My son lost his job & was in a tight spot, he’d drive around on trash day looking for things he could pick up & resell. Not only did that get him out of the jam he was in but gave him a cushion to be able to start his own business. Now he’s his own boss, beautiful family, home & cars. It just takes effort & the willingness to do a lil hustling
You may have better sales because of your following but you both worked your butt off to achieve that following. Nobody is taking into account the amount of time you take to source your items, the gas it takes to get to these places, the time it takes to list... not to mention the water, cleaning supplies, and electricity used to clean it all. On top of all that, coming up with video ideas and I know that editing videos takes a great deal of time. You guys earn every single cent you make and in the process you entertain and teach us so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Great video ! I agree your viewership is not an unfair advantage. I have been following you I think for two years now and you’ve built a great channel that only got better when Haily joined full time. You both have worked not just hard but consistently and I love what you’ve shared when you did the fundraiser for your church’s mission in Mexico. It’s super important to give back and help others. Kudos to you both ❤
You're videos are great and you're a good guy, but there's one thing that drives me nuts, and you like to use this term. The word is "patina." I once believed, like you and millions of other people that "patina" was surface look, feel of an item, or finish if furniture, etc. The word means none of those things. It is actually the application or colorization to metal. That is actually a pet peeve of "Dr. Lori", expert antiques appraiser. A lesson for the day.😅 Glad you have new tires!
Yes...definitely count the $75 toward the goal. You guys have shown people how to make money in every possible way reselling. Anyone can flip something if they want it bad enough. Thanks for all the fun videos!
You two really hustle. You both have a good eye for shopping. I never miss your videos!! I like that you talk about items as you pick and you share with each other! I appreciate your upbeat moods, kindness, sense of humor, smiles, and you two have a great relationship. God's blessings always. (Colette in Washington state)
it's really just a sad testament to the waste we Americans consume then burden the Earth with. I love it for resale purposes, but for the environment it's just horrible.
Same in Australia. We do have thrift stores of course and have big outlets in major cities, but nothing like the goodwill bins. I enjoy seeing what you can find, but it's also cool seeing that people can make a very nice living if you're willing to put the work into it and of course it rescues these things from being dumped. I watch some vintage re-seller UA-camrs that shop at Goodwill as I'm a collector of vintage glass and kitchy ceramics and I'm in awe at what can be found just sitting on a shelf for $5 at a Goodwill over there.
You two are doing you, and you are making everything work ❤👍 I say,"poop" on the ones that say you do anything wrong! I am always happy to see your smiling faces😁 Thank you for alllll of the work you put into your videos🥰
I love these ‘challenge’ videos. I also love ‘closure’ 😉 I have no doubt you have worked hard to be where you are and I appreciate you sharing your journey. Wishing you both continued success! Hoping to run into you someday at the bins
Im in the uk and am so jealous of you in the US having goodwill. We have charity shops who are constantly putting up their prices and are very small. If you question them about why they say they a guided by ebay prices. I may just write to goodwill and ask them to open up over here.
I LOVE that you are realistic and know that you get prices that the average person might not. So many UA-camr don’t seem to understand that. I think you did your math incorrectly. WhatNot 8% commission is charged only on the selling price. The 2.9% is charged on the total which includes the shipping and taxes. I haven’t looked lately but isn’t it 30 cents per transaction payment fee? Not 35?? Now I’m wondering. Just trying to get you to the magic number of $1110!!!
Awesome fines at the Goodwill bins. Both of you work hard and awesome teachers at well. Been on your channel for several years and will continue on. That $1,000 in 30 days video series challenge I enjoyed it immensely! Oh, by the way those tires were mad! Much blessings!
Don't down play your hard work! All the "benefits" and "unfair" advantage is directly related to all the hard work you've both put into the lives tou live as resellers! The reason you have so many followers and watchers is because you're both KIND, hardworking, and you SHARE what you've learned! You both deserve all the success that comes with all the effort you both put in. I for one LOVE your channel! It's POSITIVE, EDUCATIONAL FUN and .....HALEY! 😂 Her excitement is CONTAGIOUS! I know I've commented multiple times on it but it's TRUE! Haley is amazing. 😍
J Jill “scarf” looked like a beach/bathing suit waist wrap, but one of the good things about being a husband and wife team is that the wife can clue you in about women’s fashion as you work together. I know mine does. I hold up such items and she fills me in about the key words for the listing title, and when I pay attention, might even learn something too.
Your viewership helps for sure, but you work hard for your $. You also helped get me through lockdown with your antics and humour. Thanks for all you do.
Love your videos! You and Hayley show the ups AND downs of reselling, especially on Whatnot. I appreciate your honesty! I wouldn’t mind seeing your bins/thrift hauls BEFORE a Whatnot auction. I always see stuff I’d like to look out for, but the auctions happen before you post the videos, and I don’t always get the notifications. ❤
You Both Work So Hard & I enjoy buying from you on What Not BC you appreciate it & I know exactly how much you put in to every Video & Every Auction! Congrats to your Success ❤
I'm currently on a roadtrip to different bins locations.... but two of the ones I went to in PA were closed! What a bummer. Glad you guys are still thriving!
