos, you make great comments and I learn something every time I watch your videos. Thanks! :) Pat
I thought you might fill the void in the vase with some of your bags. Do you find that is not necessary?

Wonderful packaging with care, Karen! Thank you!

YoU said that you go back and check the listing after weighing and measuring the package. Does that mean you can change it (in the listing)?

I see you generally go 5 times what you pay in general, my consignment store won’t tKe any labels from ?Walmart’s or Target.
Everything in that store was gray! So tired of prison colors!
I could walk around that store all day! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the video. I have a question: Where did you find all these boxes?
A type of woven silk, habutai

I love the Lilly Pulitzer Dress, is it still available?
Thank you for the tips!!
The Mary McFadden blouse looks like it's covered in soutache. You could use that as a key word.
susi q thanks so much!!
Do you wash all of the clothes you get before selling them? Your washing machine must be on all day long!
Moonstone Magique so all clothing is accessed and gets handwashed, machine washed and line dried, dry cleaned or steamed
What type of steamer do you use?
I really love watching you Karen, hello from Australia. Quick question, do you wash all the clothes first?
Lynette Boxall hello!! So all clothing is assessed, it either gets machine washed, hand washed ( yup, im still hand washing delicate items), dry cleaned or steamed
Buy bigger sizes please :)
Wow I never realized you were so close to me, that's awesome! I live about half an hour from Lancaster😍😍
How do you know what weight to fill in when you prefill the listing? Thanks!
Oh my gosh I absolutely adore everything in that store. I think this would be great everything in there seems right up my alley thank you so much for the tour I really enjoyed it.
