Hi Mark, I have a sym 50cc and tonight it started to cough a bit after I hit a speed bump too quickly, I had to come of throttle a bit to stop it cutting out, after that it sounds funny but also feels faster? Any ideas pal as I'm absolutely clueless with engines, it's not restricted and all standard
Thanks for sharing Mark. A lot of oil around today. Choice can be difficult. As you say. If you care about your bike you choose the correct oil to suit.
Hey Mr Savage! You make great videos and helped me out a lot. I have a question. So my Pugeot ludix elegance 50cc 2005 has an interesting issue. After months of trouble shooting I got it to run properly BUT the solution was to complete block off the air box intake hose with a plastic bag. So it was getting too much air so I blocked off the air intake with a clamp and plastic bag. This can't be good in the long run . What do you think is the issue ?
hi mark glad you put this video up .i have subbed to your channel really interesting channel.i have the sym 125 xs motorcycle. i used to have yamahe 600. so used to putting expensive oil in it.will the the sym be ok with 10/40 semi symthetic oil .not had a 125 cc since i was 18. so these 125cc bikes are like new to me again.but it will let me get out on the bike again, as i have had to get lighter bike as struggling holding bike up .. as i have got bad arthritus in both knees now.thank you in advance.

Hi mark you have helped me alot in the past. I have a clutch problem with my speedfight 2. I dont think its the gearbox but the clutch. When i spin the clutch the wheel doesnt turn and the clock on the clutch just spins around loosely. Any tips?
hi so variator all ok , roller good the clutch plays a big part when you spin the rear wheel does the variator system work right maybe do a video of it bud
Hi Mark would castrol 10w40 part synthetic hurt my yamaha xmax 300? Planing to use it for 2k miles before oil change. I average about 150 miles daily on my scooter crusing on highway 6 to 7k rpm.
On these as you oil does not service the clutch it would be fine , on most motorbikes the oil goes around the clutch so then I'd only use motorbike oil
Hey mate i have a yam aerox 50r it has all the upgrades 70 kit etc wasnt running wen i got it, it pulls great up to 20mph and holds there ive cleaned the carb starts and ticks fine great until cluch veriator belt rollers fly wheel all new as is the 70cc kit,any ideas im at my teather 👍🏼
i hate big bore kits as they are so hard to set up bud as in my video on here!! its not just the head and piston but the plug ,coil, carb , jets , air filter, reeds , variator , rollers and them set up !! it can be hard bud

Hello Mark! Would you know why my speedfight 2 doesnt rev when it has been idling for like 10 seconds also when starting? But when you hold the throttle for a bit it clears out and works. I tried adjusting the air fuel screw but when its two turns out it bogs at full throttle and 1,5 turns it does that.
it can be a few things bud jet size maybe go 4 smaller but see whats in it now 54/56 norm and should run 60 make sure carb is on tight pipes are new and tight reeds?

Hi mark I’ve got a speedfight 100 got a weird problem with it I’ve changed the left and right crank seals cdi regulator and stator and also tried several jets It’ll tick over and idle but as soon as I give it throttle it’ll have a hard time revving up and just back fire out exhaust Is there anyway of contacting you instagram or something im completely baffled at this time what it could be
back firing is normal a sign of piston or ring damage did you check or replace these when you did the crank? did the seal go in correctly did you check the reeds

to be fair most at 4000 but 3000 is fine for a high miles as it will keep going that way, most check specs but 10/40 in the Uk is fine

When you cut them it would have earthed the cdi so you blow it bud
You'll need a new cdi or bypass unit

Get a 2t. 50cc 4t will never be fast.
most are cdi and exhaust and carb restricted , so all will need doing
you can change the rollers which will give you better pull away but thats all