I remember your 2021 video when you started a new EBay store from scratch, you found things on the side of the road like that larger wood mirror, and Hayley was afraid to be on camera, playing frisbee golf in the front yard with Mose, buying the embroidery machine, I’ve been with you for awhile now!
Can you explain what this auction was and how it actually works? How can you list all those items in one afternoon? And now you have to ship them all to individual people?
Thanks for all the videos and inspiration, hopefully opening an ebay store in a couple weeks to get my feet wet and see how this all works. I also hope you enjoy the new tires, I have been building the Cooper brand tires for 32 years. Planning on retiring next May and would like to do this on a full time bases, if I can keep up with finding enough inventory.....Keep putting out the videos!
Follow the guidelines for rotation on your tires. Also, make sure air pressure guidelines are followed. It is important for uniform wear. You want them to last as long as possible.
No shade from me. You've done a lot of hard work to be where y'all are. I see y'all as an inspiration to try new things that will hopefully be profitable for my family. ❤
I think you guys did great. I love following you guys because you are trust worthy and tell us like it is. Your Goodwill bins are much better than SLC bins. Glad you are taking advantage of that!
Hello guys, with the grey jacket stains, try white vinegar and baking soda. Gently bush it in with white brush or sponge right before you put it in the wash. I do enjoy your goodwill videos. You never know what you gonna find lol xx
I think I may have told you before. There is an Italian bar laundry soap that takes out stains that spay and wash doesn't. Look for Linda laundry soap or Il Sapone della Nona Linda. Rub it in with a tooth brush and then wash the item. Takes grease stains out really well
You both did a great job and your job is not easy, I think you both are great and have helped me and I'm sure several others who resell. Thank you sharing.
Yes you can shout it from the Mountain Top that your hard work has paid off!👍 But your constant effort to achieve your goals not only reaps benefits for yourself but all those you sell to and us your SUBSCRIBERS who wish only the best for you and your wife!🌟🌟🌟🌟
To anyone who thinks the outcome is not realistic because of the amount of followers, keep in mind that if you are attempting to do the same thing it would take longer to shop, longer to sell, but you can get good results. Shop wisely and spend time listing in the best forum for the item
Just found out we have just one bin goodwill store up here. I want to try it, however i heard you say the prices. What i saw for the store up here said $1.50 to $2.75. Wonder why? I'm so impressed with what you guys got. You guys have the most helpful and encouraging videos. Thanks a bunch.
Wasn't Leslie Nielsen Mr Magoo? I'm avg 1 t-shirt a month now with Salvation Army closed. Every cool design shirt is gone at GW proper and the bins unless tag on shirt was removed. I believe t-shirts at the GW is 4 or $5.
I feel your pain regarding new tires. I drive a big Mazda CX-90 that can be licensed as a truck so it needs big honkin' tires, too. After everything else, there's the tire disposal fee😅
I wish our bins were as good as yours. Not sure what's happening, but they are worthless lately. I used to sell a ton of board shorts! You guys made a good haul!
That’s how you do it. Everything we buy for us we also buy a few things to sell to ultimately get what we need free plus profit. I learned this as a teenager. This year I turn 60. It really pays to thrift. You see it as you make sales but over time it will benefit you so much. It will help you retire sooner and in better shape financially. Thrift & save on everything and you will be very blessed when you are 60. But you know I love thrifting to resale so much that I will do it as long as physically possible. And I am disabled. I was in a place crash in my 20. And by my 40’s chronic pain caught up with me. When you have something like chronic pain you need to focus on something you enjoy to get your mind off of it. That’s what I do. It’s exciting to hunt for good stuff and it still makes me excited to hear cha Ching. Y’all take care and I hope you get everything you need to make up that tire money. I’m sure you will. Leslye
I actually paid for my new tires from reselling part time back in November. They were about $900 tires and my reselling paid for it all. Now I'm trying to get another $900 to pay for FlipCon + Hotel + Flight. lol. I can't do it in a day but I can maybe do it in a couple of weeks or a month. Having some extra cash helps with so many things.
You and Hailey have worked your butts off. How could anyone say it’s not realistic. You all have put years of your life into growing your audience. I absolutely love your videos and the fact that you share with the world. How anyone could do the same if they were willing to do the work. Thanks for sharing with us.
Even if you didn't get to your goal, getting $960 back from what you spend on the wheels is still a great deal!! Would still be hella proud if I was able to get that amount of money back just from spending 2 hours thrifting. Great video as always. ❤
Great video. 3 questions please from a beginner: (1) Do you prefer WhatNot over eBay...Can I ask why please? , (2) How exactly do you set up your listings on the WhatNot website? , (3) Does the WhatNot website only have auctions and not "Buy Now" option?
I enjoy hearing Hayley using Tshirt Bro vocabulary like back hit…makes you sound like official resellers….great video. Your goodwill prices are so amazing…our Tshirts are 3.99 to 6.99…Mens long sleeve shirts $6.99 to 9.99…blankets are 9.99 plus
Do you two have employees or other help? You do such massive volumes of things at times. I can't imagine all the work involved in the whole process for just 2 people. Btw, I LOVE your videos! I have learned so much 😊
Hello hairytornado, new subscriber. Even though you didn't get the set goal amount to pay for the new tires, I thought it was a killer deal going from 1010$ to only 50$. It's almost like getting a 97% discount. However, the proof is there, you can make a decent amount of money in a few days, which is awesome. I've also learned about how eBay fees work.

