Good luck for the new season with pitea let's hope for lots of saves and a promotion
Thank you mate, that's the aim!
Or minimal saves and all clean sheets cuz your defense is stacked. And your positioning is 100. Either one
About to start my first season as a keeper, partly because of your VLOGs, so appreciate all the content - including these little gems rookies wouldn't think about. GL for the season ahead, Conor :)
Amazing! Thank you, the same to you, enjoy the season!!
Thanks for the tip, Conor! New seasons about to start in a bit and I might get new gloves. Best of Luck for your season!
Love it!! All the best for it mate!
Good luck for the new season Conor!!!
Thank you!
great video again mate, certainly nothing better than new gloves and the pre match prep certainly as important if not more important than post match
Thanks Joe, exactly! Want to do everything you can to look after the gloves and get the most out of them!
You are the best goalie ever love your content mate cheers for the advice 😁🥅⚽️⚽️
Legend! Thank you mate, you're welcome, glad you enjoy it!
Glad you made this video I always struggle getting that plastic off. It was also good to know that it's better to wash the gloves before using them. 👍🧤
Glad it helps mate!
Great tip Connor...many of us do this regardless but quite a few keepers still unsure...a great little reminder & it really does help with grip...& always good to wash the gloves after every use (especially the latex palms)
Definitely! Looking after the gloves after using them is even more important!
Some brand specifically say after 2-4 uses due to the materials they use! And every use will also sometimes ruin em so sometimes i just use water on em before a game
Thanks Conor!
Thanks Alex!
thanks, just got new gk gloves and this vid was very helpful.
Glad you found it helpful!
Great video keep it up 👍
Thanks mate!
Looking forward to the new season 🙂
Thank you, me too!
I got mine couple weeks ago and the gloves are amazing
Love it! Glad you are enjoying them!
Thank you for the tips
You're welcome!
cheers mate this helped
Glad to hear that mate!
Du är bäst.
Tack min vän

Hello bro, thank you very much, I appreciate your help. Thank you I'm waiting for next day to start training with the gloves 🧤🧤😊.
Hope you enjoy them!!
Thanks a lot 🎉
Always welcome!
Love u mate
Big love mate!
was hoping for a vlog but I understand it must be tough with all the moving about. Still a banger none the less
New vlog coming this weekend!
Bro i am goalkeeper and i have a matchday tom and i bought new pair of gloves today because my old ones lost their grip. ... Thnks so much this helps me so much man u seriously don't know...
Love it mate! Hope the game goes well!
Question, how many gloves would you say you go through a season? And I assume you have different ones for training and match days?
In another video he said about 5-7 :)
I have a match pair, and a training pair, and when I get a new match pair, I relegate the old match pair to training! Probably between 6-8 new gloves a year!
@@ConorOKeefe 6-8 gloves and how many games do u guys play a season?
Hi Connor love the videos but I wanted to ask if you can make a video on how and what to communicate as a goalkeeper?
Yes, will definitely try and do that at some point!
Big fan
Thank you!
Thanks a lot i got my new pair of adidas predator gloves and i used this tip for wash my gloves. This is very helpful. Subscribe. But i have one problem. Im thinking that i can lost my grip. I hope that everything is well. Thanks🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good video for young goalkeepers Conor, thanks.
Another small tip: insert a toilet paper tube (empty lol !!) on the wrist so that it's get dry quicker on the inside of the gloves!
Thanks Guillaume, that's a great tip! Not hear of that one before!
Nice one Conor! I should learn how to peel those plastic as one piece 😂
Hahah definitely a test of patience!
I've found it easier to peel off the plastic once the gloves have soaked.
I always love yr gloves. Wish you could be my goalie coach
Thanks Mario!! The link to them is in the video description!
Do you recommend drying them with a air fan in front of them so they can try quicker ? Or better natural? Thanks
For gloves? I just let them hang to try, anything else normally dries them out too much
Hello, I would like to ask you some questions. Do you pre wash the new gloves as soon as you get it ? Or do the pre wash a couple of days before a match ?
Nice content btw, cheers
Normally just a couple of days before I will use them!
@@ConorOKeefe I see, thank you so much for the reply.
Hey conor what about reusch gloves , it is a liitle bit weird as a glove , do i do the same stuff you did?
I've never tried them unfortunately!
Hi Conor, thanks for the video. Do I need to do this for 1YNX gloves as I just purchased them but and used them without washing them at the start? Also, another keeper told me to wash them after each training session/match, I wiped them with a wet tissue, not sure whether that’s enough or whether I should be washing them or not? Kindly let me know your thoughts bro.