Good for him! I like industrious people
Where does he sell his stuff on what web site?
So happy for your son.
Mr. Magoo was a cartoon in the 70s. He was mostly blind but functioning around trying to drive his car was the highlight of the show.
Plus the movie later.
Sorry to hear Josh had no idea who Mr Magoo was. Loved that show.
People have to remember Josh is younger the cartoon was not a thing during his child hood
Mr. Magoo was established in 1949.
It starred the voice of Jim Backus, who also played the millionaire on Gilligan's Island.

IDEA FOR A FUTURE VIDEO: go through 1-2
entire bins to show all sellable things you find
I love this idea!!
Hayley and Josh!!! Thanks for taking us along! I appreciate you both so much! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
You two really hustle. You both have a good eye for shopping. I never miss your videos!! I like that you talk about items as you pick and you share with each other! I appreciate your upbeat moods, kindness, sense of humor, smiles, and you two have a great relationship. God's blessings always. (Colette in Washington state)
When a bag of plush is a dollar it’s literally free money if you are willing to clean and list them I wish I had a bins near me, love the videos btw
Where do you sell all those plush. I had no idea those sold well
More importantly how do you really clean them without damaging them?
You guys work so hard, im so proud of you both. Every dollar you make you have earned it. Positive vibes...ty.
We don't have this type of thing in the UK (that I know about) so I always enjoy a goodwill video to see all the great items you guys get 😀
If only we did !
Lynne de Lacy I know - it would be great eh 😀
it's really just a sad testament to the waste we Americans consume then burden the Earth with. I love it for resale purposes, but for the environment it's just horrible.

I saw your thrifting video in Paris, very cool :)
another gorgeous quilt!!!
Been waiting a week for this. The moment is finally here. So excited!!

Oh---that series was what hooked me on your videos!!!! I loved it - even though I'm not a reseller, I just loved the can-do attitude.
Never apologize for your success. You and Haley have worked very hard to build your following.
You two are such a cute couple. It's amazing how you find treasures in that chaos. I'm old and crabby and could never do what you two do!
Oh! I just noticed your Doug shirt. Love Doug!! Also agree with the sentiment on your sign "Treat your friends special".
J Jill “scarf” looked like a beach/bathing suit waist wrap, but one of the good things about being a husband and wife team is that the wife can clue you in about women’s fashion as you work together. What a great video, you two are always entertaining!! Hello from Canada, and thanks so much for your videos!!!
Definitely not an “unfair” advantage. You have worked hard to be where you are. Awesome work
I totally agree. I think the people who would complain would find anything to complain about.
I'm currently on a roadtrip to different bins locations.... but two of the ones I went to in PA were closed! What a bummer. Glad you guys are still thriving!