Hi mate, it's personal preference really, but I like to do this before I use new gloves. And I have a video on how to wash GK gloves that should help too!
I prewashed my gloves, it was almost dry but. I felt likr the grio was better without washing, is it just because it is not dry yet or did i did smothing wrong, please explain conor😊
It may have been stickier, but the grip on the ball is the most important - I always find that's better after a prewash, but it's often a personal preference
I got a question connor, when they are soaked after washing its normal for them to not have any grip while they are very wet right? Or did i just ruin my gloves..
Yes that's normal, wring them out gently and let them dry naturally (away from the sun/direct heat etc) and the grip on the ball will be perfect
I pre washed my uhlsport gloves and they lost a lot of grip 😢
For your team do u train daily, and does Sweden generally train in evenings or mornings ?
We train 5 days a week + one game day! And we train in the afternoons, but that differs depending on the team I think
should I take the finger saves out before I pre wash them?
You don’t have to!
What if they have the finger protection do you pre wash it with them in or out?
I don't use finger protection, so I'm not too sure, but I'm sure it'll be fine to wash them like this when they're in!
Does this work with uhlsport gloves and does it work with supergrip+
I've never tried Uhlsport gloves, but I use this technique on all the gloves I wear, and it's very helpful!
on game highlights could you give us a look at the gloves you will be useing
Yes, I can do!
@@ConorOKeefe thanks
Hi Conor! Do I also need to wash my adidas gloves or not? Thank you!
It's personal preference, but I would!
do you have to wash uhl sport goal keeper gloves ( super grip) mine became less stick later though.😅
I don't know those gloves unfortunately! They should still be great in games though!
@@ConorOKeefe thank you for you help 😊😊
Conor who do model your game after?
Try and take a bit from lots of Keepers! But I love watching MA Ter Stegen
Nice gloves guy
Thanks!
Do the gloves get a bit more durable when you do this?
Keeping them clean & taking care of them we’ll definitely helps them to last longer!
Should it be hard to put on your gloves? What should I do if it is?
Sometimes it is if they are new - they sometimes loosen up after some time of using them. If not, you may need to buy some bigger sized gloves!
Hey Conor, do you recommend finger saves?
Maybe for younger keepers, especially when moving up age groups, but I stopped wearing them when I got a bit older as I found them a bit too rigid!
@@ConorOKeefe What about for a casual sunday mens league goalie. I dont want to break any fingers, its not worth it for me. Do the finger saves really provide a significant amount of extra protection vs maybe tape?
If you have the pre charged latax should you still pre wash your gloves
Personal choice really, but I think the pre-charge latex is designed to be able to be used straight away if you want to!
Thanks
What happens if you have the chemicals in your gloves and you don’t wash it. Will it affect the latex
Not really, I just find that the grip is a bit better with a pre-wash!
@@ConorOKeefe thanks for the reply most soccer/futbol UA-camrs don’t reply to my so this helped me out a lot.
Should I wash the gloves now if I won't use them for maybe 1 month? Because I will wear them only for football matches
I'd keep them with the plastic on for now, and then you can prewash them closer to when you need to use them!
@@ConorOKeefe thanks
What groves are your ones
These were the Pwrlite model from Kaliaaer!
Do you rate the glove glu
Never really used it!
i bouhgt new gloves and did a pre wash but now all the grip is gone
They will work, don't worry! It's the grip on the ball that is important, not the grip to the other glove!
@@ConorOKeefe oh okay thanks
@@ConorOKeefe question since i cant hold the ball i think my hand is to small or the grip
Do all goalkeeper gloves have the plastic on them?
Quite a lot of them!
Are they visible because on my gloves I can't see any plastic on them ?
@@nathanhughes6204 yes, you’d be able to see it if they had it on!
Ok thankyou👍
Why are my goalkeeper gloves not sticky?
The main thing is the grip on the ball, not the grip to each other!
My biggest question, I'm genuinely curious, how "big" of a footballer do you have to be, to be able to make a proper living?
Like, is it a sustainable thing? (if it's not, do you get more income from UA-cam?)
I'm interested because, it never seems like it pays well enough if you play in these "lower tier leagues/teams" (no offense)
:)
It's tough to say, because it really does depend on the team/contract, and some players will need to have another job as well to live!
Do you give away
😉
Btw the plastic is only for size 10,s and above
Not always! These are size 9s!
@@ConorOKeefe oh fair enough I’ve just ordered some size nines
How do you cope with all the languages in team
Try my best to learn them!