The no named Teal and orange quilt is from Walmart. I have the same one.
i believe we have all grown to love you n hailey n we appreciate you both with all the work you both put in here.. hope u both the best ever

The way you showed the new tire and then put that musik to it 🤣🤣🤣🤣 so short, but so funny 🤗🤣 Lots of Love from Germany
Follow the guidelines for rotation on your tires. Also, make sure air pressure guidelines are followed. It is important for uniform wear. You want them to last as long as possible.
Thanks for the video Josh and Hayley. I enjoyed this very much!❤
Your hustle is amazing. Not everyone can do it so good on you for every advantage you have now. The hard work is paying off!
No shade from me. You've done a lot of hard work to be where y'all are. I see y'all as an inspiration to try new things that will hopefully be profitable for my family. ❤
While you were searching for the last chipmunk I kept screaming ALVIN!!! In my head 😀
I really appreciate what you do and how hard you work!!! Thank you for taking us on your journey.
Did you subtract the laundry 🧺 expense
You are fortunate to have a bins by you - looks like so much fun! Congrats on your great picking day. 👏🏻
I think you guys did great. I love following you guys because you are trust worthy and tell us like it is. Your Goodwill bins are much better than SLC bins. Glad you are taking advantage of that!

Hi love you all's videos..about your tires...you may need Alignment and if you do and don't get it... you will wear out the new ones. Thanks
I got an alignment
Well done you two,once again.👏👏👏👏🥰
Another fab video. You found so much stuff and i love that it almost paid for all your tires

jealous of your bins prices! great pickin, tornados!
Nice! You’re motivating me to list my stuff. Great video. Thanks.

Thank the liberals like yourself for those fees
I run the same tires on my pickups. Love them! And sweet video. Love the challenge!
I wish our bins were as good as yours. Not sure what's happening, but they are worthless lately. I used to sell a ton of board shorts! You guys made a good haul!
27:36 thank you!!! You’ve worked your arses off to achieve success!!!
I would never think to pickup some of these items, plus the cleaning. Thanks for opening my eyes.

Have you tried any Folex cleaner to clean with?
When looking at one of the jacket it had two stain on it it looks like grease. Used dawn dish liquid. I get them off before goes to wash.
Love all y’all’s videos!! Keep up the great work!
How do you do shipping for heavy leather jackets?
Great job! I think you can call it a successful day! You both did a great job.
You guys are great!!! You get down to the details!!!
That's it "sweet talk," use your charm Josh, lol! It was nice to see you guys in AZ
You’ve got 48 days! Lol
You and Hailey have worked your butts off. How could anyone say it’s not realistic. You all have put years of your life into growing your audience. I absolutely love your videos and the fact that you share with the world. How anyone could do the same if they were willing to do the work. Thanks for sharing with us.
Great challenge video! Thoroughly enjoyed!
A great job!! Your bins are soo much better than any I have been to around here
Really great sales 👍 👏 thanks for the video
I think wether you add all the cost of the shipping materials and everything either way you guys did dang good for 1 days worth of work
Even if you didn't get to your goal, getting $960 back from what you spend on the wheels is still a great deal!!
WhatNot has auction AND Buy it nows. Am not a reseller but am a buyer on there.
Yall deserve everything you get. You guys work seriously hard!!
Love your videos. Keep up the good work
I enjoy hearing Hayley using Tshirt Bro vocabulary like back hit…makes you sound like official resellers….great video. Your goodwill prices are so amazing…our Tshirts are 3.99 to 6.99…Mens long sleeve shirts $6.99 to 9.99…blankets are 9.99 plus
You two are the best! Super nice video! ❤from the Netherlands
What cameras you guys use and where you get that strap on carrier for the camera ?
Great sales! How much did you sell the True Religion jacket?
$91
did you get the lacoste gray sweeter ?
Do you two have employees or other help? You do such massive volumes of things at times. I can't imagine all the work involved in the whole process for just 2 people.
Btw, I LOVE your videos! I have learned so much 😊
We have one employee
@@HairyTornado you guys do an amazing job!
Marimekko is a highly popular Finnish brand! That flower pattern is their signature.
That tote would be about 100$ worth second hand in Scandinavia.
Do you have a video about getting stains out?
I don’t
These are my favorite videos you make!
Loved this vid❤. Been a reseller since 1982. Back then I was called an antique dealer.
Next time check see if the dealerships has any coupons sometimes they have buy 3 get 1. For a dollar same for oil changes. And other stuff
Sweet set of tires for sure!
Nice tires!! Y’all find the best stuff! Our goodwills don’t have good stuff
It's surreal seeing the pumba webkin I bought from y'all on whatnot in this video. Thanks again for the inspiration to start my own reselling store.
Merrimekko is a awesome Finnish brand and a great find and u did find some shoes that were merrimekko a while ago! Nice find!
even if you were a couple hundred short, that's 4 tires for $200. pretty good.
